The guy talking in the beginning of this video was saying how horrible it is that someone stole their virgin Mary, but this panting is just a pagan idol. The Bible says do Not create any graven image and therefore this a act of disobedience according to the very word of God. Also the Bible says there is no mediator between God and man only Christ Jesus and therefore Mary is not to be exonerated or worshiped in any way this is pagan false god symbol of worship. I had a pretty traditional religious upbringing but didn’t pass this on to my children (one of my hugest regrets). So no surprise that my grandchildren know virtually nothing about the Bible, Jesus etc etc. I pray daily for GOD to call my unsaved family to Jesus! ❤️🙏🏻
I understand your worries and anxieties. I have a young grandchild too and worry much about the world she'll grow up in. I also grew up in a traditionally conservative household and church and appreciate some of that upbringing but some of it had to be put aside. I have since that time changed my understanding of God and realize that fear was the main emotion in my religious upbringing. The Bible abounds with stories, psalms, proverbs, parables and more that express God's kind and gentle character which was something not ever mentioned in my upbringing. God is very patient and kind, very understanding too. Worry not about your family. They are in God's love and will realize that one day, when God's timetable dictates. Everything will be ok.
I grew up in a "religious" conservative post WW2 the American Dream white picket fence culture. Looking back at my bibacle exposure none of the teachings ever encompassed the spiritual world and the focus on the common Bible stories all learn but never expounded on or clarified any of the many unleft and unanswered questions. Everything was depicted like fantasy and story book and any pictures used left a unrealistic depiction. That by itself has caused me to search for the truth. This channel has been an answer to prayers.
And just because my parents invested in my religious education and were good role models, I still went off the rails. Many bad lifestyle choices, prison, drugs. I rebelled and sought out to numb my brain and not honor God. So don't beat yourself up to bad over your kids, can't pick up spilled milk.
Use the energy you have regretting it being a walking talking testament to God's grace. I'd start by explaining your regret to your kids and it's never to late.
Besides if you are a good role model they watch every bit as much as they listen and just your walk will plant seeds and hopefully inspire them.
I found prayer is very powerful.

Why do you see the Bible as irrelevant? It may be just one book but actually it's the foundation of Western civilization.
The scholarship for most of this is rather out of date, and the documentary is blatanlty biased, it relys on theaatrics and drama, the classroom videos from the 1990's are probably better for educational purposes, their more in line with the scholary discipline of their respective information.

If you’re interested to learn about Bible prophecy in a straightforward way, just read “The Great Controversy” by Ellen White. Also “Daniel and the Revelation” by Uriah Smith
The Bible has many prophecies that have been proven through history to have happened and I believe will happen in the future.
If anything, the books I mentioned are interesting reads.
