Im 49 now.....took my twin sons to see this wen it 1st came to theaters. They were young teens @ the time. We laughed so hard. Couldnt believe how different/original this movie was.

I am not joking or exaggerating, there were warnings before this movie came out that it was R rated and not suitable for children, lol. I watched it opening day and some people didn’t listen. The highway scene and wen the guy hit the sign and turned into a Rorschach ink blot on the highway, at least 20 people stood up and walked out, lol. He is definitely super but not a hero. I also liked that y’all were one of the only people I’ve seen that understood the pistol round going through 3 people’s domes may not have had the kinetic energy to finish the job.
You really NEED to watch the X-Men, then the Wolverine and after Logan before you watch Deadpool and Wolverine movie to get the jist of all the puns etc of the D & W film otherwise you wont get the story.
You don't need to see a year or more worth (time it will take you) to watch X-Men and Marvel movies to enjoy these. You might not get all the references but you'll still enjoy them so have fun :)

Watch the xmen movies first. Deadpool is not its own thing. Its part of the Xmen franchise, and without seeing them first, you miss out on half the jokes.
