Yeah it’s a big step up. If your getting into the fast stuff, start small then work your way up. There are plenty of 1/12 scale cars that have some great speed. Don’t go big and start on the big jumps right away. It can cost you 💰💰thanks for watching . 👍🏼🚗
What an absolute beast I’ve got the brushless warrior been tossing up whether to put a brushless combo in it or buy a slayer/slider to put a brushless combo in as the warrior is only 2wd, love your vids mate💪🏼🤙🏼
Thanks man, if you were to upgrade to brushless, id go 4wd slayer or the slider, you will get better performance, but only recommend a 2s setup. I think 3s is just a bit too much for this car, but I will do some more upgrades like the dogbones and see if I can fit a wheelie bar also. thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. 👍🚙
This Blackzon By Hpi catches my attention, although there are trucks like the HBX in 1/12 (Does the slyder have higher quality electronics than Hbx?) (how about the quality of the stock electronics, esc, servo, batteries?) Easy to get parts and gears?
The stock one come with a brushed setup and ran well. It had plenty of power and could run on 3S, not for too long as it’s only a 2s esc. But as You can see I have upgraded to a brushless system and works well. My main concern were the plastic diff gears. They are holding up well to this day. Parts are easy to find at your local store or on eBay. 👍🏼🚗
Yeah, that was my next option, but it’s getting pretty tight under the body. I ended up buying a wheelie bar, and some foam tyres for it to do a better speed run. 👍🏼🚗
Yep just enough power🤣 Some of the little 2845s are way more capable than you kinda realise, chuck my little 2950 6s motor in it and see if your diffs last🤔😂 Have to bring it out when we catch up🤘
haha, yeah il stick to my little 2845!. I do want mine to last after I pull the throttle for the first time. once I get better dogbones. its coming out.
Not it originally came With a brushed setup. I wouldn’t have run it on 3S on a brushed system. Would have gone Pop!. It would poss last a little bit but not on the long run. 👍🏼🚗
@undergroundchannel yeah it should, but always check the specs sheet if it came with one. Or the instructions. Also You could see on the wax if it says 3S . 👍🏼🚗
I've had my Smyter desert buggy a few months now. I'm new to 1/12 scale from 1/10 crawlers. Mine goes fast to me, but I'm new to the hobby last year.

Wow. It's a little mighty mouse. Nice video mate 👍
Yeah it’s quick now. 😃. Thanks mate. 👍🏼🚗

I need that setup for my stampede!
I got the 3500 velineon in mine now and it’s too powerful just wheelie all the time lol
@@ryannedits I think the 3800kv is just on borderline for power, but need to keep it down poss with a wheelie bar. 👍🏼🚗
@@angesrc I tried that snapped the wheelie bar 😢
@@ryannedits oh really. Speaking of wheelie bars. Where did you get yours from?
@@angesrc just a traxxas one
I have a q901 fully modifyde and goes 60kmh if you want to get more speed you should make it heavyer in the front
Yeah Il have to try that. Even tho I got 63km I’m sure it can go a bit faster . 👍🏼🚗
I think probably 70-75 kmh when full flat out

Strap some weight on the front

What is The 3S battery
@@Moto_hub835 I used a 3s zee power 1500mah 120c battery. Hope this helps. 👍🏼🚗
Could I get some pics of what you did, I want to do the same mods.
Sure, Il see what I can do to get some pics to you. Just out at the moment. 👍🏼🚗

Were you still using stock motor and stock ESC in the testing? Cause I am curious if the Stock motor and ESC is capable with the 3S batteries.

@@angesrc Ah...got it, I actually got the 1/16 Slyder Turbo, I believe it came with a brushless motor, so would I be able to run a 3S battery on mine?
