An important thing to consider for a cosplay is functional pockets. I make sure all mine have them. You did a great job!
So true!
The universal greeblie lives!
Wow your costume looks fantastic, you should be making props and costumes for the Movies 🎥 Thank you so much for sharing 🚀🚀
That's super cool!
This looks great! While you are on the Star Wars theme, do you think you could make some cool, light up, bubbling, drink dispensers like in the bar at Galaxy edge?
Well done. On temu they have refillable silver perfume bottles that would work well on the bandolier
Great job and nice timing!
We’re looking at bounding for our first time this summer and your techniques might come in handy.
Glad it was helpful!
Love that this was a great balance between cosplay and everyday wear. This looks not only comfy but well themed! Great job as always man!
Thank you so much!
Outstanding job, comfortable and Star Wars appropriate! The only thing missing is a VanOaks patch in aurebesh for your cap! Come to think of it, those would be great merch additions!
I’ve thought about it for sure. I’ve got tshirts/sweatshirts with an aurebesh logo in the color palette of Santa Cruz skateboards.
Excellent to bring these pieces all together. How well the chefs jacket worked was surprising to me. Any weathering needed in it?
Because it was polyester I decided not to.
Nice job.
However, it brings up a point that I think about from time to time - one thing I don't think I'll ever understand about the Star Wars universe as cosplayers/replica builders see it... As advanced as their technology was with anti-gravity vehicles and equipment, light speed ship drives, laser weapons, etc., apparently, cleaning products that were available to the primitive citizens of Earth prior to the industrial revolution were so rare in that galaxy - at that time - that they were only used for cleaning clothes, gear, equipment, Wookiees, and droids prior to a medal ceremony. 😏
Well done D!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you!! 😁
Your costume looks great. I have always preferred to make my own characters than do something seen on screen (I have a Twi'lek Mando).
That came out great! And I love the bandolier
Nice work, you look great!!
Thank you!
Bravo sir! Awesome project.
Well done, you look like a citizen of Tatooine.
Love it!!
Thank you!!
Looks great! Keep the Star Wars stuff coming and thanks for sharing!
Thanks!
NICE! so do they let you wear "costumes" at G/E now? I had always heard those were not permitted .
It kind of depends. There's a grey area that they're ok with. No known characters (Han Solo, etc), no blasters, no masks/armor. As long as people won't assume you're a cast member it seems to be fine. This may also just be something they're being extra lenient about during the Season of the Force.
Like it❗️👍👍
Thank you!
It looks amazing, but the description should be changed after that code from "All users" to "Only New Users" I tried putting it in and it said it was only applicable to new users :(
Thanks for the heads up!
I have a paint question, i'm a newbie on weathering. I'm working on a gonk droid a little/lot different, i'm an expert in animatronics and robots, been doing it since it was cardboard robots for 7th grade science fair in 1982 in Fresno Cal. second place after teacher told me robots are for movies not real life, mine was stacked cardboard, lots of duct tape pushing a vacuum that i stole everything out of oops maybe i stole vacuum too, well hmm. So i robbed stuff out of an old PS3, for the gonk droid, common pattern there, i'm an xbox guy, so no anxiety. I have a metal shield out of it, what kind of paint will stick to the smooth metal so i can weather it, craft paint came off or was going to. I like the look of the metal but was thinking of spraying with a metal paint and then weather, any ideas?
If the intention is to weather it you can use standard spray paints. You may need to scuff the metal with some fine grit sandpaper to help with adhesion.
Nice costume, You can't beat Temu for budget builds when using brand new items, Well done!
Thanks!
Where did you get the boots
