Rax is usually my go-to for game strategy. I've been watching his Diablo content for years and now his PoE 2 content and I've learned so much. He also seems like the nicest guy without much ego or attitude.
well story telling wise, it was shit bro, only gameplay is worth it. Evnironment design is also good but story is generic af. Sure Vaal culture seemed cool and stuff but every game has it no?
Story presentation is some of the worst in the industry. Gameplay was some of the best. I'm overall disappointed with the campaign because of the terrible story telling.
There is a easy solution for people who want more bosses, add a precursor tablet that adds bosses to maps, this way people who want bosses can focus them and people who don’t don’t have too. A nice easy simple solution
This is my first time listening to either of these content creators. Hearing Raxxanterax express he ideas about how GGG should make the game accessible to new players while still giving the old players without slandering either group was encouraging. Will look forward to getting into both Tri and Raxxanterax's content.
Towers could be boss rush, like each floor is a fight against the boss, then you would face 4 smaller bosses and 1 stronger boss at the end, a place to challenge and win good and unique items. And the more advanced the towers, the more floors or bosses they would have.
Well to be fair, doesn't look like GGG is looking to learn from other ARPGs either. LE has some amazing systems (crafting, factions) and what we currently have in POE2 is a joke. Crafting is glorified gambling and trade is both required and a mess. Edit. No, I don't hate the game, I just think it misses a few key aspects.
I honestly like the diablo 4 crafting more than PoE2 and it is not a good system either, but at least its not just a gamble. The good part is that they are certainly gonna imprpve it
It definitely does need work. The crafting bench from the first game made things a lot more deterministic, and I wish we had that instead of the reforming bench which is again, a gamble. Poe used to have very good crafting systems, but those were removed and swapped out in favor of less complexity...when we need a bit of that complexity back.
I feel like in LE no matter how much or little you played you could always craft gear upgrades with little investment. It’s too rng with poe2 and I feel like I’ve had to buy a majority of my items from trade vs being able to craft decent gear. I hope they tweak this current system
I’ve watched raxx a few years now. He really does have a way of explaining things. Even when I wasn’t playing d3 I still watched his videos when he posted. When I did start playing d3 again his weekly guides got me thru them a lot easier.
They're kinda tedious though, some builds really struggle before they pick up steam and can get stuck on progression way before you get there but my biggest gripe is how every single playstyle has to be dodge based making effectively all builds kind of feel the same. My playstyle is usually "trading" but it stops working towards the endgame of just about every single souls game ever because you can't poise through most boss attacks even with massive hyperarmor, only superarmor (which is rare) works and you can't tank many hits, even in Elden ring, at NG 2+3 ish, even with over 90% damage absorption you still can't survive on trading on endgame bosses which is silly. So it's always hit / dodge which gets boring very fast
@@7ilver Someone can't read. Also doesn't understand souls at all. It's not like taking a hit garantees a counter hit. It's not like i said i wanted a full hit gameplay either, i like to throw in a couple defenses, dodging the obvious big hits, trading the lighter blows, i'd like to throw in block here and there but blocking is absolute dogwater in these games because it's animations lock you in place where any superarmor ash doesn't and the block counter has crap hyperarmor meaning dodging is superior to block no matter the build and trading becomes largely unviable outside endure towards the endgame, that's boring to me. Moreover blocking eats more frames than dodging does, costs more stamina even on heavier shields.
I'm a new player to POE. I never liked POE1, diablo3 and never even thought about buying diablo4. I'm totally addicted to POE2 because it was difficult. If GGG makes POE2 easier then I will probably quit because I will find it boring. Too many games these days treat new players like they are braindead, I want to use my brain and that's why I like POE2.
@@Xerus35 Its not gonna get easier, the higher you climb the ladder the complexity and the difficulty spikes. I would say casual can reach the end game but would have a hard time reaching T15s and would need a great amount of time and dedication reaching pinnacle content. Not to mention, leagues are only available for a limited amount of time, so they might not be able to participate with that as well.
@@JahnSymonRivera Its becoming easier, but in different way. Act 1-3 is more about movement and proper skill play. Meanwhile endgame becomes one click spam 99% of the time.
@@nicolaos355 really? how many pinnacle bosses have you defeated? and at what level? have you maxed any end game mechanics like breach? ritual? delirium? Have you even defeated the arbiter?
What Raxx says about making smaller changes is so important. In PoE 1, when they did ES changes they changed it on the bases, they changed the values on the tree and they changed and they changed it one more place which I can't recall at the moment. Regardless, by changing them at 2-3 places the compounding effect was so strong that ES ended up gutted for more than 6 months. Life became the meta and everyone had to push towards finding ways to increase life. I can see a similar thing happening now since ES is just way too strong compared to life, and there is no way to build high life without gains on the tree.
Their stance at taking away life node in tree but keep es node is questionable. melee having hard time when armour suck and no extra defence layer for it
I actually think they should reconsider grim feast and leave ES as it is until they fix armour. At the moment ES is the most viable means of adding EHP to a character outside of res capping. Evasion doesn't really count in my opinion since that allows you to avoids hits, it doesn't mean you can take bigger hits. Obviously evasion is still a defensive layer, not denying that.
@@ChilledUnskilled I agree. Grim Feast is even post nerf still too strong. Adding on Writhe and you can literally just slap on those 2 and have your defences solved. Takes away from much player agency to actually solve the defensive problems. And ye, evasion is insane at 80%+, but it only works 99% of the time and that one hit is enough to kill a character. Can't rely solely on it.
There is a way to gain a decent amount of health at the moment, but it's not a great option: - Str stacking as gemling legionnaire (makes it harder to gear since mercenary typically uses dex + str gear) and using a Kaom's Heart (Kaom's Heart comes with two huge downsides: no spirit and low armor)
Hearing the thought process is the best. I want to see what choices someone makes, including early game, why they make them, and what they may try to plan.
These 2 Content Creators are a breath of fresh air. They help Developers achieve their artistic vision of a game and help players maximize the enjoyment of that experience.
Good talk! To the point of ascendancy: i got so disencouraged to ascend on my lvl 84 invoker because the very last boss just oneshotted my 2,5k honor with one attack. 45 minutes of gameplay where i had to be concentrated anf focused was just gone i a was spend for the day.
If you aren’t using relics you are making it so much harder for yourself. Cap your honour resistance at 75 and throw in a couple other bonuses from relics if you can. You should never get one shotted. Even the 4th boss for the last ascendancy points should only take around 100 honour when he hits you.
@@simony9611 Same thing has happened to me with capped honour resist. Swirls filled the arena, boss was turning around with lightning, I got boxed in, tried to roll through his lightning and instantly lost 7k honour ending my run. I ended up saying screw that place, bought shards for chaos trial and whooped the boss on my 2nd attempt.
Trying to run Sekhemas for the third Ascension as a SSF Warrior with 1900hp (honour) broke me, I turned off the game when I found myself in that same room with the single giant guarding the glowing gate, never stood a chance....That one broke me
Yeah...melee builds are not built for trial of the sekhemas. I'm getting nervous for my 3rd too, since my hexblast character needs to be very close to enemies to hit them.
Love this style of video and the banter - I have to say, your dad pretends to be casual - back when we used to run the Neverwinter nights Dragon mountain - your Dad earned the title of 'IronButts' for his ability to grind - i.e. we had competitions to see who could go from lvl 1 to 40 the fastest in each class i think he eon 2 classes at the same time.... and that mod was serious map grind and chopping wood type bosses... keep up the good vids!
Ascendancy: first one, no prob. ultimatum, died to the throw up bird 3 times, the other bird twice. got the manticore, one shot it with ease.....wtf.....
For me, it wasn't that bad. I just had to figure out mods my character could handle and which were a death sentence. I quickly learned that arena hazards were a bad idea and that making enemies stronger wasn't the end of the world if I killed them fast enough. The bird I managed to complete first try...barely.
I haven't made it into UX Design, but when I think about user flows or customer journeys, his succinct to in-depth flow from video to stream lights up my brain.
Raxx has been my favorite ARPG creator since I first saw his videos in D3. Watching him get even better at streaming and CC for D4, LE, POE1 and 2 has been great. Just a very down to earth guy with a IDGAF attitude where it matters. Great talk!
2 of my favorite guys on the internet together! Great video. Raxx is an ex debater! Raxx also a fellow debater + ARPG player dual class here [*wave] . Tri - been offline for a few months but I'm back and great to see your videos! Thank you for your awesome content Tri and Raxx
It’s worth noting that D2 didn’t have “trap puzzle areas” and the nearest thing to it (act 3 organs) was universally skipped unless mandatory at the start of the ladder
I love the way he explains things, straight to the point. I love that he uses maxroll instead of mobalytics, showing different skill gems and passive skill tree points while leveling. He points out the rotation and important stats on the character and on gear. Cares to explain how to get a build going on the early levels, not only caring about endgame. Honestly, he is the first guy I saw and I'm screwed, every other one I try to watch seem to lack information or gloss over things I can't piece together. Yeah, I'm dumb at these games, completely new to the genre, but I honestly think he is responsible for a lot of people getting into these games.
Love Raxx, anytime I want to look at something or search a build or anything, I look to see if Raxx made a video on it. Sometimes I'll just listen to his streams to hear what he says. While other times I listen to it for his playlist at work
i just got idea for sanctume (sakhema) - whenever u faced with afliction that u dont want (cant) to take, there could be option like "get afliction X OR sacrifice 25(or any)% of honour" donno where else to post it so i put it here happy ny :)
Many of the things that you call are minor they end up being a substantive amount of work. Just call it for what it is. Changing the tower system, ascendancies, citadel hunting, the spikes of damage (white mobs killing you at end game). There are some major changes that are needed for end game. Having said that the game is great for an early access, but give more accurate feedback so that GGG can improve on an already good game.
Awesome video! Holy crap, can't believe that I just watched this for an hour and a half! xD Granted, I was playing Brotato the entire time - but still! I was very much entertained throughout. :)
"They know how to make games!" That implies a plural. This is literally their second game. And it's built on the shell of the first game, complete with backend systems that aren't even used.
I love seeing all the new content creators on poe 2. Keep it up guys
Regarding towers being changed, Imagine if towers was like from other games where its a tower of different enemies on different floors. You fight your way up each floor with a mini boss at the top. Maybe there is 4 floors but you can choose to finish the tower after each floor. But if you choose to finish every floor you get bigger bonuses to the maps around the tower. Maybe if you finish 1 floor you can only add 1 map modifier to the tower but if you finish all floors you can add multiple map modifiers to the area. First floor would be just white normal enemies maybe 20-50 of them. second floor the same but add in a couple rare and magic enemies, third floor same again but more of them then last floor they could have some mini boss. You would also get increased chances of the modifier tablets (forgot there name) being dropped from doing these towers compared to anywhere else.
46:00 A better idea for towers imo would be to take the tablets that give the bonuses like Ritual, Excavation, etc. and turn those into "Map likes" that can only be put into tower nodes. But these tablets also come with tiers. So a t15 Tablet in a tower, turns the tower map into a t15 difficulty but the reward is then spread around the area. Now the big change is: The afflicted maps are also LOCKED to be t15 maps. So if the way point next to the tower has been afflicted by a t15 tablet, you can only run that waypoint with a t15 tablet. This would make it so it matters what tablet you put into the tower and gambling for higher boosts comes with a risk and the afflicted way points are also then locked into that difficulty. It makes you plan ahead and consider risk versus reward. Much more interesting than the current system.
Bro, that dude at the end of the video wasn't "Hate playing", he was trying to make it "WORK" and he fkn couldn't’t. Sorry, man, had to be said. That's determination. He tried; really tried and, got frustrated.
I don't have nothing against this guy, but saying "best" guide maker while PoE vetarans has been in this game since it's inception is stupid af. I mean look at Pohx RF guide, or Ziz's PoE university. Once PoE 2 is fully released those guys will continue to make "the best guides". Like there's no comparison to being with. 🤦
@@nexeus7302the problem those guys have is they aren’t new. They brush over details that they is obvious knowledge that only experienced players know. For endgame build guides sure those guys are great but raxx is the best to get into the game.
Best is subjective. I think he's really good and easy to follow. But there are even better builds. It's true though that some of them definitely skip over things which isn't ideal.

Interesting that Raxx was a trainer at one point.. I did the same thing for a big portion of my career and I think it's helped me immensely as a RUclipsr also.
Guys. You can reforge 3 way stones of the same tier (regardless of quality) into a waystone of a tier above. Just reforge your low end waystones once a tab fills up and you'll end up cleaning it. 😮
Two easy tower fixes to give them value and make them really sought after: 1) All maps affected by the precursor tablet also get the modifiers of the map you put in the tower 2) All maps affected by the precursor tablet have X extra attempts if you die, determined by the tier of the waystone you put in the tower
The crazy thing about raxx is , that when he explain sumthing it is literaly how i excactly feel while i play this game...He is a real Og...OriginalGamer ❤
Mechanics are fun because they’re learnable through time and effort. With enough experience and proper gearing, players can counter them effectively. Path of Exile (PoE) should not devolve into a Vampire Survivors-style game, where builds essentially play themselves. Games like Mario are successful because the player has to actively overcome challenges-Mario doesn’t auto-jump through stages. If GGG wants to elevate PoE without relying on constant number adjustments (buffs or nerfs), they need to focus on mechanics as part of the RNG variety. Instead of giving every enemy a static “poison on hit” effect (as an example.. can be applied to anything), add unique, dynamic ways for enemies to apply poison or other mechanics. For instance: Some enemies could gain the use of blow darts for ranged poison attacks. Others might visibly coat their weapons with poison before attacking, creating a telegraphed moment for counterplay. If you dodge-roll through an attack, the poison could hit another nearby creature instead. Certain fire spells might trigger explosions that damage both players and monsters when used strategically. The idea is to create challenges that require active engagement rather than solving everything through raw numbers. Numerical gates are just puzzles to optimize-but good mechanics elevate gameplay across all levels. A low-level fight and a high-level fight should feel fundamentally similar: moments to attack based on your speed, openings created by dodge-rolling, or status effects that shift the dynamics. For example: A poison effect might stagger a boss and give them recovery frames, creating a new attack window. A bleed effect could slow the boss, while a guard break might remove an annoying attack from their rotation. A well-timed parry or stun might completely change the flow of a fight. These mechanics invite creative solutions and foster interaction, not just optimization. When mechanics drive gameplay, encounters become more rewarding to overcome than just a test of “whether your build came online.” Until GGG embraces this kind of interactive gameplay design, PoE risks remaining a glorified Vampire Survivors. What players really want is the sense of engagement and challenge that Act 1 provides, carried through to the endgame-not just frontloaded at the start.
For towers: Why not make a tower system like lost arc ? The more tower you come across, the higher you get, the more challenging level rooms are and you get special encounters with specific mechanics.
Raxx is my favorite content creator(no offense tri)of all time. He is so genuine and helpful it is really a breath of fresh air in the content creator space.
During one of Raxx's streams, someone told him his Monk build was not good for leveling. I have not tried his build so I can't agree or disagree. Anyway, the viewers were all over this guy basically insulting him, and Raxx was like, "No need for that". And then he helped him troubleshoot it live. It was really nice to see. Even if ARPGs might not be my main games (who knows, after PoE 2 goes full release they might be), I think some of the content creators of the ARPG genres are some of the best. Raxx is one of them. There is only one thing I disagree with a bit, which is his statement that new players are the ones who want the difficulty toned down in PoE 2. The feedback I have read over and over was from PoE 1 players who find this is not a PoE game. They don't want dodging. They want lots of loot, etc. They basically want this to be an updated PoE 1 graphics wise. Diablo 4 players who really like D4 also tend to not like PoE 2. Whereas I have seen several videos from new players who did NOT like PoE 1, and really like PoE 2 (and I am one of them), because of the dodge roll and the mix between gearing and skill. PoE 2 IS more accessible than PoE 1 from the point of view of knowledge. It might be less accessible in other ways though.
Other have pointed this out, but the people having an easy time getting through bosses and maps and stuff are super min maxing builds. Regular people don't or can't do that very well and struggle a lot. So when you say I just threw a build together with whatever you thought would works, that's a massive amount of experience advantage over the average player
The only thing that blizzard learned from all of this is that they should immediately start working on D5 and hype up the development by officially announcing it with gameplay trailer when POE 2 officially launches outside of ea hahahah
24:16 It"s even worse if you fight her co-op, because she can swap targets on that rolly attack mid air.... She also glitches out every time I fight her (did the full story 3 times in coop, so fought her 6 times)

@@giladeliyahu2716 Cruel act 1-3 is just placeholder for act 4-6 so act 4 is a thing
The cruel acts don't really count imo. The endgame is bare bones, yeah, but as updates come, it should get more full and interesting.
Does act 1-3 count on which class your playing?
I swear Talkative Tri is the community Therapist for POE2 content creators.
He's Poe's Rhykker
The next Dr. K. 🤭
Haha this is a perfect description!
@@Ariaaae minus the education?
GGG should pay him to run a scripted ad on every D4 video. D4 has taken its final form
Rax is usually my go-to for game strategy. I've been watching his Diablo content for years and now his PoE 2 content and I've learned so much. He also seems like the nicest guy without much ego or attitude.
Man I hope they release the rest of the campaign in PoE2 relatively soon, I was actually enjoying it.
well story telling wise, it was shit bro, only gameplay is worth it. Evnironment design is also good but story is generic af. Sure Vaal culture seemed cool and stuff but every game has it no?
Story presentation is some of the worst in the industry. Gameplay was some of the best. I'm overall disappointed with the campaign because of the terrible story telling.
@@MEanPenguin908 naw story was legit good and interesting, its just a different way to do it
They aren't releasing the rest until full release.
There is a easy solution for people who want more bosses, add a precursor tablet that adds bosses to maps, this way people who want bosses can focus them and people who don’t don’t have too. A nice easy simple solution
This is the way. It would be greater still if it was possible to have multiple bosses some of the time.
Great idea.
Sounds like a smart move to me as well.
My thoughts exactly ❤ +1
Problem with this ( if I can call it that ) is that bosses are very rewarding. If we get more access to bosses GGG might nerf their rewards.
This is my first time listening to either of these content creators. Hearing Raxxanterax express he ideas about how GGG should make the game accessible to new players while still giving the old players without slandering either group was encouraging. Will look forward to getting into both Tri and Raxxanterax's content.
OVER AN HOUR OF RAX????
I'm in heaven.
Very true, we discuss exactly this!
LE's ssf faction felt soooo goood to play, I love it
I honestly like the diablo 4 crafting more than PoE2 and it is not a good system either, but at least its not just a gamble.
When I did start playing d3 again his weekly guides got me thru them a lot easier.
too bad hes known to be wrong about most things.
tri you are a great interviewer i appreciate what you guys do for the community, keep asking great questions!!
Agreed, Raxx has incredible 'complex issues presenting' skills. Great dude! 🤘
To put it simply, the mechanics need to feel "fair". Hard is fine - souls games are hard, but they are fair.
*Mostly* fair. I'm a huge souls like games guy but you're on something if you think all of them are fair lol.
@@exquisitedoomlapointe185so instead of hit/dodge you play hit/hit/hit/hit….. yeah that sounds way more fun 🙄
@@exquisitedoomlapointe185 If thats what you consider fun more power to you 🙏🏼
I'm a new player to POE. I never liked POE1, diablo3 and never even thought about buying diablo4. I'm totally addicted to POE2 because it was difficult. If GGG makes POE2 easier then I will probably quit because I will find it boring. Too many games these days treat new players like they are braindead, I want to use my brain and that's why I like POE2.
all the games treat you like you are a retrded paralyzed vegetable, and the majority loves to be handheld...
literally a shit era rn
@@Xerus35 Its not gonna get easier, the higher you climb the ladder the complexity and the difficulty spikes. I would say casual can reach the end game but would have a hard time reaching T15s and would need a great amount of time and dedication reaching pinnacle content. Not to mention, leagues are only available for a limited amount of time, so they might not be able to participate with that as well.
@@JahnSymonRivera Its becoming easier, but in different way. Act 1-3 is more about movement and proper skill play. Meanwhile endgame becomes one click spam 99% of the time.

Great cast as ever.
There is a way to gain a decent amount of health at the moment, but it's not a great option:
- Str stacking as gemling legionnaire (makes it harder to gear since mercenary typically uses dex + str gear) and using a Kaom's Heart (Kaom's Heart comes with two huge downsides: no spirit and low armor)
@@ChilledUnskilled eh, not everyone is able to run grim fest tho, they need to use their spirit for other things
Hearing the thought process is the best. I want to see what choices someone makes, including early game, why they make them, and what they may try to plan.
The story of PoE2 so far:
"There's a beast in a cart and the guy cut the cart so the beast can run away"
Masterful storytelling.
Why are you dissing yourself?
Thank you for the interview Tri. Raxx is a really articulate person that is very easy to follow.

It's a 2 way street, as GGG definitely watch videos like these and take that feedback into consideration when patching the game.
Talkative tri is a good host. Ask some
Good questions. Keep it up
Did I got a Gift from you Tri 😮? Im suddenly a Member 🎉thankss so much man !
Great TriTalk !! I love Rax
Watching this video kept me entertained while I was stuck on the toilet after back to back chipotle meals over the weekend. Thanks guys, great pod 👍
Great talk!
Oh man, you really went there with the thumbnail! lol😂😂😂 I didn’t see that until after listening to the interview.
2 of my favorite guys on the internet together! Great video. Raxx is an ex debater! Raxx also a fellow debater + ARPG player dual class here [*wave] . Tri - been offline for a few months but I'm back and great to see your videos! Thank you for your awesome content Tri and Raxx
Man, what an amazing conversation! Thank you tri and raxx!
It’s worth noting that D2 didn’t have “trap puzzle areas” and the nearest thing to it (act 3 organs) was universally skipped unless mandatory at the start of the ladder
That was a wonderful talk :) thanks guys
Raxx has helped me understand PoE passive tree waaaay better now. Love the PoE content you’re putting out
Thank you both, really good chat❤
loved the chat, thank you both!
What a fun interview. Really love our former D4 creators.
Hehe jokes, jokes. :)
Love Raxx, anytime I want to look at something or search a build or anything, I look to see if Raxx made a video on it. Sometimes I'll just listen to his streams to hear what he says. While other times I listen to it for his playlist at work
New to this channel and to POE2. Really enjoyed the chat, thanks for doing it!
this is one of the best poe2 pod casts out so far. well done guys
i just got idea for sanctume (sakhema) - whenever u faced with afliction that u dont want (cant) to take, there could be option like "get afliction X OR sacrifice 25(or any)% of honour"
donno where else to post it so i put it here
happy ny :)
Glad Raxx is getting his flowers, he’s really good at explaining ARPGS in a way that make you forget how complex they are and you just kinda ‘do it’.
This was a great listen!
Another great podcast, really love these chill chats between you and all my favorite ARPG creators.

Awesome video! Holy crap, can't believe that I just watched this for an hour and a half! xD Granted, I was playing Brotato the entire time - but still! I was very much entertained throughout. :)
raxxs closing words are so true, love your content and the positivity! ❤
Raxx and you're wearing the Lions hoodie. What a way to start my morning!
"They know how to make games!"
That implies a plural. This is literally their second game. And it's built on the shell of the first game, complete with backend systems that aren't even used.
I love seeing all the new content creators on poe 2. Poe1 I pretty much stuck with the main softcore blasters and hcssf gauntlet gamers, and now we got raxx, dm, and all sorts of other guys that I would've never watched that make great content and I love that all y'all are popping off with poe2.
“Skill twig” instead of skill tree fr D4 had me cracking up… didn’t even hear a thing Raxx said after that lmao

Raxx is best guidemaker ever.
Absolutely
@@nexeus7302the problem those guys have is they aren’t new. They brush over details that they is obvious knowledge that only experienced players know. For endgame build guides sure those guys are great but raxx is the best to get into the game.
Best is subjective. I think he's really good and easy to follow. But there are even better builds. It's true though that some of them definitely skip over things which isn't ideal.

Where do they start talking about the game? Im struggling here. OK it's 11:30, jesus christ.
Wow what an awsome interjuv/talk/pod, love it
its crazy how this guy can talk for literally everyone while explaining how things many actively enjoy are actually secretly universally hated
like who the fuck actually cares about the trap rooms in sanctum, people have lots of problems with it but it seems to generally be completely different ones, and you attest that this is something that never works, not a soul ever likes, and can never work in any capacity or implementation? Talk about being full of yourself. Your opinions dont represent everyone ever.
Interesting that Raxx was a trainer at one point.. I did the same thing for a big portion of my career and I think it's helped me immensely as a RUclipsr also.
This was great to watch. I would loved it to be be 2+ hours :) Cheers
Guys. You can reforge 3 way stones of the same tier (regardless of quality) into a waystone of a tier above.
Just reforge your low end waystones once a tab fills up and you'll end up cleaning it. 😮
Two easy tower fixes to give them value and make them really sought after:
1) All maps affected by the precursor tablet also get the modifiers of the map you put in the tower
2) All maps affected by the precursor tablet have X extra attempts if you die, determined by the tier of the waystone you put in the tower
They should add rarity to tower's and take it off gear
For instance:
Some enemies could gain the use of blow darts for ranged poison attacks.
For example:
A poison effect might stagger a boss and give them recovery frames, creating a new attack window.
A bleed effect could slow the boss, while a guard break might remove an annoying attack from their rotation.
A well-timed parry or stun might completely change the flow of a fight.
These mechanics invite creative solutions and foster interaction, not just optimization. When mechanics drive gameplay, encounters become more rewarding to overcome than just a test of “whether your build came online.”
Until GGG embraces this kind of interactive gameplay design, PoE risks remaining a glorified Vampire Survivors. What players really want is the sense of engagement and challenge that Act 1 provides, carried through to the endgame-not just frontloaded at the start.
Well said. This is essentially PoE 1.
I do hope the devs iron this out.
Another great one man. Love the hoodie!!! GO LIONS! 🦁🦁
It might be less accessible in other ways though.
glad you guys touched on the bosses, that was a big complaint of mine. i wanted more perma upgrades as well from the bosses per zone.
The map objectives should be to clear the unique events in the map, and only default to kill all rares on maps that do not have an event
Raxx thinks he's Mr. Negative but he's one of the most wholesome streamers out there. He's just a good guy and that's why he's a pleasure to watch
Agree with Raxx on the Queen of the Filth. That rolling attack has gotten me more than once off guard
This was wholesome. Here for it.

The master of the guidance.
Thank you sir))
Other have pointed this out, but the people having an easy time getting through bosses and maps and stuff are super min maxing builds. Regular people don't or can't do that very well and struggle a lot. So when you say I just threw a build together with whatever you thought would works, that's a massive amount of experience advantage over the average player
The only thing that blizzard learned from all of this is that they should immediately start working on D5 and hype up the development by officially announcing it with gameplay trailer when POE 2 officially launches outside of ea hahahah

You can upgrade way stones on the Reforging bench btw for example 3 Tier 1 maps = 1 Tier 2 map if you don`t want to bother with selling.
