I love the Design of the Ships! And defensive capabiliities sounds interesting :)
Same! Looking forward to seeing them in action
They look very basic but very nice
same bu i would have liked that the XL was the flat one to stay in the orca style :)
I personally love the fact they have a specialized hold, freeing up the rig and low slots for mobility/ tank/ warp stabs.
All old haulers need an overhaul imo... those Upwell haulers are just 3x better and only downside is they can carry "structure stuff" and not everything
The main question is, can you solo these ships in a kestrel?
lol@@wearyterror9671
Time to call ccp kestrel
@@wearyterror9671😂 that's savage
I'm sorry ccp kestrel but I'll crack a joke at anything win lose or draw
These look gorgeous
These look super useful to smaller groups that want a mix of PvE and industry/salvaging. Look forward to using these. Also the presenter was amazing and I loved his voice (cute glasses too!)
If you have enough miners to need a dedicated freighter you also have enough drone dps on grid to take care of npc's... But yeah, those new haulers look fun.
BATTLE FREIGHTER?!
Hopefully cyno freighter too :)
BATTLE FREIGHTER!
With auto-targeting missiles bonus :)
Yep, a 'true' mobile missile platform. Right next to the ninja miner.
War Rig?
More options for the aspiring space nomad. Interesting times.
ima NEED ALL OF THESE NEW SHIPS OKAY!?!?
Best game 4ever.
“I have already won Eve. I have already won Eve. I have already won Eve.”
Ahhh... Yeah, I told myself that... But then I saw the freighter with missiles. I'm going to have to lose for at least a couple weeks in June, I think, before I go back to winning
Haulers with teeth. Nice!
Matches my industrialist with teeth play style perfectly. 👍
"enable to fight back and deter pirates"
LOL
deter, fight back, ha!
@@local9 "fc, horde fleet 4 jumps out." "how many?" "fc, about 400" "400? what they are in?" "fc..theyre in ... freighters"
Not player pirates. Just meant to fight back the NPC pirates that will be flying to the new infrastructure and pointing ships
@@Davidt1066 Make your Armed Merchantfleet dreams real.
These will definitely be seen as loot piñatas 🪅 🤣. Imagine trying to transport a keepstar and rigs. This is going to be a nightmare.
Ok, i was originally very underwhelmed with the idea of these ships, but I am now impressed and think they would make for an interesting addition to the game. I would still have preferred if we got empire faction [Light Freighters], which would essentially be Bowheads, but without the maintenance bays and half the cargo size of full freighters.
This is needed desperately.
I honestly want them to bring back empire faction mining ships.
@@MalevolentStudios as in regular ships with mining bonuses? or new, dedicated mining ships unique to each empire faction? what would make them different than ORE mining ships?
@@mazhiwezakizo3513 Dedicated ships/variations of current ships. For instance, ships like the Bantam and Osprey were once mining ships for Caldari but were reworked into being logistical support ships once ORE was introduced.
These all look GREAT! Roll on Equinox!
A Hauler that can fight back! It only took a decade for the game to figure it out! Getting there!
Ws after Ws, Keep it up!!
Kamakrazee War Rig!!!
Ships look great! AND they have ‘decent missile firepower’! I now have my new favorite bait hauler. Plus, I think this is the first freighter that can defend itself without just its hull.
Bowhead can fit some extra modules and freighters can switch low slots
@@Groza_Dallocort wait, bowhead doesn’t have only lows? I guess I just assumed it’s like all the other freighters.
@@astron800 think it got three mid slots so a MWD usually goes in one the mids
I'm still sad we got these before making a player version of the triglavian hauler hulls :(
What if....this is where those came from or Upwell drew their inspiration from 🤔
you realy copeing for more triglavian focused stuff lol. to me it looks like they wana forget them since the pochvan experiment gone down the drains.
Love it. It looks like this will help fill in some holes in the hauler line up. There was quite a gap between the big 'meta' jump ships costing 10B and the more day to day average users being left with cheap T1 ships, or limited in some ways with the T2 haulers. We figured it out, but it made logistics just that much more tedious for most players.
Oh, and a cloaky PI ship!!!! I bet that will be the most popular ship upgrade for many many players in Eve!
I might pick up the T1 hauler to get fitting resupplies on the front line stations on Faction Warfare. Very cool.
The ship aesthetics are *sick*!!!
I'm looking forward to the Equinox release. The design is really great o7
Torrent is my new PVP ship
I can see ppl trying to fit these for combat and looting, assuming they have enough EHP and slots. Also, are they shield or armor tanked?
Наконец-то новый интересный дизайн. Спасибо за труды.
Nothing like EVE! best of the best!
Very nice ship designs
If you’re already using a prompter you guys should really upload the CC on the video as well.
I haven't done much hauling, but those ships make me interested in hauling.
Will the existing haulers remain relevant?
If the new DST does everything the old ones do and has additional options and a massive extra multifunctional hold, aren't the old ones at risk of becoming obsolete?
Price will be a constraint for a time at least, but will it remain so?
These seem designed for PI/Upwell deployment and maintenance, not general cargo hauling, though I could be wrong. Let's see how they function once Equinox releases.
@@NyxDhark They can be designed with whatever intent the designers wish, they will be judged on the end product. The clips show them having cargo bays comparable to conventional haulers (approximately 25% less cargo bay with an identical fleet hangar for the DST) on top of their specialist bays.
The other specialist hauling ships don't come anywhere remotely near the same cargo bay as conventional haulers.
The clips also show them having better manoeuvrability than minmatar and 1,5x the warp speed of T1 haulers.
At a price slightly higher than a T1 cruiser like they were aiming for, I can hardly NOT recommend a noob use this to the exclusion of all else for everything under the sun that isn't literally a suicide mission.
Then there's the matter of fitting and tank. These ships are far more forgiving than their conventional equivalents, as they get enough fitting constraints to add on missiles. There's no rule that says you *have* to fit the missiles though, so you can get away with fitting them like a conventional hauler with much more fitting space to throw at it. Since in Highsec one of the key metrics for how much you can safely haul is EHP per ISK hauled, these new ships once again look to be coming out on top. There might even be a niche for using the missiles to deny people from ganking you with paperthin glass-cannon destroyers, which further drives up the cost to gank you, though this very much remains to be seen.
In short, from what we can glean from the clips, they appear to outperform conventional haulers on almost all metrics, not just their new roles.
Not to say they aren't cool as heck!
But y'know... spare a thought for the workhorses that risk being put out of business.
If they made a significant sacrifice to their cargo bay and fleet hangar I'd unequivocally welcome them with open arms.
(Hope some faction brings out armour and turret equivalents though. Shields get all the fun indy stuff.)
can we have some warp stabs that hold on to podlife like those buttons?
What about full cargo of Batteries and many Ancillary Shield Boosters?
Can it hold the ice products needed to make fuel blocks? Heavy Water, Liquid Ozone, Stront, etc.
can they haul Gas in the infrastructure holds?
"t1 cruiser dps" (shows 300 dps)
Still awesome, t1 hauler being able to push an interceptor off grid or kill a kestrel... XD
👍
New ships look really good.
Can they be equipped with tools for dismantling?
HOLY CRAP these will be so useful! FINALLY!
So do the question is, will these make the existing T2 haulers redundant?
Wow, totally unexpected... hauler in me is excited.
I hope they make a covert salvager frigate one day
Salvage in general need a overhaul.
I had no idea the Eve is Easy guy works at CCP! His voice sounded so familiar and then he appeared!
"Lovely Stuff" Not my words, Michael, the words of Shakin' Stevens.
The hauler and the avalanche freighter will be available to purchase on npc stations when the new expansion launches? Did I hear that right?
yes. Heard that too.
The Blueprints for them.
Whoot whoot! Freighter battles!
Those ships look like they could hold a LOT of torpedoes. Just saying.
All of the torpedos really
I will use them for battle instead. They seem dope af.
Thanks CCP. fantastic work
Can they go into hisec?
Whether the ships are shit or not. Once again, the art and design team hitting things for six!😊
Will there be an upwell shuttle ?
What do you guys think of the updog ships?
what's updog?!
@@davidd9707 nothing much, wbu
Ill be interested to see how Nomads will utilise the Torrent.
Good job ccp kestrel!
Why not integrating Upwell ships with the EDENCOM ones (and renaming everything in Upwell)?
this is going to be fun
Juhu finally it sounds like a meaningful offensive armament so hauler fleet?
Squeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaak!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That looks really cool! Good job guys!!
I wish I could log on SiSi and give them a go. The first haulers that could bring tears, muahahahahahaha
Imagine a fleet of these dropping on an unprepared gatecamp.
ooh very nice
mhmmm interesting, thank you
but can it move heavy water
Урааа, новые извращенные фиты боевых перевозчиков, я уже вижу как лечу в пвп на барже))
Wow ! Haulers who can defend themselves ! Rorqual is not the only industrial capable of killing targets its own size reliably
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
They will be ganked just as quick, firepower or not.
Looking awesome as always - the last notion remains to be proven ("[...]or haul the corpses of your over-confident victims, [...]") and made me giggle
the ships are automaticly better because suitonia is telling me about them! and what was that 329 rapid light dps ? caracal goes into retirment now
Wow!
Want new Mining ships
Am i missing something or those things are the size of a charon and have the hitpoints of a cruiser ? talk about fragile ! Also why would you make new ships like that and have them only able to carry infrastructore ?
Want! 🤩
COMBAT HAULERS
I haven’t played Eve in 6 months. Last time I logged in with my main and alts I was training for jump freighters.
Pretty cool
Nice.
bout dang time
Suitonia looks like he's turning into Gabe Newell
SPACE APE VANGUARD WANTS YOU!!
LOOKS COOL
i can imagine people pvping in this XD
Freighters for Ratting. Nice, lol.
Love the design and would love to get all of them but knowing the player driven market for the first 12-24 month they will cost 5-10 bill each and then price will drop. I mean it´s just recently the Khizriel droped down from 1-2bill to 500mill I mean fracking hell 1-2bill for a battle cruiser when faction battleships cost 800mill to a bill.
Also he says in the video designing the ship the wanted to make something for people that love hauling well why the frack do the have infrascture holds mostly and no nomal large cargo hols I mean what if I want to move boat load of loot or want to more my ore from null to high it means I would use the old hauler ships for that making the new hauling ships fracking useless for everything but move infrastructure crap.
Also CCP why not make new Upwell mining ships that fits the theme of these new hauling ships ? I mean we have the same T1 and T2 mining ships for decades now well expect the T2 mining frigates are like the newest ones. Common is it to much to ask for more ships design I don´t care if they have the same stats as the regular ships would be neat to have new ships to look at.
imagine getting dropped on by industrials 😂
Pretty neat ngnl.
freighter gameplay from back in the day, from a escort/attack point of view was always a good thing, i encourage any space interaction, it all seems to be timers, tidi, wh or faction warfare these days, miners in null is just sad, from a pirate pov , P.S. I havent sub'd for years and I dont intent too until ccp does more stuff for pirates. I think hillmar has ptsd from blackout, and thats sad.
Cool beans!
You mean I can't gank PI guys anymore? Ehh, I think I can test this theory.
Seems odd to me. I couldn't understand him that great. Did he mention a different kind of cargo bay or something? What problem in the game does this solve?
It feels like a reference to a lot of ships in the movie Prometheus.😂
Any new T3's? I love the Loki, but we need something new.
doubt ccp will introduce more t3 cruisers until they figure out how to fix them.
@@Jeff55369 They are perfect in every way already. :)
No one is talking about the potential MPI and PI market crashes. Pull out when you can guys. Make money when you still can.
PI stays the same. They are introducing new materials for these structures. If anything, I'm expecting a slight rise in PI prices - if these new structures will require PI materials to build.
@@nsmqac0118 I'm mostly concerned with the new Mineral supply oversupplying PI demand thus flooding markets with Minerals. Thus flooding the markets with excess PI. Thus thus market crash.
Neat o7

Screw battle venture doctrines, hauler doctrines are the new meme doctrine
Battle haulers when?
that looks like better orca
So from the look of it the Avalanche has a possible 1,000,000 m3 infrastructure hold with a 265,000 m3 cargo hold.
The big ship looks like a CPU heat sink
I guess these upgrades are a bit on the late side for Xetic. ;-)
Still waiting on that station walking
Squall being that sexy must be illegal.
And here when I heard it was an ORE ship I was hoping we'd get more mining ships. Woe...
So the most advanced industrial mining ships canonically have the power to desintegrate New York from the map with its defensive weapons
This is nicelly desgined 😂
