    40:12 Before dropping m2,
    Let the height depressed from natural length be h1
    Now, m1g = kh1 ( At Equilibrium)
    h1 = m1g/k
    Now, m2 is dropped and the height depressed from natural length be h2
    At equilibrium position, (m1 + m2) g = kh2
    h2 = m1g/k + m2g/k
    h2 = h1 + m2g/k
    So the max displacement from mean position is h2 - h1 ( It is clearly evident if we draw the diagram)
    So, Amplitude, A = m2g/k
    And Time Period is T = 2π√[(m1+m2) /k]

    The amplitude is (M2)g/k
    The time period is 2π.sqrt{(M1+M2)/k}

    At 40 minutes 28 seconds
    First of all I calculate the equilibrium distance of block M1
    Can I calculate the equilibrium distance of the combined body of block M1 and M2
    The equilibrium position of block M1 will act as the mean position for the component system of the bodies and then I calculate the height difference between them and I took this as the amplitude of the combined body
    Means amplitude is equal to H2-h1
    Where H2 is the equilibrium position of the combined what is and H1 is the equilibrium position of the M1 block.

    40:00 answer for the question would be (m1+m2)g/k-m1g/k I calculated the mean position as mg=kh1 then (m1+m2)g= k h 2 then subtracted the 2 lengths . Can you clarify if this is correct thank you @Physics Galaxy

    at 42:00, in third case can anyone confirm Amplitude expression with mine?
    process i did, just like in case 1, A will be h0-h1 if we consider elongation ho after the addition of mass m2, so equation of motion now = (m1+m2)g=kh0, and A-h0-h1 now we substitute, am i right ashish sir?? or anybody?

    I have a doubt at 40:00 ,i mean H2 should act as the new mean ,so shm should take place about H2 ,H2 - H1 should not be the answer ,there should be an h3 that exist where the velocity becomes 0 and extention must be h3-h2. But how am I supposed to calculate h3? That's where my question lies.

      I am studying in class 11 jee main division of resonance but I never get good faculty of physics due to this reason my 11th physics totally destroyed but due to physics galaxy all concept and revision checklist I am covering fully physics and this time my physics is good condition and I am also solve all type of question of resonance sheets and this totally credit goes to you sir

    Sir amplitude of oscillation in 37.25 is m2g/k and time period of oscillation is 2 pie((m1+m2)/k^(1/2))

    Correct me if I'm wrong, I think there are two mistakes at 1:03:52, formula of shm of piston.
    Possibly in the formula there should be use of volume final and pressure final..?
