Today I am having fun painting on a record for a friend of mine. If you are just starting out, this is a fun and inexpensive way to practice techniques and color combinations.
I gesso my record first and tape the hole on the back.

As I was watching all the beautiful colors appear, I could help but think of the music in the 60's coming out of San Francisco.
