Thanks for clarifying that John, pun intended, have heard lots of contradicting ideas on the process. Initially i was setting fridge to final cold setting at fg, thinking crash meant crash. More recently have been taking it down gently over a week. Appreciate the on going education.
crack the air tight seal is all you need. An 1/8th turn on the lid does the job. Or just be clever like me and buy a fermenter with a lid that doesn't seal....no matter what you do....
Pronunciation is: l'froig (laphroiag) and eyeler (isla)...

John, It’s “La Froyg” and “eye-la”. That’s the best way I can spell them the way they sound.👍🏻🇬🇧🇦🇺
Yep, been pointed out a few times…
John when cold crashing do you worry about suck back, should I crack the lid slightly to prevent it.
