Do we know what the price of the periscope lens is?
I guess Epson kept their QL7000 10,000 Lumen projector playing in another room.
Can the Epson EH-QB1000 equal or outperform the JVC--NZ800 in video performance?
Two different models completely. I would say, its closer to the nz7. It is absolutely brighter for sure.

@@RobZelinka epson doesnt make native 4k units. For the common man.
Did you test new Sony Projectors or JVC, how do they stack up to these?
Sure did. If you want sony performance, get a sony. These are excellent performers for sure. Im very impressed

How is the tone mapping on the QB1000?
Looked great. It was eclipsed in performance by the qb3000 though

Imagine buying one for your 170+ inch and having to turn it down....Crazy. $7,999 and $14,999 each is pretty reasonable.

It’s not about brightness but contrast - and awol is rather weak with 2500
