Loco Land they’re still doing the full song with most of the original dialogue in between on broadway. They just shortened it and changed some of the words for this performance
Brooke and Chloe are there. They just don't get any lines, like most of the cast that was there. That's what they have to do when they have basically a 3 minute segment with a minute intro.
They should of went with a diffrent song, and this isn't becuase of the censoring I'm fine with that but they removed alot of the song, More than Survive is the longest song in the show and they cut alot of the song out so they should of went a did a shorter song from the show like Pitiful Children or one that works shorten like Loser, Geek, Whatever More than Survive is 8 minutes in the oringal two river theatre cast recording (I looked up a video and the Broadway version is 9 minutes long) and they shortened it to 4 minutes while Pitiful Children is 4 minutes long so they chould of gone with that or they chould remove some of Loser, Geek, Whatever (which is 6 minutes long) to fit in the 4 minute limit

More Than Survive shows off almost the entire cast without giving away any spoilers. It's also a good example of what the show is about, a kid trying to survive high school. I predict this is what they'll preform if they're nominated for a Tony as well.
CoolConner 307 I know what you mean, but Pitiful Children is pretty spoiler heavy, Be More Chill and Loser, Geek, Whatever doesn’t exactly show off any of the characters except for Jeremy and the Squip, and the Cellphone Hour doesn’t show off the main cast, just the side characters. Again, I completely understand what you’re saying, but this is the only song that truest showcases everyone without being inappropriate for TV. (Because, let’s be real, Halloween Party would never be allowed on GMA)

I really hope some parent sees this production and thinks "this show seems family friendly, I could bring my kids to this". Then they bring their young kids and see the real lyrics in the show

I honestly love the changes to the lyrics they've made. I recognise that it would be hard performing it live and perhaps they are still rehearsing it but from a musician perspective the vocals and music weren't in time a lot of the time. Sometimes either one of them lagged and it felt obvious how the musicians were trying to be cued in by the vocals. I still love it but just wanted to recognise this as well. BMC 2019 can't wait to hear more.
