More than an honorable man. Combat medics are the bravest people I've ever met. When I was injured in Afghanistan by an IED the medics didn't wait for the EOD or even getting the clear on defensive formation. They just rushed in. The shrapnel had barely landed before they floored it. I am only alive because of them. I like to joke that soldiers have a self preservation instinct but combat medics only have an "other people" preservation instinct. But... it's actually not a joke... They all seem to somehow have complete faith that because they're medics trying to save people the kinetic reality of war has no effect on them.

It just goes to show that people need to learn to stand up and learn to be stronger because it is the weak ones that get brainwashed.

RIP Pete I think Macron took the L, to save the republic. He gave people the chance to vote for their convictions after the disaster of the EU elections. He's a smart guy. He knew he wouldn't win, but the far right could not be left on a victory.
801 / 5 000 People in France see the European elections as something without values. Most do not move, and those who do move do so to express discontent. So the far right's score was TOTALLY OVERVALUED. Be careful, I'm not saying that the far right doesn't score well in France. This party which took the name of the former n.zi party, which speaks to its electorate like a slightly slow 8-year-old child, is enjoying significant success. But not as much as the Europeans made us believe. This is why President Macron organized these elections: to remind us that the racist, nationalist, anti-European, pro-putin and propagandist far right party is present in France. But as a minority. And that it must know where its place is.
Maybe he's a smart guy but governing France won't be easy now. The left is the biggest block but Macron is trying to form a coalition with the right (LR). The ultra-right RN vowed to sink any government. If Macron ignores the left, it's done: the left and the ultra-right will cancel the government.
We say here in Europe that Belarusian army could be stopped by the police force of Poland. Belarusian armed forces are threat to no one. The fear is that Russian army uses Belarusian territory as a passageway.
You also left out the part where the Ruzzians are supposedly parking nuclear weapons there. However, whether or nor Putin trusts them with launch codes is debatable.
@@Mantarr1 The Russians say they deploy nukes there, and then they send dummies. Belarus is even more corrupt than Russia. Putin certainly trusts Lukashenko to not f around with the arrangement, but he doesn't trust Luka's officers... just as Luka doesn't trust his officers.

Using them is not a military business, that requires meteorologists, physicists, computers, mathematicians, doctors, public safety methods and shelter maintenance etc. A whole can of worms that Russia can’t handle nor is prepapred or equipped for, unlike west. If that happens, that is compeltely different calulations and actions that are needed to take and completely different tools required, that Russia doesn’t have.
Its such a huge contrast between how Russia treats their own people who died for their own country and how Ukraine treats even foreigners who fight for their freedom. Russia cant even be bothered to get the majority of their own men home and they bury them in unmarked graves. Ukraine holds ceremonies and memorials, even if the soldier isnt one of their citizens.

Bonjour - Ukraine gained its independence in 1991 after the collapse of the USSR. On December 1, 1991, 92% of Ukrainians who participated in a national referendum voted for independence. In every region of the country, including Crimea, a majority supported separation. According to the US State Department, Ukraine has the right and opportunity to reclaim the territories currently occupied by Russia and restore its internationally recognized borders that it had when it became independent in 1991. This is a complex and delicate subject which involves many international actors. It is important to note that any resolution must comply with international law and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries involved. Why is it called the far-right but only the "Left". Today "antifascists" in some French cities - as a celebration of their victory - burned down cars and destroyed businesses shouting the parole "everyone hates the police". What is so far about the right in France?

I had a friend who was sent on a UN mission to South Sudan. The British troops were supposed to be relieved by Chinese troops. The first time they were shot at the Chinese ran and hid. The British ended up staying for a few months longer to hand hold the Chinese. I’m not worried about Chinese troops. At least 40% of their training is to learn Communist propaganda. They’ve not been involved in actual combat since the Korean War, and given their actions during the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan, they don’t appear to have the motivation to fight.
What you say is sort of correct. Its not a mater of motivation, it is a matter of problem solving. From an early age in China critical thinking is not only avoided, it is actively suppressed. This runs deep through Chinese society. When faced with a decision - any decision, you either copy someone, or wait for someone to tell you what to do. This makes for an obedient, malleable society that the CCP have reinforced for generations. For Chinese soldiers, training comes easy. You just do what the chain of command tells you to do. No more, no less. It makes for impressive parade ground marches. However, warfare is different. At the pointy end hundreds of decisions must be made under adverse conditions and pressure. Where to shoot. When to shoot, What to shoot, all while trying to maintain a level of self-preservation. Sure a soldier must respond to orders under a chain of command, but a good, or even adequate soldier is also a critical thinker and decision maker - fast - and under fire. Deep-seated cultural programming in China has effectively deleted that functionality in Chinese society and military. The go-to response anywhere, anytime is "When in doubt - do nothing" We saw this with Chinese commuters stuck in train tunnels during floods. They just calmly stayed in their seats until the water rose and drowned them, while waiting for someone to tell them what to do. So in your South Sudan situation, I'm sure that what you said is true, but it was probably not a lack of motivation, but a complete lack of not knowing what to do, without being told at a macro level, other than to breathe in and out. When a shooting war breaks out, those that don't freeze outright, will just destroy themselves in pointless meat-wave attacks, like Russians, because they won't know what else to do and there are a lot of them. By way of contrast, we are seeing Ukrainian soldiers abandoning Russian command structures and embracing critical thought on the battlefield. One reason why the kill ratios are as high as 8:1. At least, these are my thoughts on the topic.... :)
@@superchilledbru neither of you are wrong, it depends if we talk about turnout as an absolute or as a trend with previous similar elections in mind. Very proud of the UK and France for pulling through. Now let's hope we Americans don't let everyone down this election. It's time for us to reject our far-right, support Ukraine, and oppose Russia as the best path forward.
No way Biden is winning. Hopefully the Europeans can find a way to work with Trump. I think if the EU comes around to standing up to China then that might get Trump on board with Ukraine.
I also hope so but since I yesterday heard, I think it may have been on Meidas touch, that the CEOs of CNN, MSNBC and so on all funded Trumps campaign it became even more obvious that the main stream media are working to get him into power again. Biden has a work to do to overcome the desinformation from entire media.
France went into league with equally vile communist (who are also mostly themselves anti-ukraine) to keep the populist right at bay, for now. A few years of the Communists sabotaging their own country will see the populist right gain even more support
Not exactly lying. He just thinks authoritarian, culturally conservative, and anti-woke is all you need for a great country. He rates those factors above life expectancy, healthcare, education, and quality of life.
I'm a right leaning voter in Canada (although Canadian politics are generally left leaning) but I will not be voting for any party that does not explicitly support Ukraine. I would even vote liberal if they would double our aid to Ukraine. This is the single biggest event of my life time so far and will determine if we live in a free world or a world run by dictators.
good news is that the big 3 are all in support of Ukraine. I think the only ones that aren't are the Greens and maybe the Blok (I need to check if the Blok are in support or not). Pretty sure the PPC are in support too.
Being to the right is detached from supporting Ukraine: uphold international law & order, defend democracy, protect Canada’s strategic interests. None of these is anything to do with left or right. It would be a pretty strange right-winger who didn’t believe in those. The west’s right was firmly anti-Hitler and anti-Stalin 80 years ago. Same same today.
Thanks for all of your efforts for Ukraine, Jake. I sent a letter to my Governor asking for official recognition that what our citizens did in 1774 and the following years, resisting the Redcoats and driving them back from Concord to the sea, is the same struggle for democracy and independence from imperial aggression that the people of Ukraine are currently engaged in. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts should openly and loudly support the struggle of the people of Ukraine. Слава і перемога демократії, свободі та незалежності України!

The Conservatives were awful, one scandal to the next, with leaders who only looked after themselves and their rich friends, happy to see them go finally. One important thing is to not blame Rishi Sunak too much, he was given the role after Boris was kicked out for his incompetence and lies and Liz Truss crashed the £ in record timing, so the fact he stayed quiet and focused on stabilizing the economy was okay. But all in all it's mostly a sigh of relief in the UK at the moment.
@@paularchard5796I supported reform because the policies they provided are very pro British, in the sense they will help average people, which is my top priority, but I still don’t know where they stand on Ukraine, I want Ukraine to be supported, but they haven’t made their position clear yet, Nigel said putins actions are reprehensible, but he also wants to cut foreign aid, whether or not that will be Ukraine aid, no one knows.
The UK is the best evidence that Ukraine's support isn't a matter of left or right but of moderate vs radical. Germany isn't different in that matter, nor are other decent countries. France is one more evidence that radicals are still in the minority. A large one at this moment, but this will change as it always has in the past. Radicals have a short lifespan in Western democracies. No matter their orientation. France is also evidence that moderates can unite and work together despite their different agendas and that the saying "United we stand, divided we fall" still applies. A special greeting to Mr. P and his minions and fandom. We may be "woke" but we aren't dumb. And we can bite back if needed.
Jake, I’m from the UK. Our General election gives the impression that Labour won the vote by a landslide which isn’t correct, they won the majority of seats but they were far from having a voter majority. Less than 21% of eligible voters voted for Labour, not a huge change from the last election. However a lot of conservative voters just withdrew from voting at all.
Thank you as always Jake. Information packed as usual. No matter how many times I see the news about Pete, I start sobbing. It is a comfort to see him honored. Thank you for also mentioning that these memorials are happening every day. A Ukrainian parent, spouse, child, friend, loses a loved one every day, and feels a loss that far exceeds that of an outsider looking in. All the while, they are surviving each day in defense against an enemy that has come to their land to annihilate them. Glory to Ukraine. Heroaim Slava.
At this point in time, even if I was the staunchest Russia, at some point, you gotta start asking some questions. No Western army sends their soldiers into battle that poorly equipped. It's just embarrassing at this point.
The reason why UK politicians have to concede when they lose is because they have a national independent electoral commission which draws boundaries, regulates financing and organises the elections. This takes politics out of the organisation of elections so losers can’t blame their opponents for their failures. All balloting is the same, there are no voting machines. This, of course, won’t happen in the US as the ability to draw boundaries keeps people in power who would otherwise lose their seats and ambiguity allows republicans a cop out whenever they lose. They still use First past the post, which is highly undemocratic, but it’s a much fairer system than that in the US.
@@SarahMould Like the "rigged" referendum on Brexit? No pressure growing where I sit. Face it - no party that gets in with a majority is going to throw away that majority.
There is no ambiguity. What are you talking about? The only Republican that ever questioned the election was Trump. That's it. The US has an actual system for the House and Senate where if a person has the votes they get the seat, which is much fairer than what happened in the UK recently and Reform got half the votes of Labor but 5 seats.
@@birdstwin1186If I may rephrase; there is a perception of ambiguity. This is not the same as there being actual ambiguity. Some look for reasons why they lose and the mere perception of unfairness allows them to continue this pointless narrative. As for the US system being 'fairer', this is simply not true. It is perceived as fairer because of the dominance of the two parties, this is not necessarily a competitive democracy, just one where minority voices are ignored. In the UK you can have a competitive race between three or four parties in the same constituency, allowing for more minority representation. It is certainly not ideal but there is definitely much more diversity than in the US system. Obviously a proportional system with multi-seat constituencies is more efficient and representational but that would require a consensus between politicians and the electorate, an educational program etc which the US and Uk are simply unwilling or unprepared to undertake out of self interest or sheer laziness.

The new PM assigned his ministers to their various departments over the weekend and EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING was in place to carry on running the country by Monday morning. Our electoral system is made to prevent such things happening. All reasonable people whose candidate has been eliminated are supposed to rally around the most consensual alternative to an extremist. I think it was originally to prevent the communists to take over and is now used against the far-right. That is quite clever but has made all middle ground politicians lazy and bland. Even the most incompetent candidate or party is assured of at least moderate success.
You made the right choice brother for we must stand fast for Ukraine is not just fighting for their own nation, but for all of the free world by preventing WW3.
The Kremlin is only one sponsor of MAGA. There are other billionaires who also want a weakened American regulatory apparatus. If you notice, the Kremlin and allies always say the opposite of their true intentions. "Clear Skies Initiative" was supposed to gut the Clean Air Act, for example. "Make America Great Again" is also a con... their goal is self-enrichment, and the slogan is supposed to distract people from understanding their real goal, aa usual. That's why Putin said he had no intention to invade Ukraine... right before he invaded. That's how it goes.
was there every any doubt? The Muller report laid it out pretty clearly how often russian agents tried to collude with the Trump campaign and the only reason it did not really happen was incompetence, massive incompetence. Also the russians funneled billions into Donald Trumps bank accounts over certain olligarchs close to the russian government. You can find so many little pieces of evidence, piecing together proof that Trump is a russian ally and russia views him as a useful idiot to exploit.
America, I think it’s hilarious how it’s so evil to want to reshape the country around rebuilding the family, leading positive faith based lives, and stopping and removing the majority of unlawful entrance, and making it easier for actual productive and responsible people to come. I don’t agree with abandoning our historical alliances, but that would never happen. It was a talking point in ‘16. What happened? Its just a grift. Which I don’t mind, as long as it means replacing complete incompetence, with at least some.

But maybe NATO will expand to the "Pacific Ocean & Trans-Atlantic Treaty Organization". It would also have a funny acronym: POTATO
Edit:
Because so many people don't have a clue about NATO and think any country can join.
Article 10 of the North Atlantic Treaty sets out how countries can join the Alliance. It states that membership is open to any "European State in a position to further the principles of this Treaty and to cor tribute to the security of the North Atlantic area".

I think Macron took the L, to save the republic.
He gave people the chance to vote for their convictions after the disaster of the EU elections.
He's a smart guy. He knew he wouldn't win, but the far right could not be left on a victory.

People in France see the European elections as something without values.
That statement holds tremendous value, and thank you for your time expressing such information ❤. Bless you @@guillaume4519

Nice to see you Maca, I used to watch your streams when I was a WoWs player. I fully agree!
The go-to response anywhere, anytime is "When in doubt - do nothing"
We saw this with Chinese commuters stuck in train tunnels during floods.
The Chinese r only children, they are not expendable, they should go back to China n raise a family

France is one more evidence that radicals are still in the minority. A large one at this moment, but this will change as it always has in the past.
Yes, we had a rigged referendum on AV which failed, but the pressure is growing

It was indeed one of the best moments of the election... although Liz Truss facing oblivion was funnier!
Although note than 4 Labour MPs in heavily-Muslim districts were defeated by independent candidates running on pro-Palestinian tickets.
@GCarty8thats up. To them
If china is there he has arms that are not russia defined
How would Belarus get arms physically from China if not though russia
Thank you Jake Glory to Ukraine ! Glory to The Heroes ! 💙💛 Pete! Forever in our hearts. 💘
1:25 Atleast UK losing party can take an L gracefully.
BRAVO to France and UK for keeping their mind straight even in the crazy era we are in. Wish we could say the same here in Murica.
vote blue and ull have no lying moron problem.. meaning ur problem solves itself..
Latest i read was that Harris might take Bidens place.. and ill bet shes 100's times better than trump in the office..
Kamala is prepared to take the place of Jill when the time comes.
Have a little faith, son. Focus less on what our corporate owned media is spinning for a narrative to increase their ratings, and more on what you see with your own eyes. As long as we all vote, we'll crush trump this go around... again.
French here: we do not have big big merit the RN guys are very terrible. When they were on TV in between the two rounds the journalists asked them question outside of immigration topic. They were like : kids aheumm euuuhhh...
come on... France is do not deserve such level of incompetency. Also far right energy is low level of energy . Media control and stuff . Most french do not like that. Also a lot of non white people do not like the energy and death letter that some of the RN guys sent to people like "you gonna leave, next time it's your turn" blah blah blah . IG influencer said to people to vote!!
Europe GDP is over EU 30 trillion, it is their fight they could exert just an extremely weak effort would be enough to send the Russians packing, with bo help from the US whatsoever. Indeed, our help, while massive compared to any help from European countries was minimal, Europeans could replace us and multiple our help 20 times, but they lack will, and all their governments are thoroughly corrupted by Russian money.
Russians have extensive holding in London, and Paris as well as the rest of Europe. The Russians have their hooks into all of their politicians. Still, stand up Europe, make this your finest hour.
RIP Pete 💔
Congratulations France & the U.K.
Thank you Jake! ✌🏽
If Putin is unhappy, well that just makes my day
Thank you, France!!
Do you think Melenchon is really better than Bardella?
Ty jake❤❤❤
Why can't the EU sanction Tucker Carlson? And then YT can ban him
Because we need someone to laugh at.
I think *ucker Carlson is on Elon's X Platform, not YT.
As far as I know, he has committed no crime to be convicted of or sanctioned. Also, his following uses multiple platforms. He has a weird thing about supporting Putin, but I dont think he has actually broken any laws.
@@makelvin A shit-poster does need people to laugh as well.
Being a complete and utter buffoon is a human right in the EU. That's par for the course in a democracy. It's annoying, it causes friction, and sometimes it causes real trouble when they get in public positions, but it's the least broken system that we know of.
Sunak conceded and stepped down, unlike someone else we could mention.
Are you referring to a certain orange hued, 320 lb toddler?
@@davidgray8089 That would be him.
He who must not be named
You left out 'deranged' in it's description.
@@canuckprogressive.3435 Probably up there as one of the stupidest things he has done, peaceful transfers of power are one of the most valuable traditions a country can posses, you would have to be crazy to want to go back to the practice of bloody civil wars every succession.
I just arrived in kyiv to help deliver more broe mobiles! Well done jake
OMG how classy was that speech by Rishi Sunak? Can you imagine whiney Trump giving a speech like that ?
I can't. I get second hand embarrassment when he speaks.
No chance. Trumpie is not a politician but a greedy, filthy and misogynistic business character.
And Jake only played half the speech. I'm no Tory, but I felt a little sorry for him... for about a minute.
The election campaign was SIX WEEKS. The result was known the next day, Friday. The new PM assigned his ministers to their various departments over the weekend and EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING was in place to carry on running the country by Monday morning. There won't be another election for up to 5 years and, when there is, there will not be any attempts to exclude groups of voters; quite the opposite, local governments regularly send forms to every household for people to self-register as a voter in both local and national elections.
Imagine that America!
Yeah, hopefully the Tory party will self reflect and fix their issues. It's best if all parties are sensible and do their job right, that way no matter who wins an election the country will be alright.
Putin is a professional rake stepper oh my God
Silent Bob is a legendary rake stepper!
But he's a pro at shifting the blame. This isn't his first rodeo.
I have faith in America, and Humaity as a whole. there are reasons for these national parties, but that time for now has passed. The time we live in now has to be a vote for the whole not jsut the country, as the whole is affecting our individual countries and our living standards. To not assist Ukraine period, is affecting votes here in the UK and France it seems ;O) WD France, and this GOOD to see, I have faith In America they too will find their way and it will be the right way for the whole I am sure. ;O) much love to all free societies of the world x
Hi Jake! Slava Ukrani 🇺🇦
Brutal nine days in US politics. I am looking forward to Jake's take.
Jill stands healthy and ready to serve. Some of her previous decisions seem tepid and insufficient for the Ukrainian's requests.
I wasn't expecting the RN to lose, so as a French who voted for the NPF, these results are a relief!
For us all across Europe!
Finally the truth of who MAGA represents.
Putin
The Kremlin is only one sponsor of MAGA. There are other billionaires who also want a weakened American regulatory apparatus. If you notice, the Kremlin and allies always say the opposite of their true intentions. "Clear Skies Initiative" was supposed to gut the Clean Air Act, for example. "Make America Great Again" is also a con... their goal is self-enrichment, and the slogan is supposed to distract people from understanding their real goal, aa usual. That's why Putin said he had no intention to invade Ukraine... right before he invaded. That's how it goes.
"Clear Skies" was sponsored by some of the other billionaires, not Kremlin. It was just an example of saying the opposite of the real intentions.
was there every any doubt?
Rest in peace, Peter. You did good Brother. Thank you!
Putler must fall!
Thank you for your support and work!
