Hi Premir1 i though your next jet was going to be a G-V or hawker.it looks like its alot off work flying the MU2 nothing like your jet smooth from take off to landing, you also look more calm on your jet.good luck sir thnk you for your videos. PS i was trying too be funny about the hawker or G-V
Back in the early 80's I worked the line at a local airport while taking flying lessons. There was a Mitsubishi based there. Every time that plane returned from a trip the tower would ask the pilot to do a low level high speed fly by. Those were always interesting. It's a very fast airplane and also very loud. The runway is a little over 3,000 feet long and the pilot was good, he never had an issue with landing on that runway. The pilot was very cool person, it was a corporate plane. I had read some stuff about the airplane. No ailerons and rumors that there is a no mans land after rotation and before you hit a certain speed where if you lose an engine you will roll over and crash whether or not you are the next coming of Bob Hoover. I've read recently that the rumor really came about because you need special knowledge and skills to fly this airplane safely and there were accidents involving pilots who didn't understand the airplane. I'm pretty sure it's true that without the proper training this airplane will bite you hard in the ass and won't show mercy.
hpshiker In roughly 2008 the special training mandate was issued by the FAA. Since the implementation of that program, the MU2 is the safest turboprop flying.
John Demerse Depending on wind, you can go 1200nm or so....really about 4:15 flight time or so and the aircraft trues out slightly less than 300 knots.
+Premier 1 Driver Absolutely love you videos! You're doing a great thing for the aviation community. In this particular video are you flying the short-body MU-2? Is the 1200nm range a cruise of 300 kts for the short-body?
One of the most beautiful aircraft ever built (the long 'Marquise' version). Wish they were still building them today.
Thanks for posting. Love the MU-2
Probably the best 250+ hours of flight time in my log book. Love that plane.
Is the range good in that aircraft?
My dream machine.
Of all the aircraft you have flown, why is this the favorite? Short or long body?
performance and size and comfort in cabin. No other combo like it. Close is Merlin but it's 20 knots slower and burns 25 gph more

Marin Delgado I'd take either of those as my next jet!
Yeah as long as someone else is paying the fuel bills.
Smokie's Den And the SIC bills.
Can you advise which video camera you are using. Nice wide angle and really sharp ! Thanks.
Alan Zee I have two GoPro 3 silvers and I have one GoPro 3 Black that I film in 2.7K mode. All my editing is done in Final Cut Pro X

Great video! How far can you travel in this aircraft?

+Jake Thurner This is the long body. The short body will do 315 knots.
Thanks for along est 482.1 nm
