I was a Catholic until hundreds of priests and bishops were found to be pedophiles and that the church knew it and covered it up and still don’t want any to be imprisoned. I could not bear to be a Catholic after that. What is more evil than a pedophile priest. Two hundred in Boston alone. To top it off the priest isn’t even looking into why so many and not nearly that many in other Christian religion. Many pedophile priests live at the Vatican and are being “treated”. Just think they took holy communion. You have to be evil to do that and then rape children time after time. Priests should be allowed to marry and have children. Perhaps they don’t understand the love for a child.

since the first Jesuit pope took office, he has made it a synagogue of Satan. As revelations tells us, The roman church is the woman atop the beast. THE church, the body of Christ is those who believe in him and accept his salvation.
Benedict XVI saw firsthand the chaos during the last years of JPII and he was the one forced to face and attempt to clean up the mess when he took over.
He probably didn't want to rot while alive in office in front of the world like his predecessors did and it was a favor to his successor that he'd inherit a church that wasn't on autopilot.

Sad to hear the optimism and illusions of his early Papacy under the veneer of humility. Steffie Brzakovic, 78, of Cooma, received a call from her famous first cousin shortly after his election in a papal conclave in April.
It was the first time she had heard from him in more than 50 years.
Mrs. Brzakovic, who was raised in the southern Germany city of Weilheim before moving to Australia in 1956, said she remembered Joseph Ratzinger as a young boy who was often up to no good.
"He was everywhere he shouldn't [have] been, she recalled yesterday, shaking her head. "When I think today of what we did, it's a wonder that [we are] alive."
When she received the phone call three months ago she first thought it was a prank. It wasn't until His Holiness told her it was "Ratzinger Pepi", referring to his childhood nickname, that she realized who was on the other end.
"I said, 'Are you the Pope?' and he [replied]. 'But for you I am still Ratzinger Pepi'."
Mrs. Brzakovic was raised as a Roman Catholic, but became a Jehovah's Witness in the 1970's.
She said that while her religious differences with her family had caused frustration, the Pope had encouraged her for following her faith.

I find that it is irresponsible to ask of any person to fulfil a role “until you die”, but in reality, that is what is expected of you when you accept the role of the pontiff. Pope John Paul II was a dying man in the last years of his life and as such he was not capable of really fulfilling his role as Pope, and I believe that that is one of the main reasons why Pope Benedict decided to go, while the going was good. It's been 9 years since Pope Francis was selected to be the current successor of Saint Peter and the Vicar of Christ. Ever since he became Pope, some Catholic Christians see him in a negative way and see him as dangerous, misleading and potentially a wolf in sheep's clothing. But other Catholic Christians like myself see him as a inspirational role model of Christianity and gives out messages of hope and inspiration. One of my cousins used to be a Catholic Christian but he doesn't practice his faith anymore. The reason why he's not considered a practicing Catholic Christian, because of the sexual abuse scandals committed by priests and he doesn't think that Pope Francis will cleanse the church at all. But I disagree with him. And as much I like to convince him to renew his Catholic Christian faith, I'm not going to at all. Instead I'm going to pray for him that he does renew his Catholic Christian faith. Now I know that the Catholic Christian faith and church has been tainted and corrupt many times by previous Popes like Pope Alexander VI and others and some people have walked away from the faith but the Catholic Christian faith is a good religious system.
