@@Gina2u2 LISS activities like this can be done daily because there's minimal stress and therefore minimal recovery. Strength training can be done 2-6 times/week as long as you don't lift the same muscle groups on consecutive days.
Hi from Newfoundland, Canada. I recently read an article about the differences between HIIT, MISS and MISS. I'm 54 and been noticing that stubborn fat is accumulating even though I workout regularly with weights and HIIT. I am naturally petite so I have been having difficulty finding a workout that is right for me. I am loving this so far. You are a sweetheart and bless you for your hard work with moms. I will definitely be adding LISS to my weekly workouts.
I know I risk sounding melodramatic but God led me to this workout when I prayed about my health. Not only what you do truly matters, but you matter even more to the Lord. Thank you for your dedication & service. God bless you & your lovely family!
this was a wonderful workout! would love some more LISS workouts. Love that there is no jumping involved so I can do it while kids are sleep and wont wake them up.
Thank you for this great workout! I noticed in my 30’s the high intensity workouts were not giving me the results I expected. Now, in my early 40’s I am finally listening to my body and doing more low intensity exercise and finally loosing weight.
I first heard of this idea back in the 80s with Kathy Smith. She called it the fat burning work out and it was all lower intensity for about 45 minutes. Now that I’m older, I have learned that especially if we’re stressed or not getting enough sleep in order to lower our cortisol levels we need to do this type of work out more often. I’m glad I found it today, it’s just what I needed. Thank you so much.
Ok ladies, listen. I’m 8 months postpartum and started with their mommy tummy fix and diastasis recti workout. I was doing HIIT workouts per usual as I had before pregnancy and I noticed my milk supply drop. I was bummed because I want to get closer to my old self but also maintain my supply. These liss workouts are a true life/milk saver! Try them I swear you’ll feel energized but won’t spend all of your milk making energy! This has quickly become my new favorite channel. First time doing a LISS workout and I found it invigorating. I did not have anything on to measure my heart rate but I was able to complete the whole workout with some modifications. Again my only suggestion is that you add a visual countdown clock with a three second countdown signal as it is hard to know how much more time is left to complete the exercise. Keep up the good work!

So glad I found this workout! I've been doing HIIT and wondering why I'm not losing weight. I'll see you every morningn until I hit my goal. Thanks for all the great info about heart rates.
I hadn't heard of LISS before, thank you for all the great information. Until now I thought I didn't need a heart rate monitor but now I'm motivated to go out and het one. I have a bad knee so I'm always looking for low intensity workouts that burn the max am out of fat. LISS is a great combination of what I am looking for.
Loved the workout! New sub here. Walking and jogging been hurting my knees. Just learned about LISS, enjoyed your routine and my heart stayed within the range as you suggested without getting short of breath but definitely getting my heart pumping. I travel for work, this is great workout inside my hotel room. Can’t wait to see other LISS workout. Thank you so much!!!!
Well, I am 76 and that kicked my butt, great workout. I have a tummy but it's because I am too fat, 5'2" 162 pounds, was 177 last year going down slow. Can't go as low as I should with squats, my body just won't do it. Thanks so much for all your great workouts. :)
Thank you for this doable exercises. I love it because it doesn’t cause any pain on my back. All your exercises helps me a lot especially the one for Sciatica. Thank you🥰😀😀
Will do this at home i never done cardio before looks perfect for my after office workouts love your channel sooooooooooo much love your exercises soooooooooooo much Thanks Ramya
I like this. This is something I can do everyday unlike high intensity interval training. Do you realise that this could be used for kids in school? I'm a teacher in Bangkok. I would also suggest 2 or 3 rounds with repeated exercises so its easier to remember and follow. Or a list of exercises to print. The timer on screen is a very good idea from above comment. Goodluck I can see this channel being a great success.
LISS is great for "skinny" people trying to build lean muscle without taxing the body too hard to where it just will not build that muscle. I also like LISS because as you mentioned, my RPE isn't at 8+ so it's very easy to not 'dread' it...which I don't really dread any workout, but there's definitely some days where you just don't feel like getting to that max RPE stage. You can actually focus on other things if you want to. For example, I did this workout staying in my 50-70% range and was watching football. Lol. Something I can't do when all I'm thinking about it trying to get enough air.
That means so much to me, Julie Ann! Thank you so much! I'm glad the things that I've shared have helped you and wish you continued success and health. Thanks again!
Thanks for the videos. I am confused. I am 53, are you supposed to do this workout on top of your total body workout for beginners or you do one each day?
I usually run/walk 3 days a week and total body strength train 3 days a week and take 2 days off. One of those days has a double workout. Today was supposed to be strength training but it is kinda humid and I’m just not feeling it. I did this instead in front of my fan! I got in a workout (lots of squats) but I’m not dying. Thanks!
How often would you recommend doing your LISS workouts? I'm looking to flatten my pooch but also enjoy more cardio and high intensity workouts as well. How often should I do both? Thanks for your workouts! I am so happy that I found them and loved what I've learned and the progress I've seen.

Would you recommend doing just LISS for a couple of weeks to lose the belly and then get back into my other workouts or just do LISS a couple of times during the week along with the other things I'm doing?
Thanks so much, Heidi! You may want to test yourself for a diastasis recti as that can cause that mommy pooch. Here is a video explaining what it is and how to test for it: ruclips.net/video/2sQWVVjxSoUv/видео.html
@@toneandtighten thank you for your feedback! I have checked myself for diastasis recti and I have a 1 finger gap, maybe a little less, especially above my belly button. I am doing your 21 day challenge as well for the second time :)

Nice, a true LISS workout one can do every day, even after lifting weights. Perfect for my needs. Just before I discovered your video, I checked a few other ones and many of them included several jumping exercises that definitely have no business being in a LISS workout so I was a bit confused lmao

Nice, a true LISS workout one can do every day, even after lifting weights. Perfect for my needs. Just before I discovered your video, I checked a few other ones and many of them included several jumping exercises that definitely have no business being in a LISS workout so I was a bit confused lmao
