- Welcome back to Fly Shop Tour
Season 2 took place In October of 2023, we set across the Southeast on a 2000 Mile Road Trip, visiting & fishing with local Fly Shops. Our Mission? To highlight small businesses that drive the sport we love: Fly Fishing! Along the way, we got a chance to host meetups in every state - all with the goal to raise money for local conservation organizations & meet some of our fans.
This episode we make our way through Florida, where we stop in Key West, Marathon, Bonita Springs, and Sanibel Island.

That red made me smile for you!
239!!! Love it that you guys wrapped it up in my backyard and in our home waters! I kept wondering if 239 made it on the the tour. And Captains For Clean Water really are the GOATS here. They don’t get enough credit for how much they do for the fishing and the community here, and they’re too humble to admit that.
Funny how like every fly shop I’ve ever stopped at on vacation trips ended up on this tour. Brookings, Hunter Banks, Little River, Dodson. Fly shops truly are cornerstones of the community, and this tour reflected that.
Great job guys! This was fun. Really made me proud and excited to go see all the other shops I haven’t been to and I can’t wait to see the next tour!
What another amazing journey, Thank You!
As a native Texas who has recently moved to New Hampshire… Texas… OR Mass., NH, and Maine
As some others have said, the Northeast, particularly Northern N.E., would be awesome to see. Maine is possibly the best fishing in the northeast, if I'm being honest. From salt to fresh water, there's a lot to discover, and the fishing pressure is wayyyy lower than many other states on the eastern seaboard. But, while you're on your way there, the upper Delaware should never be overlooked! Excellent, albeit technical, dry-fly fishing during the day and mousing for big browns at night. If you can get away from some of the more crowded areas, you can really picture the Catskill's deep seated fly-fishing history. It's almost hard to imagine such natural beauty in a place so close to the biggest city in the country. Anyways, awesome series so far, and I look forward to your next adventures, regardless of where you're going!
Great series! Thanks for taking us along again. Looking forward to season three.
Great series guys. Can’t wait for next season. Would love to see the Northeast. From the upper Delaware in NY to Vermont, NEw Hampshire and Maine.
Just commented the same thing. It’s the only correct next step 😂
awesome episode! Harold crushed this
Excellent series. We need more! 👊🏼
Shoulda stopped at The Compound in Sarasota!
I think for your next tour, you guys should hit the northeast!!
PA: Musky, SMB, wild browns, native brooks
NY: Wild browns, native brooks, salmon (debatable lol)
VT/NH: do i even need to explain lol
MA: Stripers
ME: Atlantic salmon, native brooks, arctic char (rare, but possible), stripers
I mean… come on. Just so much fly fishing history. How could you not??
Awesome edit guys! Love the content 🙏😎
great episode !!!
Dope video! Good company!! New Sub here!
Great video but I swear that “dip our toes in something sacred” Line is directly from Oliver in YETIs thousand cast video lol
Great job! If you make it back to North Carolina check out 828 flies, it’s the 239 version of a mountain fly shop.
Next trip gotta stop by the mosquito lagoon in new Smyrna beach would be awesome to have you guys check out our back yard 🙌🏼
ANGLING COMPANY IS THE BEST FLY SHOP IN THE ENTIRE WORLD I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS THEY ARE NO.1
Great job by all! Unfortunately the long wait begins for season 3. As first commenter I would like Ontario to be added next year.
Great tour of the south east. Maybe check out the north east next, visit the Orvis co. etc.
Check out Old City Fly Shop in St. Augustine FL. Great place, with cool people.
Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas
Visit red fly shop or trout water on the yakima in WA
Pacific Northwest needs to be a Tour, north Idaho, Yakima canyon, deschutes river, rogue river.
I agree!! PNW + Sierras OR the Northeast
Do the north east
👀
Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa
Little drift less action would be niche, but pretty cool
Pacific coast and get lost in the Spey
10K gift cards coming your way!
Midwest season 3 come chase musky, small mouth, salmon, steelhead, trout.
