"if you can see yourself, you will never be truly blind kanan jarrus, jedi knight." "I wish I could see you..." "you could always see me" *clip of getting eyesight back saving the people he loves* yes! loved Kanan... he knew he had to risk his life to save a loved one, there was no fear, there was no guessing who he was, or what he could or could not do, all there was, was the force, what was supposed to happen, and in that moment, he was one with the force... loved this so much. It really shows how love between people can be strong and is not always a path to the dark side, since the Jedi were so afraid of attachment and such. Edit: after watching this video like a million times I only just now noticed that in the scene where Kanan is saving Hera, the hand thats near the fire is shaking, while the hand that's holding Hera is still. Its a small detail, but still a really awesome one. its like a contrast of two different sides of the force... really beautiful. How one can be shaking from strain, and fear of losing loved ones, yet the other one is literally the most still thing in the entire scene, protecting the person that makes him at peace, while hes in the middle of it, one with both sides of this contrast, is able to see himself clearly and what his purpose is and is one with the force because of that, regaining his eyesight. Kanans death really is a masterfully directed and composed scene. Dave Filoni is the man.

Caleb Dume aka Kanan Jarrus was a true Jedi Knight and deserves the title of Master. Not only did he teach the ways of the Force, he taught about Life. Which is exactly what the Jedi Order lacked. Jedi's didn't fall to the Dark Side because of the Force, they fell because they lacked skills at dealing with life. This was also the Jedi curriculum that Luke developed in the now not canon books.
CC - 22 - 5133 i dont think so the other members of the ghost crew play a pivotal role in the development of Kanan and Hera, character-wise. I just wanna say, thank you so much for doing these videos. No series has resonated with me in a way that Star Wars has, and these videos emphasize the exact reason why. Many Sci-Fi shows and movies have just seemed goofy and odd to me personally, but Star Wars just seems timeless. I know there has been a lot of divide with new films and canon, but at least everybody can relate in some way to the stories Lucasfilms tells us. Making the right decisions, Hope, and Failure are just some of the many lessons that anybody can learn, I know I have. You've portrayed what we all love about Star Wars with The Chosen One, The Last Jedi, The Scavenger, and now Kanan's story. So thank you for making these videos and inspiring me as a content creator! Cheers, you have yourself a long time fan. :)

I’ve literally watched this like 10 times and I still can’t get over it. I cry every time. I don’t understand how you can make something so beautiful, so powerful... please keep doing what you’re doing. This is incredible. Thank you for making this. 😭😭
Thank you my friend, i’m so glad you enjoyed it. Keep an eye out this week for my Obi Wan tribute :)
May the Force be with you.
Such an amazing character and Hero R.I.P
I put my hat down. This is the tribute Caleb Dume deserves. Awesome video!
This tribute is so emotional... Makes me miss rebels even more :(
You will never be truly blind...
Kanan Jarrus Jedi Knight
I don't even watch Rebels (I know the characters and keep up to date on what goes on) and I'm balling my eyes out
Hope you ended up changing that. It really is a beautiful story to follow
And people still wanna try hating on Rebels? Idiots. I forgot about Kanan's eyes returning right before he died, showing the power of the Force flowing through him at that point when he reached his ultimate destiny. What an amazing character that shows how good Rebels was.
Rebels in this generation is underrated just as the Prequels/Clone wars were to the Original Trilogy
The series is flawed but it is not horrible.
@@CyberSonic-V3.0 how is it flawed?
@@copa0793 I find the Imperials to be too incompetent. They were incompetent in ROTJ but in this series its way too much imo.
@@CyberSonic-V3.0 Tarkin and thrawn were not incompetent
More than a year later, and this video still gets me, right in the feels. Kanan is my favorite Jedi, hands down.
Despite limited training, Kanan Jarrus was a perfect example of everything a Jedi Knight is supposed to be.
This tribute rivals my favorites of yours (The Chosen One and PURPOSE). Your honestly the most outstanding editor on RUclips so please make more, I can't get enough of these. And that part where Kanan said his goodbye to Hera that made cry like a baby and then said his final goodbye by saving his crew that was the most powerful thing I have ever seen.
I’ve watched this more than 10 times times and I’m continuing to watch it more. When that music builds up 🤌😭❤️
Wow, this is a REALLY well made video. You must have put a lot of time into it.💔Kallus is my favorite character but Kanan💔. . .I'm heart broken he's gone. I must say his ending was beautifully written, even if it's hard to see him go.
Thank you so much Marshall! I'm so glad you loved it. May the force be with you, always :)
Marshall and Know he made Kenobi which is another moving tribute by this Godlike editor
Amazing video, tears in my eyes, thank you so much for making this ❤
This is amazing. Kanan is my favourite character in Rebels. Thank you so much for making this.
Oh man. That was beautiful, it helped a lot after those episodes. Kanan is one of my favorite characters, his journey has been fantastic to watch, and I get the feeling he's not quite done yet, in whatever form.
Ezra's line about Kanan teaching him about being a good person got me hard. Augh.
How. How did you do THIS? This was freaking perfect! I didn't think that it was possible to feel even worse about Kanan dying, thanks for proving me wrong. I just... wow. That was brilliant man. Keep up the good work.
The harshest yet most wholesome part, he regained his eyesight in his last seconds
This is beautiful. Great job. I do honestly think that Kanan's death is the saddest moment in Star Wars.
This made me tear up. This video is beautiful. Kaleb Dume is now one with the force.
Celeb Dume.
"I wish i could see you" That point always gives me chills when watching this!
I only wish it was longer, what an incredible video that perfectly displays the impact Kanan had on fans
Kanan Jarrus(Caleb Dume) was one of my favorite Jedi Knights and I will miss him so much. This vid made me kinda emotional and it was a great vid too. Keep it up my dude
Great character with a great send off. A selfless Jedi master. "You carry conflict with you, Kanan Jarrus. Jedi knight."
"...I have learned to see things differently. There is a future for us, one where we are all free. But it is up to us to make it happen."
"I couldn't just watch it burn down around me" if that foreshadowing made me cry.
Man, Kanan getting his eyesight back and looking at Hera really got to me. what a powerful moment. Made this grown ass man cry.
I really teared up when ezra say I don't mean about the force I mean about life about being a good person that's what you taught me
Kanan deserves so much more love, I wish there was more quality tributes to him and Ezra on RUclips
two and half years later and this video still gets to me. RIP Kanan Jarrus, Jedi Knight.
Was about to post the same- every.time.
I'm not crying, you're crying! HFP, you captured his journey so well. Yet another excellent video; keep up the good work!
I don't think I have ever watched this without crying.
This tribute is beautifully done. Now I'm crying. I really do hope we get to see Kanan again.
Still watch this from time to time and it brings just a flood of inspirational emotions!
I was called Master, before I could respect the title.
I taught children, guided them through teenage years, attended their High School Graduations, helped them to bury their parents, attended their weddings and finally saw life again as their first born children were brought into this world.
"I don't mean about the force, I mean about life, that is what you taught me."
"When I saw innocence harmed and I new I could do something about it I couldn't let it all burn down."
How true.
A true tribute to a character who will be missed.
This is my favourite of your videos - I love Kanan he’s my favourite Jedi and this video does more than justice
I come to watch this about 3 times a week to keep me going. Thanks for this.
Most Respectable and Relatable Jedi after Qui-Gon died. He was the best part of Rebels and I definitely need more of him some time in the future.
Wow, Kanan might just be one of my favourite characters in all of Star Wars, I miss Rebels so much
This is a masterpiece. Thank you for putting this together. Kanan is my favorite Jedi.
Caleb Dume is my all time fav Jedi. I love his story of personal redemption and sacrifice. What an honorable life. This video just breaks me.
Impressive, Most Impressive
Man, I'm still crying... this was so well done!
Obiwan, Caleb Dune, Ashoka Tano and Quigon are the Jedis that fully embodied what the Jedi are supposed to be. One fully with the force.
And cal kestis
And yoda
this is amazing. Cant wait for Obi-Wan
My favourite Jedi! What a beautifully done tribute. So moving.
*Cries* This is the best Star Wars video I have ever seen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this. You did Kanan true justice with this tribute! I can't stop watching this. *bawling my eyes out*
You continue to amaze. I have bearly watched Rebels and this gave me the chills
this has got to be the most beautiful tribute ive seen i had tears right from the start ,the quotes the scenes you picked and the music all flowed perfectly
i know it not star wars but i would love to see a final fantasy 7 video with cloud and aries i know you would give that love story epic awesome tribute
All of your videos... are masterpieces, honestly, I may not have enjoyed the show, but this video actually made me feel for the character. Your videos have an impact, which is what alot of tribute creators lack.
You always capture the best of all the characters.
Thank you so much man, this really means a lot :)
May the Force be with you.
I get chills every time I watch this masterpiece
Edits and video compilations such as this is what makes my love for Rebels and Star Wars as a whole so much greater. Beautiful, powerful and inspirational. You captured a wonderful summary of this character and further emphasized the creative mind of Dave Filoni and the rest of the cast and crew.
