Regarding the current temperature, I do recall the wise words of a workmate, much older than me, who was around in the Great Winter of 1947. He said that people forgot that it was quite mild up to the middle of January, and THEN it went cold, and also the coal miners went on strike. Because it's mild over Christmas, don't think we will get away with it through to March 2025!
Finally completed my marathon binge watch!!! Glad I saved you up, as you kept me from being miserable all day with this blooming, constant runny nose 🤧 I really enjoyed ALL the vids🤓
Mismatch tyres: regulations in France are quite strict which I think is quite good for Michelin as well as safety. Same dimensions and make with similar wear on each axle. Damage one and you may need two replacements.
I found whilst in Prague it seems a legal requirement to have winter tyres fitted throughout the winter period as there is Usually a possibility it can snow there. Usually you either see cars with alloys with winter tyres or cars with a scruffy set of steels with them on.
Just seen your newest premiere, I’m so surprised you don’t have a Subaru outback or Subaru forester, I saw one the other day and I thought that is a Geoff car
The Crystal or "Jewell" headlights are worth it Geoff if you can get a set. Different High beam bulb on them though (9003 - HU3) and the clips on the standard H7 are different.

One of my Classic motorcycles did that. Crank went a bollock. Absolutely siezed rock solid.
Hi mate. It's a pleasure watching your videos
Well it’s oddly cold for our summer
Must be global cooling here 👍👍🇦🇺

I’m glad I did…!!
Can’t beat the t5 wheels to give ANY Volvo the right look! - ps get rid of the cow mud on the arches Geoff! - I can smell it from here!
Cross Climate are awesome tyres but be careful about going into corners too brisk if it’s really wet because once they slip, they slip.
One of your tyres are facing the wrong way round. Unless you're planning to reverse every where then I'll shut up then...
it's not the tyre it's the wheel... pretty sure they aren't sided, but I will check tomorrow!
Your videos are always a high standard of quality on RUclips. Thank you for your work!⛷🍔🤸

When I swapped our worn conti contacts for cross climates on our XC90 I got a 'free' Lego Bugatti kit, still building the bloody thing 12 months on.

Hey Geoff with your extensive knowledge of Volvos, are there any XC70’s that have manual transmission or are they all autos?
You can get all of them manual but you might need to search one out

Yes it needs to happen!

I'll see if I can get a set
@@GeoffBuysCars I'm in the process of putting LED bulbs in them, low enough output as to not blind the other drivers though.

Tyres should last more than 4 years without cracking.
