The one time mr bean speaks coherently and he murders a man
I've been seeing you everywhere
Oh you have got to be kidding me
There's another one of you?!
You must be a cousin of Mr. Just some guy who has a moustache.
And mr.just some guy with eye brows

“I didn’t talk cause I didn’t need to.” BOOM
perfect flex
Only word he said a lot:
Bean
And there the battle was over
What about red from Pokémon
To be honest the flex loses a lot when you know Chaplin HATED voices in movies, that's why it took him more than 10 years to accept the idea of doing one.
Are we all sleeping on "You put your mum in a cell cuz she had none in her brain,"? That's a straight-up double homicide.
I fell out of my chair trying to rewind back to it so fast.
Lol

*sees bean’s second verse*
BEAN YOU’RE NOT MEANT TO MURDER HIM, IT’S A RAP BATTLE
Ikr🤣😂
Bean really took this whole rap battle like it's mortal Kombat.
and the soundtrack my god just made it more killer
When you take teddy away from bean:
Ironically this is really in character for him
"Now you're only getting Snickers when you sell out for commercials"
"Your style's like your Olympic cameo, one note"
Mad that Chaplin _still_ lost after roasts like that!
A boulder facing an avalanche
Both of them was amazing 👍
Step into the intriguing world where the playful fusion of Mr. Bean and Charlie Chaplin unfolds in your narrative. With an exciting sense of anticipation, I eagerly await the journey into your uniquely captivating perspective, discovering hidden gems that add a touch of mystery and charm to the shadows.
A testament to how solid the writing for the whole battle was (especially Bean's verses).
Honestly one of the best qualities of Freshly Kanal's rap battles are that they are fairly well written and it rarely feels like a character was given the short end of the stick.
Can we take a moment to appreciate that this man made the Mr Bean Cartoon theme into a beat, brilliant
Thank you haha
Yeah the music fire
Agree with that!
I didn’t even notice that
A real head-banging ear worm, that beat is!

I said, out loud, mind you “Wooooooow!”
Ouch
Calm down Mr. Bean
Yeah Mr Bean slew him with that one.
It's not fair to give Chaplin a water gun while giving Bean a literal rocket launcher
Mr. Bean didn’t even need a gun. He just beat Chaplin to death.
That wasn't a rocket launcher; Bean got hold of Nuclear Codes.
Chaplin's life choices loaded the weapon Bean fired, whatever the actual implement of verbal murder was.
More like a water ballon against a rocket

This legit felt like an ERB battle from both the writing and the visuals
An epic rap battle battle
Well I wouldn't really say that this battle is on par with ERB's visuals (because it isn't by a long shot, even though this looks good) but for the writing, I'd say it's close
1. No, not even close. 2. No, not even close
the thing with ERB is that their writing style is aimed at the general public and the geeks simultaneously, so it's not because they're more simple more than they're adaptive with their audience and also very flexible in their writing style.
I upped this comment and bumped it to say I agree. Yeah, it lacks SOME production value, but it's got a lot of heart. This was really good stuff, I hope you do more!

Aight, so here’s my serious review of this battle. So glad until I waited until the video for this one. This was incredible. Fel was a great Mr. Bean voice and it’s really cool seeing him do this role years after the Raps Through Time battle. Zawesome and Tibbs were fucking. HILARIOUS. The visual gags were ON POINT in this as I’d expect them. The beat slaps and is very fitting. Editing is really good and I’m glad you got to edit a live action battle for the first time in like forever. Also Greg looks SO good as Steve Irwin so serious hype for that. 9/10 but it gets a point off for stealing the win from GP’s battle how dare you rig the competition. 0:39 "you got a lady friend that you want to charm a lot" - is reffering to imra gobb, mr beans girlfriend
0:42 "but you could never slot your mini in her parking spot" - 1. mini is mr beans car 2. its an obvious sex joke, also an insult about mr bean's and imra's relationship

have the whole world get me" - mr bean didnt talk, because Atkinson wanted mr bean to be enjoyed by people of different languages

1:15 "The FBI would see you flee, 'cuz you liked them early in the bed" - chaplin dated young women in secret, because in the californian law having sex with someone who is 16 was considered statuary rape
1:18 "would it have hurt to have tried a turkey on your head instead?" - is a reference to an episode where mr bean puts a turkey on his head
1:23 "well then Chap, i must ask, why did you go throught all that effort to make fun of Hitler and then look in the mirror at your get up, thinking "uh i'll keep the mustache"" - is a reference to a movie chaplin made called the great dictator, where he makes fun of nationalism and Hitler
1:38 "Now you're only getting Snickeers, when you sell out for commercials" - is a reference to mr bean snickers commercials, where mr bean trains, its also may be a reference to how in Snickers comercials, a person gets a snickers bar
1:43 "your style like you Olympic comeo, one note" - is a reference to Olympic 2012, where mr bean was playing only one note the whole time
1:49 "the fact that you're somehow still alive? magic" - is refering to the fact that mr bean often gets into dangerous situations, like driving a car while being on the roof, or how mr bean was dressing up while driving
1:58 " after 30 years they should've left this bean canned" - is refering to the 30th anniversary of mr bean
2:08 "you put your mom in a cell cuz she had no brain" - is refering to how chaplins mother had severe shizophrenia and how she was put in an asylim, also it's a pun on the word braincell
2:12 "treat every women the same uhh.... mysoginism" - is refering to how chaplin would mentally abuse, neglect and not listen to his wives
2:19 - is a reference to a short where mr bean goes to the pool, wants to jump from the plank, but when he's almost jumps, he gets scared and tries to go back, but there were kids in the line so he tries to play cool and crawls to the end of the plank, were he holds to the plank with one arm and one of the kids stomps on mr beans arm, which results in him falling

if i missed something, write below

Matchup: First off the matchup is great, highly requested and you did it justice!
Acting: I think that both Zawesome and Mr Tibbs did a fantastic job representing these characters physically. I love how the physcial comedy is used in the battle. It comes off as natural and not forced. I also love the voice acting for both of them, fits characters very well and both are clear to hear and understand.
The background: I like the variety and how both represent each characters era, like how Chaplin’s is in black and white. Both backgrounds look really polished and clean. I also love the background details for the characters. Like for instance at 1:10 you can see Bean in the background look for Teddy and then when the foreground Bean finds Teddy, the background one points at it. Just one example of amazing detail!
Flow: I also like the movement in the battle, like when Bean goes thrice the cranks or Chaplin bumps into the camera and falls back. It makes the battle flow natural and have a good energy.
Props and costume: Costumes are excellent! I also like the physical use of props like the piano and Teddy. I also like some of the cgi elements and think they look good such as the globe.
Lyrics and beat: fits characters both well, I can tell that they are character specific! Beat is catchy and I love the old time feel!
Overall amazing job on the battle! This is probably one of my fan made favorite rap battles! I would love to help write one of these battles one day, but for now as a fan and viewer I’m excited to see the fantastic content you continue to produce!
For a moment i'm waiting hearing "MR BEAST!!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
0:25 is truly a masterpiece
Bean had so many good burns both verses I don't think he even needed that final line to win. The final line was just overkill lol
The way the announcer says “MR. BEAN” sounds suspiciously like the way he says “MR. BEAAAAAST”
mr breaaaaststtt!1!!
2:20 is it a reference to that one episode when he fell of the diving board?
What do you think, yes!
