Great video I’m all caught up with your videos and enjoyed listening and stitching along. Love all your beautiful 🤩 projects. Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Love your Patriotic display, Autumn Rules will look great on the board when it's time to switch. Enjoy your girls & all the fun activities this weekend.
I live in Southwest Arkansas, we do not have those kind of grasshoppers here. I loved your roadside sandwich story, I have never heard of that. I struggle at eating at church potlucks. Thanks for another great video. Janine
As always, I love hearing your stories! I have seen various organizations such as Lions, Rotary, etc who have a small trailer serving coffee and doughnuts at rest stops, but don’t remember seeing any serving food such as sandwiches! My husband won’t eat anything at parties, or even attend pot lucks as he doesn’t know what is in the food, or how and where it was prepared. Sounds liike you have a busy week in store, with lots of fun! It s nice ofyou to help out family doing laundry, cleaning, and such! Hope all goes well! I love my Friday visits with you!
It seems like you are a very giving person. Service and love to your fellow man is the 2 great commandment. You are not old at least you don’t look old. I’m 70 which is older. I love that my 4 children love each other. It always sounds like family is so important to you also. I love your floss tube and give your daddy a big hug from Lorraine. I sure miss my daddy he’s been gone over twenty years. If I could get there from Idaho, I would hug him myself.
We would have service clubs that would offer coffee and donuts at road side rest stops. Have all the fun with your family. Can't wait to hear all about it.
Hello I just found your videos and I enjoyed watching I'm going to start at the beginning videos so it will take a while to catch up lol Sending you big Toni hugs from the UK 🇬🇧❤️
Great video! I'm so happy that you'll have the girls with you for a few days. I can't wait to hear all about the fun things you'll do next week. Love your WIP's. Have a great week and happy stitching!
No, girl! We did NOT eat any roadside sandwiches. We did pack our own ice chests for our 5 hour drive to “the City” to see mama’s folks. We had hotdog buns, wienies, a loaf of light bread (that’s named brand, if you don’t know, Sunbeam in fancier circles), bologna, and a gallon of koolaid in the old milk jug. Sometimes we’d have a sleeve of saltines and a can of viennes (Vienna sausages). Gourmet, all the way. Oh, I forgot the miracle whip.
I remember pulling over at roadside picnic tables and eating our own packed lunch but truthfully I don't even remember rest stops when I was a kid. Now they will have coffee you can get at rest areas during the 3 day holiday weekends. I don't think they have food though. If you use local honey it's supposed to help with allergies. I'm not crazy about honey either, but not for the reason you don't like it! I had no clue about that. 😅
We would stop at rest stops on holiday weekends and get coffee and cookies in Michigan. They didn't have sandwiches. My uncle use to grow soybeans in his fields. I never understood why? I guess the animals eat soybeans. Have a great week!
Food at rest stops is (was) a real thing. We never sampled it because a) my mama always packed food for our 9-hour drive from Albuquerque to Ardmore, OK, and b) my daddy stopped for gas and that’s all he stopped for no matter how much we begged. I don’t know about Rotary, but there were Good Sam (Samaritan) clubs that offered free coffee and donuts.
😂 Oh, I knew where you were going with this before you even got through the story about the Rotary Club and sandwiches. I live in Oklahoma, I know they used to serve coffee and doughnuts/snacks in the rest areas for travelers to keep them from getting too tired. Now that rest area has been closed on I-40 right before exit 200. Back then the state was required to have the rest stops but so many business have popped up at the exits it’s not as critical now (at least here you don’t go 100 miles without a bathroom).
We are not big on potluck dinners at work because people are nasty. My husband was eating some salsa and a coworker told him you know that is full of cat hair! He loved that salsa until he looked closely and it was full of cat hair! 🤢They said they generally throw it out when the lady is not looking to save her feelings.
I saw that if you take the big black garbage bags and lays them across the top of the water the sun will heat the water. No clue if it actually works though.
Hi Friend, Hope your Summer is going well. Love your display behind you. I took a social media break so I am catching up on videos too! Are you going to Stitch North in October? I would love to go. I am nervous about going all the way to Canada though! lol
Niecie I’ve tried to let you know I won the Merry Christmas pattern, I know if it went thru. LINDA NORRIS 258 Forest Dr., SPRINGFIELD, OHIO 45505…….thank you
Niecie, come on now. If you can eat a shrimp, you can eat a fig. Don’t deny yourself those fig newtons. If it helps, start calling them shrimp newtons, then you can continue eating them🤣
Also, and yes,I’m in ‘too much Charles’ mode, the FDA allows for a certain proportion of insect content in food. Cereal and produce are the main categories. You are eating insects almost daily!😳🤣
Happy birthday to your father. Enjoy celebrating his special day with him.
Always fun catching up on your videos. Have a great weekend!

I love that Rebel Stitcher pattern, she has some really fun designs! Have you seen her Lets Root for Each Other chart?

In fact,I’m going to email you what may be the world’s oldest ‘joke’,it’s from Papua New Guinea,I won’t post it here,it’s got questionable language
