Could this be done without the buckle but using a single loop and a decorative stopper on the other end?

The first part with the cow hitches were so frustrating, but I got it. This is a really cool design, and I can't wait to finish it.
FINISHED IT! Took forever, but it's a great 1st try.

I'm at the double hitch right now. And IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS! 😂😅😂
I just started making this and have gone back and forth, and Back and Forth on the video. I'm taking a break rn because I wanted to either throw it out or throw my phone against the wall! 😠🤣🤣
But I'm going back to it now and try again. Wish me luck! 🤞

Even if the bracelet turns out a bit too big for your wrist, you could always use it on cold days when you're wearing a long-sleeved shirt under your jacket. Then, if you needed to put on or remove the bracelet, it would probably fit perfectly over the long inner sleeve, and under your bulkier clothing layer. A WINTER survival bracelet! ;^)

It may be primitive but I made a jig with a 2x4 about 16" long and 2 nails about 11" apart. Nothing fancy but it works. Good video. I'll give this one a try for certain.

I'm looking to make a dog collar in this design with black as the main colour (red accent). It needs to be 12" between the buckles, and I have 15' of black cord. Can anyone reassure me this will be enough to complete this, including the length of the initial core?

Made this bracelet from your awesome video here lastnight, used 15ft paracord like you, and ended up with roughly 5,2ft of waste (both sides combined) so tried finding out how much cord per inch of bracelet i really had to use and was hoping you could check if my calculation works or if im barkin' up the wrong tree :P
    15ft - 5.2ft = 9.8ft
Bracelet length: 8.46 inch (in my case + i tend to do the weave as tight as possible)
so for the basecolor (black in this case) 9.8ft / 8.46"= 1.15ft per inch for this particullar model of bracelet , does that seem correct to the rest of you guys & gals?
And the accent color (Orange in this case) i got the following for:
used 5ft as suggested in the video and got a waste of 1,6ft (both sides combined)
    5ft - 1,6ft = 3,4ft of actuall usage.
    3.4ft / 8,46" = 0,4ft
These numbers are for the actuall usage though, so some extra is needed to work with
(im really crap at math, hence why i ask here too if need to correct my thinkin')

Just completed this design for a 9.5 inch bracelet using 5/8 inch buckle (need 3/4 inch buckle for best fit). 1.16 ft of 550 cord per inch of bracelet (11ft cord) for main color, 0.4 ft of cord per inch (4 ft cord) accent color. Your calculations are good to go. Took me 3 times to get it correct as first two had numerous errors which affected appearance. I’m a slow learner!

One time i had the same buckles on the end, when i was done i was like hell yeah this looks mint! And it was female female fitting ! But when it comes out right, and you find a nice way to route the ends and heat them up and stick them together its satisfying

Finally figured it out. Omfg. I watched weavers of eternity do it on his Channel and it helped me more because he was using a jig and wasn't over zoomed in like this one. Its important to keep all your slack organized and pulled straight. Now both sides look the same. I guess im the only one that had this problem but if anybody runs into the same problem let me know. I will try to help.
