Thank you ! I'm a little confused- When carrying out a bite registration/CR inter-occlusal record to mount a lower model onto an articulator do you need to measure the first point of tooth contact in CR? or is it just for record of if there are discrepancies in the future you cannot locate?

It's just to know for future reference how well you have replicated the CR mounting on the articulator - it should be the same first point of contact.
