Good morning I remembered Adriene's words from yesterday when i woke up this morning and didn't want to practice "a lot of people do not show up on the 3rd day". I got myself out of bed and said "that is not going to be me!". Thank you for the pep talk and motivation. Loved today's practice.
I realised today that I find it so hard to get on the mat but then when the video is coming to a close I don't want it to end, and I always stay on my mat for a while longer just enjoying stillness or moving in whatever way my body wants to move. And I think that's true about other aspects of my life too, getting started is the hardest part. Yay for insights on Day 3!
This practise had me bawling my eyes out. I have been holding onto so much fear regarding my thesis. I have ADHD and struggle a lot with feeling inadequate due to my lack of focus. I didn't even realise that I have been holding onto these intense feelings over the holidays. The crying session helped so much in releasing those. 😪
This is beautiful. I just cried reading it! I often release some emotion I didn't even realize I had when doing YWA. She's so kind and accepting and it just cracks me open some days. Sending you luck with your thesis!! The fact that you are determined and pushing through despite your challenges makes you the opposite of inadequate.
I also have ADHD and am working on a Master's thesis -- totally feel you about holding onto fear and inadequacy! I am basically in a constant state of imposter syndrome and overwhelm. Yoga is the best outlet for it. good luck with your thesis!

Good morning to anyone a day behind - I'm so grateful for this practice. Last year I tried to do the 30 day practice and with school and work I was running myself into the ground. I got sick from overworking myself so couldn't finish the 30 days. It feels great to be trying again!
I'm also a day behind, with school starting in a couple days, I would have to do the premiere during a lesson😂. I have similar experiences from last year, this year I promised to myself to care for me more and make my mornings the grounding spot with YWA. Will be challenging going to sleep early enough the day before, but I am determined to not let myself down and get sick like I did in 2024. Wishing us both a lot of strength, love and energy on this journey🥰
After a challenging 2024 all I could handle were yin yoga slow stretching sessions. This is my first return to more active yoga and the first two days were tough. Am so out of shape. It’s only today on Day 3 that I finally felt “ah, I remember this. I can do this”. Thank you Adriene. You’re a godsend to so many people.
The January journeys have always been one of my favourites because it really feels like we're practicing together. Today there were about 1500 people here with me at the same time. So fun!! 🧘♀☀

😂 I drifted to sleep during this premier everyone, as it was tough for me to show up today. Showing up is really the hardest...Prana Day 03:01:25✅👌🏾😄 very short and doable, it was playing on the SR background and i woke up after 7 mins and i was able to start it again & finish and i welcome that whoosh inhale and exhale lovely breaths and awesome stretches which gave me that uplifting energy boost i so needed today. This was light, calmer and peaceful. 😌👌🏾 To anyone finding it hard today, just show up and the rest of 15 mins will be so worth it. You've got this. A very relaxing practice. I usually do my practice on the mornings, but for some reason I did it on the evening today after a very busy day, and the timing was just perfect! Namaste.
As Adriene predicted, I wasn't really motivated for day 3, my energy was low, I was feeling a little bit sick and my motivation was close to 0...but I thought, I did commit to this 7 days journey, so I'll stick to it and show up on the mat. And I did, and I'm glad I did. Those breathing exercises and today's practice in general really did some good to my body and on my energy and spirit levels. So again thanks to Adriene for holding our hands and for guiding us trough this beautiful journey. Namaste

I was tempted to wait until this afternoon to complete today's flow. I know myself well enough to know if I put it off now, I might not make time later. I noticed that it was only 17 minutes, so I pushed play. I am glad I did! The time flew by, and this felt like a reward and a break. I love all the breathing focus and the whole-body stretch. In my everyday practice, I do a lot of fast paced (often awakening) vinyasa flows and I love them - but this series is such a wonderful homecoming to the practice and to myself. I practiced Day 1 alongside one of my best friends and came back for day two and now day three. The movements feel so cleansing and I am so happy that this is a little 7 part series - for me it's the perfect length because for seven days, it's very doable to add another 30min practice to my day (and I already look forward to Day 4!). Thank you so much, Adriene, for this gift to the community 🫶

I practiced today is a loud ruckus gym environment. Crazy enough is was still a good practice! Able to hear my internal voice and feel my rhythm. Learning to slow down and truly take MY time. Not feel rushed and like on someone else’s timetable
I had my first workout class this morning then came home for day 3. That was amazing! I’m so happy I chose to wait to complete prana until afterwards. I got a beautiful stretch and now I’m going to stretch a bit more then meditate! It’s a beautiful snowy Friday morning. Have a beautiful day everyone!!!
I'm not a morning workout person, and I loved the 30-day journey's. So when I learned this was 7, I decided to add a challenge by starting my day with this prana series. 0 regrets 😊

This Prana practice is perfect timing for me. I'm still on a healing journey from foot surgery last April, and this intentional whole body coming together experience is exactly what I need. Thankful for all your efforts! I ended the time today with a prayer of thanksgiving for our gracious God loving me through this provision.
Day 3, feeling stronger, glowing and healthier, my lower back pain has gone, and feeling a deep inner peace and presence. Adriene, you are a healer. Bring on Day 4 Yogis! Grateful.🤍

Day 3 in the books... but not only that- 2 years, 730 (or 731, idk if the first day adds one, math is hard xD) days doing yoga with Adriene and all of you daily, in the books! I can say two things: -in the smaller detail-oriented picture, i have had Prana to look forward to each day this week as my year starts, if nothing else. It is usually around day 3 that I start getting my groove, I notice, and boy is it valuable. - in the bigger picture, wow. 2 years of yoga with adriene. And I do not plan on stopping for the rest of my life, this is just such a valuable thing for me every single day to have a comfort to immediately go to first thing in the morning, after a bad dream, a bad day before, anything. I come as i am onto my mat, attune to myself, and I feel better after. As an autistic adult, constants and routine like this help me thrive and are so important to me. Thank you all, namaste 🙏 see you tomorrow!

I started 2 days late but rather than rush and try to catch up I’m keeping up just a few days behind. I’m really trying to be kinder to myself this year but balance that with accountability. Day 3 was really such a nice centering moment for myself and I’m full glad I made. Thank for sharing and creating this experience!
I'm behind schedule too, but that's okay! My goal is to do the 7 days of this series, but I can do them when it works with my schedule. I'm still committed and will still complete the series. We're all different, and we should honor our unique circumstances and schedules. Yoga should be there to add to our lives, and it should not be a chore or something that makes us feel bad when we don't have the time.
The breathing exercise at the beginning gave my cat the zoomies 😅, I took it as a sign to show how all our energy is connected. another beautiful practice thank you from the UK

I woke up 5 minutes before it started, saw the time and basically teleported myself from my bed to the mat 😂 So proud of all of us for showing up! Very grateful for even 3 days of yoga making such a difference. My body says I remember this why do you ever stop doing it? I sure don’t know. I am always so glad to be “ home on the mat”.

Aww I feel you. I had bad imposter syndrome working on my thesis and was in a constant state of anxiety over it for a full year. Crying helps so much.
you will have focus but you just need to find your own rhythm and your own motivation. Yoga will help with this.

Your reminder yesterday to show up for day 3 was very encouraging! Thank you for that. I fell sick during the last few days of 2024 and have been recovering, this session was so peaceful. I feel I can truly start this new year well now. 💚We did it day 3!!!
As always, I am deeply grateful for these practices you provide us with, Adriene. Being in community with you and other like minded souls lifts me up physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thank you for these gentle, mindful movements to awaken, connect, and begin my day feeling uplifted and renewed.
In my everyday practice, I do a lot of fast paced (often awakening) vinyasa flows and I love them - but this series is such a wonderful homecoming to the practice and to myself. I practiced Day 1 alongside one of my best friends and came back for day two and now day three. The movements feel so cleansing and I am so happy that this is a little 7 part series - for me it's the perfect length because for seven days, it's very doable to add another 30min practice to my day (and I already look forward to Day 4!). Thank you so much, Adriene, for this gift to the community 🫶

I practiced today is a loud ruckus gym environment. Crazy enough is was still a good practice! Able to hear my internal voice and feel my rhythm. Learning to slow down and truly take MY time. Not feel rushed and like on someone else’s timetable
I had my first workout class this morning then came home for day 3. That was amazing! I’m so happy I chose to wait to complete prana until afterwards. I got a beautiful stretch and now I’m going to stretch a bit more then meditate! It’s a beautiful snowy Friday morning. Have a beautiful day everyone!!!

This Prana practice is perfect timing for me. I'm still on a healing journey from foot surgery last April, and this intentional whole body coming together experience is exactly what I need. Thankful for all your efforts! I ended the time today with a prayer of thanksgiving for our gracious God loving me through this provision.

I just broke night to catch up to day 3. This is the year Yoga and God deliver me from evil and change my life.
Day 3 in the books... but not only that- 2 years, 730 (or 731, idk if the first day adds one, math is hard xD) days doing yoga with Adriene and all of you daily, in the books! I can say two things: -in the smaller detail-oriented picture, i have had Prana to look forward to each day this week as my year starts, if nothing else. It is usually around day 3 that I start getting my groove, I notice, and boy is it valuable.
- in the bigger picture, wow. 2 years of yoga with adriene. And I do not plan on stopping for the rest of my life, this is just such a valuable thing for me every single day to have a comfort to immediately go to first thing in the morning, after a bad dream, a bad day before, anything. I come as i am onto my mat, attune to myself, and I feel better after. As an autistic adult, constants and routine like this help me thrive and are so important to me. Thank you all, namaste 🙏 see you tomorrow!

I started 2 days late but rather than rush and try to catch up I’m keeping up just a few days behind. I’m really trying to be kinder to myself this year but balance that with accountability. Day 3 was really such a nice centering moment for myself and I’m full glad I made. Thank for sharing and creating this experience!
I'm behind schedule too, but that's okay! My goal is to do the 7 days of this series, but I can do them when it works with my schedule. I'm still committed and will still complete the series. We're all different, and we should honor our unique circumstances and schedules. Yoga should be there to add to our lives, and it should not be a chore or something that makes us feel bad when we don't have the time.
So proud of myself for making it here today! 🎉 I'm trying to bring myself up off the bottom of my own priority list and YWA is definitely helping ❤

I shared our practice yesterday and my friend working at the hospital inspired her colleagues, so they did some yoga lecture after work in their “sport room”. They will continue today. This is what I love about yoga, you and today’s. ☀️🩷🩵

I woke up 5 minutes before it started, saw the time and basically teleported myself from my bed to the mat 😂 So proud of all of us for showing up!
