I never liked how CK never gave Daniel and Kumiko the opportunity to address their relationship and the feelings they shared when they were young which was the heart of KK3. The deleted scene with a piano Glory of Love gently playing in background would have been so perfect in doing that and remaining respectful that no boundaries cross in terms of Daniel's marriage to Amanda. Kumiko still loves and respect Daniel too much to do that. Despite her own feelings and how heartbreaking she never married, she knows it's the only and right thing to do.

Ralph is such a lucky guy to be involved in such an iconic movie and now Netflix series. I finally met him at Megacon and I have to say he is one of the most nicest and humbled person I've ever met. I hope to meet him again one day just to say thank you for giving us these movies.
Definitely! I met him at my friends dojo just recently (on Long Island) and he couldn't have been a nicer guy.

It's so beautiful to see a love like this it's undeniable who his true love is he may be married now but his heart still belongs to Kumiko. I really hope they write it up in the season at the end for them to end up together it's not often in a lifetime that you find a love like that. And I really believe Kumiko makes him a better man I can just see the difference in the way that he is with her than with his wife Amanda. Such a different feeling it's like he's someone else I always say you should end up with a person who makes you the better version of yourself.

No disrespect to Amanda Larusso but I think Kumiko in a way loved Daniel that even Amanda couldn't. I mean, I get that Amanda is hot, witty and charming but at the same time, I don't reckon she ever understood Daniel that well and what karate actually meant for him. Kumiko had an understanding and wisdom about her in regards to Daniel and I really believe she would have made a great wife to him. She wouldn't lash out at Daniel like Amanda does often.

I thought I was the only person who thought this. Maybe not intentional, but sometimes she treats him like a child and dismisses what’s important to him. Amanda was not who I expected Daniel to be married to. I assume there is an age difference between them.
On an alternate timeline… Daniel & Kumiko never lost touched & stayed together since 1984❤😢

Amanda's character is great and the actress is also really good. But I've been team kumiko since the 80s.
Kumiko had beautiful eyes then, And they're still beautiful now.

The way Kumiko looks at Daniel at 3.16-3.17 and tells him thank you at 1.38 this must’ve been a dream come true for her. I don’t know how the writers will do it, but they have to end up together. There is no way that her story should end like her aunt.

Ea increíble la química de estos personajes. Nunca ni antes ni después se vió tan feliz a Daniel Larusso ni tan enamorada a Kumiko. Realmente rompe el corazón ver estas escenas. Claramente el amor de la vida de Kumiko es Daniel y al revés también sólo que él, no quiere darse cuenta. The chemistry of these characters is incredible. Never before or since did she see Daniel Larusso so happy or Kumiko's so in love. It really breaks your heart to see these scenes. Clearly the love of Kumiko's life is Daniel and the other way around too. He just doesn't want to realize it.

I know they gave his a wife since 2018 but I love these two. Amanda is cool but these two have the best romance from these movies in my opinion. era a versão que teria nessa cena deletada né. dizem que cortaram por alongar demais a cena mas acho que tem a ver com a química deles muito evidente. talvez não pegasse bem pra continuidade do personagem. mas uma pena porque glory of love é a música mais famosa do karate kid, inclusive indicada pro oscar.
I know what you guys are thinking, but Amanda is a wonderful lady. We all love her. Especially after the way she treated Tori in season 4. We all love Kumiko too but her and Daniel had their time, it's best he stays with Amanda. Besides the fact that he doesn't break up with her to be with Kumiko, shows he is a decent person.
I’m sure Mrs. Miyagi was wonderful too but that didn’t mean he ever stopped loving Yukea. I can see an old Daniel as a widower writing love letters to Kumiko just like Mr. Miyagi did. Some loves last forever whether you’re physically with the person or not. I think this is a case of history repeating itself.

😂😂😂😂😂 I can't.... this was so great. It's tough to type and cry at the same time . I really love Daniel's wife in the series Amanda a lot... she is very good for Daniel in many ways . It's just really hard to top seeing him again with Kumiko . I just do not see Kumiko as a home wrecker type to go to California to be with Daniel ; Daniel & Amanda are happily married and rarely disagree . I am not saying something is going to happen to change that but as for now.... Chosen went to California alone to help Daniel .
It would take a Big Riff to come between Daniel & Amanda and I just do not feel that a love reunion for Daniel and Kumiko is going to happen.... guess we will have to wait and see .
