im ALWAYS inspired by your hair tutorials as I wear them almost everyday! my friends in school are always so amazed by the designs that i have learned from you! im only a sophomore in high school but for prom, i would imagine wearing a shimmery pink with warm tones. thanks for all the advice!
I live in a small town so I wore a neutral color eye but with subtle undertones of color: pinks, golds, with different shades of brown, It came out like soft smokey eye. I tried false lashes and loved them!! They give a lot of POW! to my eyes, because I have squinty eyes. Thanks for the tips for too much eyeshadow! I love your tutorials on hair and make-up! They help me so much!! Thank You!!!
For my prom, I wore a silverish colored eyeshadow that was super sparkly, a light pink blush, and a coral colored lip gloss. I'd really love this brush kit because I've felt that I've needed some since I saw them, but have never been able to buy them for myself. Can't wait until your next tutorial!
I really like the colors you used in this prom tutorial. I like how you can either make it a soft look or a smokey look. For my prom this year, I wore a shimmery pearl color all over my lid with a little black to smoke out my outer eyes. Then I added a touch of royal blue with black to my lower eyes to kind of match my heels.

I've always found that one of the best approaches is the natural look. I'm not saying you shouldn't wear any makeup to prom - I myself wear makeup everyday. But don't cover up your beautiful face! You don't want your makeup to be a MASK, you want it to complement the natural beauty that you've already been given. That's why I like this video - it helps remind me that no matter how much makeup I wear, I will still be me

Good brushes are essential when applying make up, especially when your applying concealer i love the way your brushes blend it in smoothly, and gives you a flawless and matte finish.
For my prom i think a subtle neutral look will look best. I think this look brightens the eyes and is appropriate for any coloured dress
I had my prom last year and it was the perfect way to end my time in high school. Had so much fun! I did my own hair and makeup, and for prom, I bought my first eyeshadow pallet, & bought my first eye-liner and mascara haha. Besides foundation and blush, I did a simple smokey eye and winged the eye-liner luckily it didn't look terrible :D ! i've really gotten into loving makeup so a good brush set would be awesome! thanks for the tutorials!
I like how you created this kind of chic and mellow look for prom. Usually, everyone wants to be loud and notice by doing too much. Even though I can redo my prom, but I will definitely do for the upcoming wedding reception. Lol. Love the lip color!

I wore a similar look to my Sweethearts dance.. I love the pink in the crease!
I wasn't too big on makeup when I had my prom, but I went with thin black eye liner and just a neutral somewhat smokey eyeshadow. My big thing was mascara, and still is, I LOVE what it does to my eyes after two or three coats.

i simply love the pink eyeshadow :) a friend of mine did my prom makeup and she used a lot of browns and shimmer. i think it looked gorgeous :) so happy i was able to go to prom because i was an exchange student and only a sophomore but the dressing up and getting ready was soo much fun - and of course prom itself was great too ;)

I love the colors you used. Very feminine and pretty but with a pop! I'm so glad that you know how to blend the colors well because some people don't. For my prom i had a red dress so I did smokey eyes with kind of a neutral base. On a side note for everyone, fake lashes are they way to go for prom. They look AMAZING in pictures. I have been wanting a Sigma brush kit forever but every time I get some extra money saved up, something comes up. That's life though. Good luck everyone! :D

For my Prom i did a very smokey look with my Urban Decay Naked Pallete and paired it with subtly pinkish nude lips color and then with a gloss. It was loved by everyone and matched my dress well.

For my prom, i did a purple smokey eye. My dress was yellow, and surprisingly, it went very well together! I also did winged eyeliner, like you did in this video. Very pretty!

I love this makeup for prom but I want to do more of a retro Hollywood look for prom. I keep this in mind when i'm doing my friends makeup for prom.
for my junior prom .. it was at the queen mary in long beach, ca .. i wore a red halter dress.. my eyeshadow was a red glossy eyeshadow from MAC w/ a clear lip gloss.. i love your make up and hair videos.. i will be using the butterfly makeup tuturial for my daughter on halloween.. thanks!

I have not yet gone to prom but my sister had beautiful makeup!! She had a purple dress first of all and silver beads. With that she had a silver/grey smokey eye! It was gorg!!

I love this look simple and classic I love the way everything blends u make anything look beautiful ...for my prom 12yrs ago lol I did a very simple smokey look with gray and black and great hair style with a beautiful burgundy dress, when I saw this video i went back to my prom pics omg the yrs past so fast and I have change so much now I use more dramatic looks and much more makeup...:) I LOVE MAKEUP..

My prom dress was purple and pink floral, so my eye makeup complimented those colors. I used a rich pigmented purple and blended the harsh edges with a pink shimmery eye shadow. Then on the outside corners of my eyes, I used a charcoal color to add some dimension and definition!
I think that CORAL is the most beautiful colour, especially for spring would love a brush set matching that :)
For my Prom i wore a shimmery dark purple dress with thin black lace over the bodice, my make up was fresh but had tones of the same purple, i love your channel and all your video's keep up the good work, thank you xx
