    The Skoda Rapid Spaceback is aimed at those who want a bit of added style over the standard, saloon-esque Rapid.
    Not quite a hatchback - and not quite a saloon - the Spaceback is shorter than the standard model but actually offers more rear headroom.
    Skoda claims it is aimed at young, style-conscious families. We put the Skoda Rapid Spaceback to the test to see what it is all about.
    In this review, we take an in-depth look at the interior of the Skoda Rapid Spaceback including its boot size, dashboard and back seats. We then run through performance, price and finish up with the all-important verdict - is the Skoda Rapid Spaceback a good car?
    Constantly updated, Car Keys provides first-hand video reviews, as well as all of the latest car news.

    I was surprised by this little gem. My wife has a 2016 Spaceback Joy edition with the DSG-7 and the 1.4tdi. Was really impressed with the performance of this 3 cyl motor on the autobahn, but also the excellent fuel economy.

    I fell in love with this car. I drove automatic one..Tho i had to sold it after 2 years because i didnt have enough money to maintain it, the xenons are too expensive. But one day i will get myself Skoda Rapid again i hope (just not automatic)...The car fits me very well

    The styling is great, something different from the typical rounded blobby hatchbacks. I like the sleeker, more angular lines.
    Sensible pricing and the 1.2 engine packs a punch for it's size!

      For the price and space, we think (as a family) that it is a fantastic car for daily, and motorway driving, especially with that 1.2 110ps petrol. I think that this review clearly indicates that. One thing you didn't mention is that under the front seats, at the back are two fans, perfect for dogs and kids in the back.
      Keep up the good work, Car Keys!

    Got no complaints, does what it says on the tin.

    I don't get the spaceback. If you are looking at the Rapid you are most likely on a limited budget, why on earth would anyone choose the version with smaller boot? Also this is being targeted at young families? Young families have prams and other shit to fill the boot with, I've got 2 young kids, 5 and 1 year old, a mk4 Toledo (Rapid clone) and I would not dream about getting the spaceback instead of the proper version.

    • @user-itschad1954
      @user-itschad1954 6 лет назад

      Then why choose to watch the video. Sure it won't suit everybody but for most it'll be sufficient.

    • @thebigeasy87
      @thebigeasy87 3 года назад

      To be fair the smaller boot isn't an issue, it's a better shape than a standard rapids boot and th extra space in the rear is much better with large bulky car seats.
      My wife and I bought one it's been great. We have a very chunky travel system and it's been no problem.

    • @thebigeasy87
      @thebigeasy87 3 года назад

      Also worth mentioning I worked in car rental at the time so had plenty of experience with the regular rapid/Jetta/Toledos and find the spaceback just fits better. (And has a nicer interior)
