Glad your boat made it thru the storm.
Me too, I use to worry but not anymore shes full of foam and fairly cheap so....
Man i miss my skiff. Cant get into catfish anymore with the offshore boat. Catfish is one of my favorite spots sweet video
Thanks bud yeah that sand and oyster bar out front makes it tough
@@mattsnookman34224 that spot in my last video is the condos just before Ponce de León Park
Great video, your grandfather taught you well. You always catch something 👍
I wish I could go back and see what it was like when he got here in the 70s
Have you thought about putting a solar panel to charge your battery just curious
Yes I have a small one but when it rains for three days it can’t keep up. I had two bigger ones but something failed and it caught my battiers on fire. Biggest problem is the trolling motor. I just got a lithium battery so it will be easy to take off and on.
I heard parts of Charlotte got slammed with rain. Too much construction with nowhere for the water to go.
Yep it’s still flowing heavy
I've been wondering where the trout have been. I fish the Port Charlotte pier pretty much daily, and it's been pretty dead.
The upper harbor will get better in the winter. There’s plenty near the inter-coastal just not the monsters line days of old
That's good. It's getting boring. The big, nasty drum are stacked there at night, but finicky.
The trout were snapping around noon today (high tide). Caught 5 and kept 2.
