I hope this guy was telling the truth about his whole situation. It sounds like he had and maybe still has some maturing to do, but I don’t get the feeling there was any malicious intent. Best case scenario he grows as a person, doesn’t make the same mistakes, and people eventually forgive him.

Okay, so im not entirely sure if i understood this situation, however other than talking... nothing else seemed to have happened (from the limited amount of research I did). He afterwards asked his friends about it, who completely flipped out and instantly posted it instead of just telling him it WAS in fact wrong. Now he fully took responsibility for it and apolagises and even admits he deserves all this hate, even from the friends who decided to instantly make the situation fully public. IDK about u but to me this is one of the rare cases where i think u can forgive him ngl.

In the people who demonized this guy's minds, even if she was 1 day away from being 18, they'd still say she was underaged. All they care about is the legality of it, not the fact that there is barely any difference in mental maturity between 17-18. At least he wasn't any older, but then again, there are literal 18-20 yr old girls getting with 40+ year olds because of their money and they ain't crying about that. It is true the drone is a valuable tool in apex you can bring your teammates back with a drone, you can activate recon towers with the drone, you can notify teammates about enemies with the drone.
The best way in my opinion to avoid getting the drone shot down as often is to remember that crypto is there to support your other teammates. You shouldn’t be the first person engaging in the fight so therefore never throw your drone straight up in the air, if your other teammates have not yet initiated a fight with the enemy team.
i respect this mans honesty to be fair. I also think you should hold yourself accountable to your actions, and i feel as if he really brushed over the 23-17 thing. That is a big deal, and there isnt really an excuse for it.

Crypto is my main recon legend. He pairs so good with the g7/30-30 and triple take. Then a shotty or smg for secondary. I always get into pecking battles with them. I’ll send my drone out anger it behind them and then hit the emp. You got to flank with the drone. As long as you’re shooting at the team they’re not worried about the drone. That’s best time to have it out passively

I'm from New Zealand; it's really interesting because the legal age you can consensually have sex is 16, yet the legal definition for a "child" is under 20. You can't get married without consent until 18. So while technically you can legally consent to sex at 16 there are still HUGE differences in the psychology of a 17 year old and a 23 year old. I'm 30 now and I think if I remember back to when I was 23, 17 wouldn't seem that young/much of an age gap and I can see how he probably thought that at the time. As I get older and learn more about the world, think about it in different ways, I look at this stuff and go actually yeah that's not ok. Some people say "age is just a number" but as someone whose wife cheated on me for her 60 year old boss, that's absolute bullshit and at the end of the day the people getting themselves in these situations DO know better, they just choose to ignore their conscience telling them it's a bad thing to do and follow their self-indulgent impulses. Listening to him brush over the situation and then focus on "I want, I want, I want", I don't think he truly regrets it and is effectively saying "I want the community to get over it so I can be popular again". Sad situation.

I like crypto I just will burn enemy shields if they try and push or if they camp break all traps what I like to do also is if I'm getting pushed I just throw my drone up above me doesn't matter if I'm in a building or in the open to get some scans and get an upper hand I think he still should have a passive though maybe something that has to do with when his drone is destroyed that person is marked or something to make up for his whole kit being down that long I like that you can get your team tags back and revive with the drone that makes him unique as long as you don't die while in it.

i think cryptos are really the most skilled in gun play because his abilities aren't really anything that you can use during a gunfight unless you're fine with EMPing yourself/your team.
I think his passive should be inherent as should all recons and change his passive to allow the drone to follow crypto like in mobile and if I'm not mistaken the range for his scan was less when it was following crypto
I seen him on worlds edge as champion recently. I was looking everywhere to try and kill him but he didn't land fragment apparently and must have went to hot zone and died after getting 2 wingman kills. :(
