@@ReikonKarite how’s it holding up man? Beginner over here 🙋 planning to get a race quad for basically the love for speed and freestyle! Ik it’s way too powerful for a beginner but would ya have any tips for a novice?
The Mach r5 frame is fantastic frame for a beginner, really did me well. It's abit on the heavier side but that also means more durability. And it's usually quite available because everyone wants the really light frames. I've heard the tiny trainer is really good too, and a perfect park / back yard ripper. If your worried about power you can just run a throttle cap on the 5 inch, I started on a 75% throttle cap and have slowly worked my way up to 85 now.
My biggest tip would be probably just get really cheap stuff initially and just get a ton of stick time in, if you got a multigp chapter or drone racing club near you join them and just go to every event and practice they do. My beginner set up was speedybee stack, Mach r5 iflight frame and Xing 1800 kv motors, and analogue vtx. This setup ran at about £250, didn't change it until I was 6/7 months into the hobby. Oh and getting on the SIM and velocidrone helps a ton. My home club run a sim series, If your interested come join the discord and come along it's every Wednesday 8pm (GMT+1)!

Yeah, first 2/3 months I was using v1 frame on one quad and V2 frame on the other. Later in the vid both my quads were the V2 frame

@@ReikonKaritewas thinking of the tinytrainer but since I love high speeds I’d like a balance between the two
