    Ok, so what if you took all the partial photos zoomed in and will need to resize and reposition them to get this lineup? Is there a simple way to do that?

      Probably not more than 50mm since the Sun is pretty "distant" in the images.

    Thank you sir for the tutorial. What is the best focal length (on FF) to capture the wide composite shot?

      It depends on what kind of photo you want and where you are located. Find out how high the sun/moon will be at your location, see how that compares to the field of view of your lens.
