Nope! GRS-STOCKS is tested by the shooters/producers in Ytre Haugen Hornindal Norway where they produce them......loooong time before you,,,,,,sorry.....
Hmmmm........sorry ....after i got some new information its seems like you was the first foreigner to test this stock when you visited Hornindal..congratulations with that!....but Håvard, maybe the little brother Oscar or one of the 25 employees was was first in the world....hehehe!
You shoot with your rife, but you HIT with your stock! This stock is pure norwegian quality. This fantastic composit-stock is light and very strong in same time, and with all adjustibilities you need. Meny sport-shooters here in Norway also agrees that this grip is so anatomic feelgood 2.50-3.01
You sold me on it! OK, I was already sold but you definitely kept pushin! Papa needs a .30-06 or 7mm and that stock would be absolutely perfect! Noticed they put some of your video in one of their YT videos. Cheers!
I was just at the range yesterday with the rifle. Let a couple guys shoot it and both said the next item on their list was a GRS stock. It really is an amazing piece of kit. What other video are you referring to?
Fit is very important, and it is amazing to see how much it improved. But as my marksman coach used to say, "If you really wanna see your groups shrink, eliminate yourself from the equation." There is some truth to it, in that if you aren't changing the rifles path as it recoils, the rifle shoots as well as it can. I'm sure stock fit had a lot to do with it, but did you happen to rebed the action when you installed it? Rebedding a poorly fit stock can also make significant difference. Great video as always ... precision long range always gets the wheels to turning and I can't shut up.
Nope.....pulled it straight from the box and swapped with the factory stock. One of the reasons I bought this stock was so I wouldn't have to bother with bedding .🙂
@@BullseyeBob In terms of precision , I was said GRS was need to rebed the unit or it was no equal in precision competition. I love GRS Bifrost in ergonomy, but I hate buy an rebed, for max precision.
Not only the fit to your liking but I'm sure that custom stock has a lot better bedding system on it...just like airguns...Harmonics!!! Venison in the freezer right there! Nice shooting Bob 👍👍👍🍻 James from Michigan
Hi mate , Hello from Australia Melbourne.. Is your weatherby a varmit barrel ? its not right ? Im looking at getting another vanguard s2 in 223 my last one was almost laser in the sporter stock but i now own a beserk stock and was thinking if it would be wierd to put a sporter barrel in the beserk stock ?
Not sure, but its a heavy barrel no doubt. Look for me on Instagram if you like, ill send you a closer pic of the barrel and you'll be able to tell which one it is.
Damn ....love the smell of gun powder ! The only thing that smells better is full auto ! Love the looks of the new outfit on that one . If it feels better .....it shoots better .
I’ve got a Tikka T1X and I have to say I’m not crazy about the stock but I do pack this Rifle in the woods and I know the Bitfrost is almost 3 pounds. I wonder if it’s going to help my accuracy that much????
I here you bob my rem 700 stock just don’t fit right either.. but I wonder if it has anything to do with shooting our 3500 dollar Fx airguns that fit like a glove?? Just saying I was a powder burner still am for years till I discovered these high power air guns switch back to the powder is shocking lol
What specific model is that vanguard 2? I haven’t seen one (especially the sporter )with a threaded barrel, and even less threading for a muzzle brake.
I want to purchase one of these bi frost stock for my tikka t3 in .308 cal. Is this stock a drop in stock. Without bedding or modifying it to fit my tikka t3 action ?
@@codyhess4790 oh....I have no idea. My stock has an open bottom that works with the floor plate design of my rifle. When I bought the stock, I was told that it could accept my rifle with a magazine conversion if I wanted to do that down the road.
Fun fact: I was the first person in the world to shoot with one😁 They are great!
Thats awesome Matt! Ever since I first saw your rifle with a GRS stock, I knew I needed one. It really is incredible!

Thank you for a good review on a future stock I’ll put on my Remington 700 😉
I'm going to do an actual review with it soon......features and fit, also shooting with scope cam.
@@BullseyeBob Looking forward to it Bob👍

Nice looking stock Bob. Good luck with deer 🦌 hunting this year, I’m thinking they might be in trouble.
What is the price tag on that stock? Looks very interesting and I really like the adjustability and grip. Nice shooting and thanks for sharing.
Between 5 and 6 hundred depending on where you find it.
Beautiful hat!.
John here nice sporting rifle stock at the front but rear stock turns to a bench stock, how's your bedding on it.

Might take me a while to save up for it but… this it totally happening!!!

I meant fluted barrel.
@@rodman7646 Vanguard 2. Off the rack at my LGS. It doesn't say anything on the box as far as a special edition.
I want to purchase one of these bi frost stock for my tikka t3 in .308 cal.
Is this stock a drop in stock. Without bedding or modifying it to fit my tikka t3 action ?
Correct......its a drop in. Have a look at the factory videos on this stock.....its amazing!
Did this lighten up your rifle? The vanguard 2 is a really similar weight to my steyr pro hunter and want to shave a few off for the mountain.
Can't say for sure as I've never weighed them.
Don’t know if anyone has asked but where in America do you get a GRS stock or how
I got my through euro-optic.com they are located in Pennsylvania. They had it in stock and shipped the same day.....delivered to my door the next day.
Is that a weatherby vanguard s2? Cant find a grs stock anywhere that state it Will fit a vanguard s2, I Want one.
The Howa 1500 inlet will fit it perfectly......thats what I have.
I got mine from EuroOptic....they are in PA. Bought it over the phone and it was on my porch the next day.
Is this the HOWA stock? I can't find anything specific for the Vanguard 2.
Yes, Howa 1500
Thanks! I have the same issue with mine. I've been thinking of adding a muzzle break too.
Is your Weatherby considered a Series 2? My owners manual for my 243 vanguard says Series 2.
Yes.....Vanguard 2
@@BullseyeBob That's a fantastic setup you have.
I have a Howa 1500 308 and im thinking of buing the Berserk. Are you still happy with it?
Best regards, Jimmy
100% I just bought an air rifle with GRS stock. Looking for my next high powered rifle and that will get its own GRS stock as well.
Cool hat!
Where did you purchase I’d love to get one for mine!
EuroOptic in PA...or online from them.
What was the weight difference in stocks?
thats a beautiful gun. Have you tried out any of the other GRS stocks? Like Hunter och Sporter?
I have 4 Sporters and just today a Hunter. Been using GRS for a little over two years. Best stocks ever. You can buy direct from factory now.
@@falba1492 really? from factory?
@@P.E.J. - Yeah, you can order from the website. $30 shipping to US.

First!!!!!💯💯💯 Great shooting bob
Congrats to a Viking made stock from Norway bro !!! P.S. do you shoot geese with a .308 ?? A bit ´overkillish´ ? !!
They aren't geese. A pest down is a pest down.....caliber doesn't matter. 250yd shots on large birds is best left to the larger calibers.
Ofcourse you shot better with a comfort chockabsorbant ergonomic design stock!! The grip is actually the thing that makes the most differens.
I from 🇲🇨 my friends
Does it come with a mag?
No.

A sporter stock is not in fact miserable. You just think everything should have a pistol grip so it can look tacticool.
