  • 1) omg i sound so sleepy at half past 8, someone give me a fizzy drink plz
    2) this was meant to be a vlog but all of my vlog attempts are cursed; this time almost all the footage files were rapscallions and didn't cooperate, plus since i basically only talk about books instead of travelling i would've had to do insets or subtitles to introduce them, so i just gave up in the end and this is the result 🤷‍♀️
    3) long time no post! sry for the long wait 🙏 i'm baaaack.... 🎵
incidentally this was filmed before the last vid i posted for so when i talk about "my last video" i mean a different one... but what is time, right......

Fosse has been on my tbr for a while...you're reminding me to get to it. Glad you enjoyed your US trip, you sound like a soul full of wanderlust--I love that.

it feels strange to me to say "I've been to America" now, when all I did was slink down the side of it! hopefully one day I can get a fuller picture, though it all seems so vast...

I have a book of Quiroga stories in Spanish - purchased in Mexico when I was a kid - which I will probably never read now. My Spanish teacher liked his story “Anaconda” but I see it’s not in the volume that you have. Hope you like it.

That Jon Fosse book sounds good. I haven’t read any Fosse, is it a good place to start?

it was my first one! =D my cousin said it was actually pretty different from his more famous books, so i guess it's not representative. buuut the most famous one is apparently super long and this was real short, so if you just want to give him a little try this could be a way in 🚪~
