I JUST saw this concert for the first time ever tonight, and I am officially BLOWN away! This truly is a once in a life time experience, i wont forget it! Videos truly cant compare to the physical experience of witnessing this concert, I'm in awe at the power and beauty of this band's music
It’s less than $100 to see them live, and they play everywhere. I wouldn’t say it’s an “once in a lifetime experience” lol

Saw this great show in Spokane, WA this year. I appreciate the continuing evolution of TSO. The show was freshened up. Definitely appreciate that it isn't exactly the same every year. The music and light show are works of art. The level of individual and group talent on this stage is way over the top.

At the Atlanta concert not long ago. We had second row it was the best. Third time we’ve gone❤. Hands down best group ever. They came down to the floor and got a picture with two of them and our daughter 🥰 she’s 3 and was smitten lol

@@skyseasun_333 I think its the venue that makes the biggest difference. I saw them twice in an arena and would agree garbage sounded like shit. But then I saw them in a theatre and wow incredible. Ive seen them 4 times in a theatre all great, 3 christmas shows, 1 was all their classical stuff.
@@sabres685 Johnny Lee Middleton looked absolutely exhausted for the entire show... looked like all the performers and band were just going through the motions. It looked like Christmas meets hell! Dancing girls...??? Didn't care for that. Just looked and sounded like a giant, two hour commercial. I've been to 3 Savatage shows all with Christopher Oliva... Awesome!!!

Saw them today in Tampa, FL (2:30 show). Third time seeing TSO (in their home town !!!). They put on a truly spectacular show. They never disappoint.
I almost booked a flight to come see them there until I saw all the cancellations at the airport. I missed the show here from a hailstorm and it broke my heart. I’m so happy you got to go and have a great experience

Great capture of the whole show, and excellent video/sound quality! I saw the East band in Wilkes-Barre and they were phenomenal!!! While the East band is my favorite, West is really phenomenal too! This is the one of the best shows I’ve seen from the West band, very impressed. The crowd at this specific performance sounds amazing, so lively!
Please tell me which this is east or west so I know how to book next year

Chicago dont rate. Dec 28. Common Christmas is over. Hell of a show even in the nose bleed seats. I must say they rock and visually mabey thd best concert I have ever seen . You can feel the heat from the flames.

TSO 2011 at the Delta Center. Fantastic concert.
My only regret was my choice of companions.
I wish they'd played more Savatage though. Truthfully, I was just thrilled to be there.
I have pictures/vids from that concert too! They aren't as good as this one and are just short clips and some pictures. I do remember it was on 12/28 and thought it was strange having Christmas music after Christmas.
I hope someday we’ll get one last Savatage album and tour.
The heat coming off that finale must have been incredible. You don't realize if you've never been in proximity of one of those flame throwers but those things are HOT and that heat carries a long way
I didn’t go to a concert this year but last year around Christmas I saw them in Houston(Toyota center)and during their Christmas attic tour I saw them in New Orleans(smoothie king center)
also it’s not a full show if u cut off the beginning of the snow came down

I so wanted to see TSO this year, but unfortunately its no longer feasible to afford the tickets for such activities....Social Security simply doesn't care about such things.
Yep I had tickets and we had a hailstorm so we didn’t get to go. No refunds which I understand. I’m just too old to drive in that weather so I missed the show and lost the money. There were many seats not that expensive on a fixed income if you just buy early before they are gone . All the comments I have seen say sit up higher so you can see the show better . Best wishes and I hope we both get to go next year

Front and center, how awesome. Unfortunately TSO chooses not to put the musicians on the big screens, instead opting for a bunch of spinny computer graphics. I'd like to see that change. Other bands use the big screens much better for the benefit of those not sitting in the front rows. They're loaded with great looking guys and gals, why not show them?
it's supposed to be a show, not just a bunch of personal performances.
@@squish5740 Try sitting anywhere besides the front of the stage and you'll never have a clue what any of these people look like. It's an easy fix is what I'm saying. I think they're behind the times. Or you can watch them on YT lol
@@eric_in_floridathat’s not what Paul O’Neill wanted. Tinkering with his formula would not be conducive to his vision, at least since he’s not around to do the tinkering. Other bands are cookie cutter with respect for how they use big screens.

Usually love their show. But the soundtrack is so cluttered up with someone talking over the singer around 11 minutes in and onward, and the crowd's shouts, that I'm out after the first 12 minutes. Better luck next year.

Worst thing about this show now is how “trendy” it’s become. You get some of the biggest douche’s going to the show “just because they’re in town.” And SLC is very well known for douche’s…

Every show I've been to I see some very old folks there and I can't help but wonder if they know what they're in for. It can be very loud. Saw a couple near us walk out after about 2 songs too.
Hehehe....I'm one of those 'old folks' and we have been listening to loud rock n roll for decades!@@eric_in_florida
