Matt, your video is excellent. I really appreciate that you explain different ways to load images: from LR classic, from LR cloud, from Bridge. I watched other videos and got stuck at this point. I’ve made my first eclipse composite and look forward to making more!

Thanks for the video Matt. I have a problem that I'm sure you can help with. At 7:30 in your video you start using the smart object. I would like to do this but my photos of the various exposures are not located in the dead center and PS cannot align them. How do I center the photos so that they are in exact alignment with each other?

Thanks for another great video. I'm been struggling trying to make a composite of the Baily's Beads leading up to totality. Any chance of making a video on that? Thanks again.

This was so great. It looks like you either tracked the eclipse or did the alignment of your totality shots? I need to align mine prior to trying this composite in Ps Elements 12. I've brought in "smart objects", but have always simplified. I hope to find these same capabilities. Unfortunately, I forgot to take off my solar filter in 2017, so yesterday were my first captured totality shots. I'm excited!

Terrific video! How do you remove black (sky) backgrounds in order to place the sequence over another sky. Thx.

Hi. You’d have to use masking tools in Photoshop

Great stuff man. I suggest a redo with the actual totality image. The top left is still showing sun.

I have tried multiple times to load my stack of images. Each time I get this message. Documents must be saved before they can be merged. I am primarily a Lightroom Classic user and have no idea how to get past this problem. Help???

Hey Matt, what is the title of the older video from the previous eclipse that you mentioned regarding creating a composite in Lightroom?
