The first part with the cow hitches were so frustrating, but I got it. This is a really cool design, and I can't wait to finish it. FINISHED IT! Took forever, but it's a great 1st try.
I'm at the double hitch right now. And IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS! 😂😅😂 I just started making this and have gone back and forth, and Back and Forth on the video. I'm taking a break rn because I wanted to either throw it out or throw my phone against the wall! 😠🤣🤣 But I'm going back to it now and try again. Wish me luck! 🤞
Even if the bracelet turns out a bit too big for your wrist, you could always use it on cold days when you're wearing a long-sleeved shirt under your jacket. Then, if you needed to put on or remove the bracelet, it would probably fit perfectly over the long inner sleeve, and under your bulkier clothing layer. A WINTER survival bracelet! ;^)
Wow never thought id be up late entertaining myself with videos learning on how to twist a couple of strings into a bracelet but guess thats where lifes brought me ahahaha
I just made 1 with a 1/2 inch clips and the colors were lightening blue ,and turquois !! its so awesome!! cant wait for my next target that will take my attention and will make me made more beautiful bracelets!
It may be primitive but I made a jig with a 2x4 about 16" long and 2 nails about 11" apart. Nothing fancy but it works. Good video. I'll give this one a try for certain.
I'm looking to make a dog collar in this design with black as the main colour (red accent). It needs to be 12" between the buckles, and I have 15' of black cord. Can anyone reassure me this will be enough to complete this, including the length of the initial core?
I just have to tell you that your instructions are so understanding and precise! You have a pleasant voice and tone! You make it simple but very understandable, easy to follow! Thank you for that, and I love your channel by the way! 👍😉👍
If you don't have that needle tool, you can just bend a nail or a bobby pin into a hook like shape and just push it through the hole and hook the para cord and pull it through
Perfect! First time trying this style and it came out amazing. Your voice is perfect for this and your instructions were awesome. Made a dog collar out of black and rainbow.
EXCELLENT Demonstration VIDEO !!! I wondered how those were made. THANK YOU !!! Do you know how to tie a basket Chinese finger trap. (The electrical trade uses them as a strain relief to tether wires so they don't pull apart at a splice. )
Made this bracelet from your awesome video here lastnight, used 15ft paracord like you, and ended up with roughly 5,2ft of waste (both sides combined) so tried finding out how much cord per inch of bracelet i really had to use and was hoping you could check if my calculation works or if im barkin' up the wrong tree :P 15ft - 5.2ft = 9.8ft Bracelet length: 8.46 inch (in my case + i tend to do the weave as tight as possible) so for the basecolor (black in this case) 9.8ft / 8.46"= 1.15ft per inch for this particullar model of bracelet , does that seem correct to the rest of you guys & gals? And the accent color (Orange in this case) i got the following for: used 5ft as suggested in the video and got a waste of 1,6ft (both sides combined) 5ft - 1,6ft = 3,4ft of actuall usage. 3.4ft / 8,46" = 0,4ft These numbers are for the actuall usage though, so some extra is needed to work with (im really crap at math, hence why i ask here too if need to correct my thinkin')
I appreciate the math. I have a 10.5" wrist and most tutorials are for 6-8" wrists so I am constantly trying to figure out how much I need to use. Hope the back healed well.
Just completed this design for a 9.5 inch bracelet using 5/8 inch buckle (need 3/4 inch buckle for best fit). 1.16 ft of 550 cord per inch of bracelet (11ft cord) for main color, 0.4 ft of cord per inch (4 ft cord) accent color. Your calculations are good to go. Took me 3 times to get it correct as first two had numerous errors which affected appearance. I’m a slow learner!
Great vid. Once this is woven up, if I needed to use some of the cord, could the orange cord be extracted from the bracelet while leaving the rest of the bracelet intact with the green cord?
Love your videos. Just started out and i got a jig and it makes everything easier. Couple times ive went too fast and messed up and had to go back and fix it. One time i had the same buckles on the end, when i was done i was like hell yeah this looks mint! And it was female female fitting ! But when it comes out right, and you find a nice way to route the ends and heat them up and stick them together its satisfying
Love this design. Great instructions. Since you had those fids on there you could have buried the ends up the center of the braid. Just an idea. Thanks.
Finally figured it out. Omfg. I watched weavers of eternity do it on his Channel and it helped me more because he was using a jig and wasn't over zoomed in like this one. Its important to keep all your slack organized and pulled straight. Now both sides look the same. I guess im the only one that had this problem but if anybody runs into the same problem let me know. I will try to help.
I am a beginner and your tutorials are easy to follow. What is the name of the lighter you used with this project? Thanks for sharing your expertise. Margo
aren't they called "needles" in the catalogues? i have always seen "fid" refer to a tool that is more like an awl, or a marlinspike. calling a needle a fid confuses me. forgive me for being critical. thanks for teaching.
Thank you very much for this great video! i made this bracelet in black and red just now. and it looks awsome! thanks again, keep up the good work ! :)
Your videos are so easy to follow, thank you for making them painless to watch. I don't have to keep pausing and going back.

I just started doing paracord within the last couple months. I have learned so much from watching your videos!
Could this be done without the buckle but using a single loop and a decorative stopper on the other end?
The first part with the cow hitches were so frustrating, but I got it. This is a really cool design, and I can't wait to finish it.

Whether people at home have a jig or not you should use one for the video it makes the work easier to see
Turned out fantastic! 12ft 550 Camo/ 4.5ft 550 Florescent Orange. A little fat, but really sharp looking!
I just made 1 with a 1/2 inch clips and the colors were lightening blue ,and turquois !!

Great idea! Thanks. 😊
I made the same thing 😂 very good idea
Great! A new paracord bracelet design...It's COOL! Gotta make one :D
Yes
Kinda looks like a couple of side by side snake knots with another color lashing them together. I wonder if that could be done that way
How can you start it without using a buckle or clamp. I like an adjustable tie

A new one for me. Looks cool
I did this one the other day and it came out awesome!!! By far my favorite one.
Thanks so much for the video. Instead of making it into a bracelet, I'm making a watch strap. It's a beautiful pattern for it.
I just have to tell you that your instructions are so understanding and precise! You have a pleasant voice and tone! You make it simple but very understandable, easy to follow! Thank you for that, and I love your channel by the way! 👍😉👍
Excellent idea to show it without a jig ! Thanks !
5 years late to the vid but thank you wo much. I love this knot design.
Made this for the first time, took me a while to get it started, but It turned put awesome. This is my favorite bracelet so far!
Could you do this for a motorcycle get back whip?

Great video! Beautiful bracelet 😊. I’m heading to Facebook to find the group. Thank you 🙏
Made an all black paracord bracelet to pair with my gshock. Lost it, can't find it. So I'm going make a new one with this pattern.
GORGEOUS BUDDY 😅😮😂
Can you please tell me how to add three colors.
Perfect! First time trying this style and it came out amazing. Your voice is perfect for this and your instructions were awesome.
Made a dog collar out of black and rainbow.
Why don’t you list the supplies your using in your description? It would be very helpful
Buenos dias soy de colombia porque no anuncia las medidas que se van en ese brazalete
Where can you buy fids and jigs please?

Home with a busted back gives me too much time to kill, esp since im a workoholic : /

Thanks for doing the math, I actually wanted to make this for my dog... so the neck is a little wider than most wrists

Amazon has these in all kinds of sizes.

Lol I do goofy shit like that all the time if I rush. Especially during a brake job
What is the name of that lighter you used?
This may seem like a stupid question, but how do "survival bracelets" help you survive?
It’s an easy/stylish way to carry paracord, in an emergency you undo the bracelet and use the paracord for whatever kind of thing it may be needed for
Love this design. Great instructions. Since you had those fids on there you could have buried the ends up the center of the braid. Just an idea. Thanks.
Super nice pattern, I am gonna do it today. Thank you for all of your videos.
Is the pattern supposed to be identical on both sides? Mine looks good on top but looks different on the backside.
This is driving me nuts. It keeps looking even on top and then I flip it over and the patter looks wrong.
Finally figured it out. Omfg. I watched weavers of eternity do it on his Channel and it helped me more because he was using a jig and wasn't over zoomed in like this one. Love the design. Is it possible to make it into a dog collar?
Instead of 4 strands, can I work with 6 to make it broader?
I did and my dog loves it.
wrong vid. I used the fishtail belly but I'm sure it would look snazzy
That's a 5/8" buckle, isn't it?
Where to buy that cord?
do you have a hydro flask or water bottle so you can teach us how to make a water bottle paracord handle
Hi guys, I know not much English. What's dragon teeth? Is it a type of braid? Is it just a name he made up? Help me
I used this video to help me do a modified 3 color variant. thanks!
Hi there, how did you add the third color
how much cord am I going to need for an 8 inch wrist
Hey man can u make a design for a pouch kinda thing but an easy version as I'm going to be doing a summer fair soon and will be selling paracord items

+Timothy Gustafson 15ft emerald green, 4-5ft neon orange
12' and 4'
Very good explanation. Ended way too soon. Why don't you show how to end this?
What is the name of the rope
i think that you should front-load the matirials list
can you make this without a buckel

How much cord does this take?
I love this design. I'd like to use this design for my dogs' leashes and collars. Would the measuring be done the same way for the dog as a wrist?
Yes
Just much longer.
