The only negative I see is the hotels bars and restaurants downtown might suffer a little transportation would have to be more upscale and convenient for the public
A dome would be nice then there could be other events held there and possible Super bowl games which could bring extra money to the area. It's just the logistics of the location and what has to be done.We shall see what happens that's for sure
As a pilot/aviation enthusiast I can confirm if you build a stadium that close to Cleveland Hopkins international airport there will be issues with the FAA.
Browns Senior VP of Communications Peter-John Baptiste on searching for a new Brownos stadium: “We've been clear on how complex future stadium planning can be. One certainty is our commitment to greatly improving our fan experience while also creating a transformative and lasting impact to benefit all of Northeast Ohio.We understand the magnitude of opportunity with a stadium project intent on driving more large-scale events to our region and are methodically looking at every possibility. We appreciate the collaborative process with the City of Cleveland and the leadership of Mayor Bibb in analyzing the landbridge and renovating the current stadium. At the same time, as part of our comprehensive planning efforts, we are also studying other potential stadium options in Northeast Ohio at various additional sites. There is still plenty of work to do and diligence to process before a long term stadium solution is determined and will share further updates at the appropriate time.”
For me its more location than dome or no dome. Well i live in Lakewood and the convenience of me walking to the 117th st station, takin the red line rapid downtown, no hassle with parking, i just feel like its going to be NOT so simple for me if they move to Brook Park unless they modify the line to stop near the stadium on its way to the airport. But the Browns do deserve better so im onboard with whatever they decide
Hell no to dome been to 40 games for the browns love the lake effect and yes I go to games in Dec .. Stay downtown!!!!!! Also we drive 3 hrs away so downtown gives us stuff to do all night! N.
Browns stadium news: - Haslams Sports Group has a contract to buy 176 acres next to Hopkins International Airport - New location is 10 miles from downtown - Team’s lease at Cleveland Browns stadium runs through 2028
Two words selfishness, and catalyst. Come on all of us who are upper 40s, 50s and older. We've had our time. We've had the Browns for a long time. The Browns have been around since the 40s. We've had a stadium outdoor. We've had the elements we've had exactly what we wanted and they still never won a super bowl, we lost a Browns. We fought to get them back. We got another outdoor stadium. We've got what we want now. It's time to let the next generation have a dome stadium in Brook Park,.. where we can use the stadium all year round and bring revenue to the city and maybe that will act as a catalyst to spark the browns to win super bowls. Change of venue change of area change of attitude. It's exciting. I'm all for it! Football dome and Brook Park. Let's go!!!
The Browns need a dome. It would be a much much better game experience in a dome. You could take off your winter coat and relax while outside it's freezing. It would be nice to not have to freeze your ass off or get cold AND wet in freezing rain. Not too mention the restaurants and batting cages. It would be an amazing experience all at 72°. I think if the Browns are going to get the marquee players that attracts other marquee players to build championships a dome is a great incentive. But it would have to be downtown by the baseball and basketball stadiums. Either way it's going to be a huge project.
Retractable dome. Sale land next to Hopkins airport to Hopkins. Hopkins expands and takes on Burke airport. Browns buy Burke airport use that land to build new stadium on. The spot that the stadium is on now build a large hotel. Boom
That lake spot is so historic and iconic, I'll be so mad & disappointed in them if they do that. Also no dome, we used to brag about how much tougher we were for not playing in a dome.
Only a dome and only downtown. If the Mayor and council have any brains they’ll keep it downtown for the sake of the city and all the businesses. #browns
Make the move, build the dome. USC can fly in from LA and play the Buckeyes, how about hosting a BIG 10 Championship. Possibilities are endless with a dome. We could actually drive to the stadium and park within a short walk to a Browns game. New Years Eve rock concert. Build it Jimmy.
😂 insane. Lets miss out on a bunch of tax revenue and entertainment events because of “tradition” the same tradition isn’t even been good since 99’. Build a new stadium with a dome. No reason fans should suffer in negative degree weather just to support their favorite team.
A dome makes the facility useful the whole year. It keeps fans comfortable and keeps weather from affecting the game's outcome. We'd also get to host large events like the Superbowl.
Please give us a dome so we can use it for other events throughout the year. I have no interest in sitting in the elements. As far as downtown goes I’m all good with the airport area. Cleveland is a small city and having somewhere to park 10min from downtown works for me. The lack of development around the current stadium is a joke.
Good call , it's completely political . Move out down the street and see how the city council reacts. Art Modell wanted one and they said No. Can't really blame him if you're a business person .
Remember to coliseum, 😊It was in a suburbs and soon as cave's left they tore down a immediately, I think it's a tub within the suburbs outbuy airport for a norse. How would you be able to announce a game? So much air traffic, what a stupid idea. In a city of cleaning, if you want a prosper, you need to build them a stadium with a doll on. It's not like you're not going to benefit from it. Do I have to tell you everything you have enough experience? S you've been through this before. The bowl for you should stop making a nuisance of each other bye. !
Old school grass outdoor 3 yards and a cloud of dust in your face football! In downtown Cleveland! Right there on the lake front, Cleveland is a hard-nosed blue collar city. We don't want preppies yuppies going to a football game because it's the ""event of the night honey''" what would you like to do darling with a glass of wine in your hand? I know let's go to the football stadium and have crumpets and tea!"" You're right darling. Let's do that! Honey snuggle snuggle snuggle:;🤮 it's not a social event. It's a hard-nosed, rough and tough in your face football. Go to a Taylor Swift show. If you want to go to an event, go to the Cleveland theater if you want to go to an event! We want hard nose, blue collar football in an open stadium on dirt and mud!
The Browns are more than Cleveland. All the city of Cleveland really is, is Yuppie’s in the old warehouse district. The poor in the innercity and East Cleveland, and college kids that go to cwru, csu and tri c. These aren’t the fanbase. The fanbase is NE Ohio
I say downtown. Cleveland wouldnt be Cleveland with them in a suburbs like the whole idea is dumb asf i csnt believe how many dont care about that and o ly care about putting a dome on top its sad yall aint real fans

Suburbs and a dome would be Awesome. May would bring a Super Bowl.
Mando should move their plant to Brook Park also. 😅
BUILD THAT DOME! It makes WAY too much sense and I know they don’t wanna miss out on those extra opportunities
I wondered why this has been bulldozed recently. Build it and put a dome on it. This area has the infrastructure to handle it. Great idea!
Dome will bring new sports and events to the area
Yes, Dome in the Burbs!
Dome HELL YEA !!!!! Could have Super Bowl !!!!! 🏈
DEFINITELY!
The only negative I see is the hotels bars and restaurants downtown might suffer a little transportation would have to be more upscale and convenient for the public
Retractable dome
DOME 💯💯 It doesn't give us any" so called Advantage "
For the ones that say no dome are the ones that’ll stay at their house than go to the game during winter. Put a roof on that thing.
cry more
If you build it, they will come!
A dome would be nice then there could be other events held there and possible Super bowl games which could bring extra money to the area. It's just the logistics of the location and what has to be done.We shall see what happens that's for sure
we need a dome time to say goodbye to that ice box
As a pilot/aviation enthusiast I can confirm if you build a stadium that close to Cleveland Hopkins international airport there will be issues with the FAA.
Dome it baby
The build you talked about sounds nice but traffic will be just as bad if not worse

You don't buy 176 acres for leverage. Give me a dome in Brookpark.
Absolutely Y who in the hell wants to sit in expensive seats in fridges weather
If they are building a whole new stadium OUT of the city, they can atleast put a damn dome on it
yep makes sense
Yes to the dome!

Browns news and rumors is the backbone of this great nation. Join: ruclips.net/user/brownsreport
Since the airport has a Rapid link a new stadium would be able to use it so that would be a transit option.
Indoor stadium in the burbs...can get it done by the time the lease is up, but need to move quickly
I'll stay get a Dome but keep the stadium downtown thou so don't have to drive far 😊
Do you want a dome stadium? Yes or No
yes takes me 3 hours to get home its a joke down town
Hell no to dome been to 40 games for the browns love the lake effect and yes I go to games in Dec .. Stay downtown!!!!!! Also we drive 3 hrs away so downtown gives us stuff to do all night! N.

Jimmy needs to just go for it and build his own version of Jerry's world in Brook Park
I'm excited to get a new stadium weather it is by the lake or airport. We need a roof. And this allows us to make $$ and help the economy

5 of clubs
No dome, we haven't had one and I remember the roof collapse of the Viking stadium
Why hasnt Burke Airport been torn down yet to really open the lakefront for hotels and access to the lake?
Hit up Petey any time over on Twitter/X: twitter.com/MatthewPetey
Saw how the parking is when visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, you have to park quite a ways
Retractable dome, please!
Maybe you’re too young to remember the Cavs playing at the Richfield Coliseum. People from outside the city appreciate not having to go downtown.
NO DOME. Keep the stadium downtown
😂 insane. Lets miss out on a bunch of tax revenue and entertainment events because of “tradition” the same tradition isn’t even been good since 99’. Build a new stadium with a dome. No reason fans should suffer in negative degree weather just to support their favorite team.

Not bad
Air travel an lights will not matter if it's a dome stadium. 👍
There are lots of places to go before or after game i dont agree
Whoever has the dome!
I always thought Macedonia would be a great area for a stadium,Its between Akron and Cleveland ,easy to get to
There isn’t anywhere to put a stadium in Macedonia…
Economically it will hurt biz in cleveland
Build a retractable dome down town

Hearts of 9
Bout time
It’s like Richfield Coliseum all over again…go to the suburbs…it will work
Make sure they put a dome over the new stadium.
Be smart to put a dome on. We will never get to host a Super Bowl without one!!
Build a dome Haslam.
Both
Good call , it's completely political . Move out down the street and see how the city council reacts. Art Modell wanted one and they said No. Can't really blame him if you're a business person .

NO DOME!!! Cleveland isn't a dome city!!!
Suburb. Dome.
Have we forgotten the Nick Millettie disaster known as the Richfield Coliseum? Stay downtown.
