I'm from the same background to Jamie. Boarding school at 8 etc. The biggest problem I've seen in these schools, is emotions are not allowed. Stiff upper lip is taught as soon as you arrive. You're away from your family, you can't snitch (tell on people), snitching would result in social suicide at a young age. Kids in boarding schools feel very unsafe emotionally. It reaches you to bottle up or be resilient but the result is very damaging to the little child inside. A bunch of walls are put up to avoid and manage those feelings. Basically trapped child scared to be vulnerable

I worked with United Biscuits one of their youngest Salesmen which I loved. Met Sir Hector Laing who was a great guy. Now a Grandfather who buys Jamies Candy Kittens for my grandkids. Great video I always had a soft spot for Jamie and liked to watch him maybe because of UB and Sir Hector. UB were so far ahead of their time it was unbelievable.

Best of luck Jamie and well done for sticking with it.
I have been straggling with depersonalisation for over 14 years now and unfortunately I feel like I have gave up and everything is decaying around me.
Really hope everyone finds there calling in life as everyone deserves it.

Thank you for this amazing episode!
Hi, I'm Damian and I just wanted to say how much I needed to hear what was being discussed in this episode. It really, really resonated with me. I've only been listening for the last few weeks, but I really think there's some amazing content on this high performance podcast. You guys are doing a great job of sharing valuable insights and inspiring stories from successful people. I especially loved hearing from Jamie, who is an interesting entrepreneur and presenter. He was so honest and humble about his journey and his challenges. He gave me some practical tips on how to overcome self-doubt and pursue my goals with passion and purpose. I'm so grateful for this podcast and I hope you keep up the good work. Thank you!
I came across Jamie when he was in Made in Chelsea, but I didn't know his background stories. I knew a little bit about him, but I definitely understand the person a lot better now. He's such an inspiration and a great example of how to live a high performance life.
I also love the Joe Wicks and Richard Branson episodes. They were really, really good and motivating. I would love to also share my autobiography with you and your listeners, if that was ever possible. I think I have some valuable lessons to share from my own experiences and challenges. I hope you will consider it and let me know. Thank you!
