It’s a story of a more mature love than the rest of the Bridgerton series, IMO. So it’s different, but every bit as good as the novels. I agree with others that the last minutes of the last episode were a wonder to behold: beautiful and heartbreaking.

I binge watched this the day it hit Netflix. And then binge watched it all over again the next day. I don’t think I will ever get tired of this. I absolutely love Bridgerton. But this one is my favorite. I hope they will keep it on Netflix forever because I will watch it again and again and again.
This story was so touching. The last few chapters were just perfect, and the last scene shattered me into a million pieces. Now I understand why the Queen always asked if the King had died in the first season of Brigherton. It's because of the fear of losing his beloved George.

Yea I think over time especially as he got older it got worse she was not only his mom but his protector from the public so they wouldn’t judge him and she most likely ran the country for him unless their eldest son was old enough to step up which means she was never really a mother to them
She becomes a care provider, which is critical component of unconditional love. In the end, she reconciles with her children by apologizing and emphasizing the need to keep their lineage alive.
I still have yet to finish the series. I suppose I’m delaying finishing it because there’s only two episodes left for me to watch and this made me tear up. I knew I was going to love this series but gosh does it hurt as well finishing it. Thank goodness I can always rewatch it

The final scene of Queen Charlotte in the ‘present time’ made me tear up. It was so heartfelt and sincere, it’s him and her, George and Charlotte.
