Hi Great video, really helpful reference for my installation, is it possible to confirm the size of cable for the 12v battery feed and the size of the 4 core cables to the switch? Thanks David
Thanks for the video. Just found your channel & am really enjoying your output. All the videos are informative & clear, with enough explanation that even I can understand……..but without the waffle 👍
Would you know if this step is freed like won't operate from button but motor still works n pulling out or in manually is there a fix or need to replace whole thing
The two wires going to the old electric motor if you can connect those to the positive and negative on battery it will show the step going in and out reverse the polarity for n and the other way for out if that's the case you then need to replace is the switch or a relay etc. Anyone telling you you can't fix these is just trying to sell you a new one so long as the electric motor is good everything else is just minor parts
This was very helpful for my install - really appreciate you putting this together!
Thank you very much
Nicely explained. I fitted the 700 version to my Sprinter and it's been invaluable to my 12 year old GSD for getting him in and out of the van.
Great thanks

Hi David we used 3mm twin core flex cable for the 12v supply and 1mm 4 core for the switch. Thanks
Well done 👏 thinking of adding one of these as those boxers have a high step. Very informative as usual .
Glad it was helpful! Yes after using the step it actually made us realise how high they are without

Awesome, thank you! That is great to hear
Nice video and great ‘how to’. I was debating if I need/want a step, but seeing this has made my mind up that I need one.
Glad it was helpful! Yes I think it is one of those things that you don’t realise how useful it is until you have it
Fantastic to see how much care you put into your work 👍
So neat and tidy! 👌🏻
Thank you! 😊
Hello, when pressing out it fails to go outwards but i am pretty certain I've wired it correctly.
Do you have any suggestions please?
Can the step work fully in or out on one touch rather than holding the button
Nicely done
Thanks!
Great information thanks

Very good 👍
thank you for you comment
Great video! Thanks for posting. Sadly they don't sell these in the USA so I'm having to pay £124 in shipping charges alone to get one into the US. :(
Sorry to hear that
