Good stream Adam, and others. Sorry I missed another 'Conversing with Poets'
I was looking a poem from a couple of years ago and thought it might make a good topic... poems inspired by other poems.
I'll post it in the Cove.
I find the question of three favourite poems intriguing. A very early memory is My father reciting 'The Cremation of Sam McGee' by Robert W Service, so that ranks up there. 'In Flanders Fields' by John McCrae is another top poem to me. Let me not forget 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening' by Robert Frost.

Love this Herb, yes it is a tough question but for me these 3 poems really touch a heartstring every.single.time that I read them, which I why I can confidently say they are my all time top 3. Although, of course there are also great poems I resonate with a different time.
