Ah, Chopper, you're such a sweet boy. Thank you for getting your mom out of the house and down at the river finding amazing rocks. It's nice to be tired out after having so much fun. And now you get ice cream! It'll be time for a nice nap when you get home. Sweet dreams! 🐾🐾
Lol !! You wore chopper out!! It’s so much fun to watch you guys go rock hounding. I didn’t know he could climb trees ! Cool to have the pictures of the rocks cut mixed in the same video as when you find them. Keep rockin!!👍😎
@@MontanaRockMom I know!! Snow in the yard today. Rain stopped our last trip because of gumbo mud. I'm gonna have to brings a broom to swish the snow off soon. Keep on getting out there, for the peace it brings in this crazy world. Oh and I love that quiet of the rivers and deserts too. Peace and quiet... and time to think and appreciate our beautiful natural wonders. Thanks again MRM. Love what you share!!!
HAPPY PEAKIN inside! YAY! CHOPPER even gotta get ROCK FINDS...... Really liked the AGATE with yellow & the AGATE QUARTZ center ALL BEAUTIFUL unique.......EARTH TREASURES.....thank YOU MRM!
What a fun trip. You found lots of neat stuff. I likes all the sneak peaks or even just peaks. Drogon is the best, but Chopper pointed out a coupe of stones for you and then stood sentry on the log. Be happy, keep the goodness coming, and stay safe!
Well, Chopper is a puppy😆 I think it is great he doesn’t wander far. Your Finnish dog is beautiful. I can’t find him in my dog book…but he’s lovely. You found some great rocks for being close to town….good eye!
Amazing finds, beautiful agates. What a difference a nice clean blade makes cutting wise! Oh most no groove lines in those cuts. Beautiful slabs, thanks for sharing them.
Nice finds! Love this new format! I’m guessing doing it this way takes longer to edit, but it’s really nice to be able to see inside each rock as you find them.
* Take a tooth brush with you.. ~ What is the Black on the outside of the stone at the 11:15 mark? & the 11:48 mark ?? It seems to be on Jasper & agate..
Beautiful finds but this time i think the jaspers won. Oh the lovely colours and patterns they have. And again with the green agate. Lucky. Thanks for taking the time to make this video
@@MontanaRockMom i love the slabbing videos especially since Drogon can slab such big rocks and some of the ones you have let Theo slab at your place are amazing also. Lol i run a 4.5 inch tile saw but it works so i wont complain. Thank you Kim
You could've carved the monster opaque agate. I see how you secure your rock in Drogons teeth and I would just like to recommend that you use blocks and wood wedges to secure it better so it absolutely doesn't move while you cut. Also that slippage may cause damage to your blade or the blade assembly. It's always important for the life of your equipment.
This video came up as autoplay and I decided to watch it again, I am so glad I did. Did you keep that piece you cut at the 7:30 mark? The black one with the little bits of blue chalcedony/agate in it and the touch of green? It looks like it could be black jade. I know there is brecciated jade, no reason the black stuff can't do it. Supposedly you can find jade in the river there, I just googled it and there's even an article about a Billings guy auctioning off his grandfather's collection. I don't know what made me think jade when I saw it, I know almost nothing about it aside from the awesome molecular structure, but something in my brain said "oooh, jade" when I did. It also said something about cookies I'm going to have to investigate in a minute. I'm probably completely off in my guess, but I figured I'd put it out there. I know that what you see in real life compared to through a screen can be completely different.
Ken...you know, I had not considered that....but I am so glad you mentioned this. I have found jade on the Yellowstone....most of the time not realizing it until I bring it home, tumble it or someone else looks at my rocks and says..."Hey, did you know this is jade?" I need to get better at being able to identify jade.
I do enjoy your videos but when you're showing your slabs or what you've cut I wish you'd hold the slab much more still. The slab is moving around so fast I can't see what's going on in most of them. Some are very nice and still making the shot very nice and enjoyable, but today's weren't even remotely easy to watch. I hope you don't take offense to this comment because that's not my intent. I watch your post all the time. I come back time after time after time so you must be doing something right. So, please keep up the good work, just work a little harder on what I've suggested. Signed, a faithful viewer
Being able to see inside the rocks as we see them during the video is cool.

Thanks for coming along Timothy!
I like sneak peeks too! Love watching you wash your rocks off to see what you find! 👀 very beautiful sneak peeks, thanks for slabbing those for us😁
Chopper is such a fun dog. Not a bad bunch of rocks for a quick little adventure. Thanks for sharing the fun.
The dust and dirt are often hidden gems, sometimes it is so big difference when you clean the rocks!! And, almost none can beat Jaspers in colors!!
I love that you love jasper too 🧡💛💚
Thanks for another Monday video. I loved when you found the rocks and then cut them to let us see whats inside. Great video!
Love the quartz centered one. Thanks for the great video!
Wyo winter is coming!

Loved the find and peak so nice to see some instead of wondering what's inside.
Another Great Rockhounding video!!!! Thanks!!!!!

Kim, thanks for the sneak-peaks; they made a nice addition to the video. Looks like Chopper's got a great, easy-going pal!

Thanks for showing the sneak peak with your finds.
I love all of your videos and your find such great rocks. You are so fortunate to live in Montana.
Find and peek, grab and slab it’s all good.🤓

Leslye, the black color? They both do have black jasper in them... how do you do that where you make the time stamp where I can just click on it?
Love the sneak peeks!😊

MRM: "No. No. NO! No. No. No. No. No. NO. NO! NO! No. No."
Chopper: "So, yes, then?"
Bahahahaha!!!!! Chopper was sure my answer was yes.
Chopper needs to run off energy!

Any time I find that things are moving too quickly for me to appreciate I jump up to the settings gear and slow down the video speed. Hope this helps!
I'll do better I promise 🤓
