In my new York appartment, a 3 inch thick foam will take 50% of my available space .

This is brilliant. I knew command strips would come in somewhere…but it’s the cardboard! Perfect.

0:35 Great. I bought like 100 of these. 🤦 Screw it, lemme just see what the best pattern is anyway.

I’m looking to something similar but I record in my living room so I need something I can easily remove. I’m thinking of adding hooks to hang moving blankets and adding the foam onto the blankets. Do you think that would be effective?

Hi. I chanced upon your channel and I am learning a lot. We have a challenge at work where we can hear sound from the room next door. We are a non profit and can’t afford expensive renovations. Will installing floor to ceiling acoustic panels (the kind which have wood strips attached to acoustic foam) work?

In a home theatre set-up, and on the front wall (located behind LCR & TV screen), what do you recommend on acoustic panel placement here...?
If you may suggest the step by step priority-wise please (and the thickness of the panels according to their position) . Thank you in advance!

Also if I’m only using the room to record videos and not any speakers is it only necessary to add the foam directly on the wall I’m talking at?

Melamine foam acoustic panels are good.

Certainly a lot better than the quilted moving blankets that I've been using. Thank you!!

Blankets have their purpose. But not as much in this case.
