thank you so much for watching 💛
Hannah's hair.
That's it. That's the comment.
Ps. Please read Darius The Great is Not Okay by Adib Khorram. When I say you will LOVE it-
PERIODT
is this a crooked kingdom reference?
“There’s the laugh” - Kaz to Inej
consistent uploads by hannah where she looks like a goddess in every video?? we stan
🥺💕😭
WE DO.
YES
why are hannahs comments always so wholesome i love it here
This is kind of odd but just wanted to say I love how when giving content warnings you say something like, “if you aren’t comfortable with this topic at the moment” or, “if you aren’t in a place to read something like this right now”...It’s hard to explain but it gives me hope this isn’t a forever thing...it’s just a right now thing. Maybe the topic will always be upsetting and I’ll never want to read anything surrounding it ever again but also maybe not. It’s comforting that I don’t have to choose right now whether I can handle something in perpetuity or not - it’s just how it is in this present moment...I know that sounds strange but overarching point is love your videos they’re a comfort to me and I’m sure many others 💗
again?! hannah you’re spoiling us!! 🥺
☺️💜
when you said series my siri popped up and then you said "Not siri" and i felt like i was in an episode of black mirror for a second lol. I'm always looking for new book recommendations so I loved this video!!
omg 😂😂😂
My fall recs:
The night circus
House of salt and sorrows
Strange the dreamer
The night circus is a really good one that I’m in the middle of right now. Def recommend!
Night circus is such a great book!
house of salt and sorrows is SO underrated
Yesss Strange the Dreamer! 💛
oh yes, i would highly recommend the night circus!!
Here all the books I've read because of you:
-Six of Crows (thank god for that)
-Infernal Devices
-A curse so dark and Lonely
-Ember in the Ashes
Literally all of them became my favorite
omg i love love love love the infernal devices so much it's my all time favorite! do you recommend ember in the ashes?
I just start the the An Ember in the Ashes series and binged all three books. I can’t wait for book four in December! 😊😊😊
Is it worth it? I just got the first book and I’m scared to start a series and not like it.
what’s it about?
@@bubbliefrost8958 I liked it! It is very fast-paced though. Book three has been my least favorite so far, so I hope book 4 is awesome.
I own it, but haven't read it yet since I'm reading the Scythe trilogy first!
@@justaperson1998 scythe 💕 also you should totally get to an ember in the ashes, it’s a good series.
FALL HANNAH IS BACKKKK 🍂🍁🌾🍂🌾🍁🍄
THE HAIR❤️THE MAKEUP ❤️THE RECS❤️ THE BOOKSHELVES❤️ perfection 💫
Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller is also SO GOOD. I’ve never seen live portrayed in words so well
is it a good read?? i’d love to buy it but i have a bad habit of reading a few pages and abandoning the book :((
@@gyalting7710 It's amazing! You won't regret it.
@@gyalting7710 it is wonderful!
I recommend it
There is just... a lil too much foot description which is very sus, but it's not disturbing the reading experience. Just a few raised eyebrows.
Idk if it's just me...but Hannah's videos always make me feel so calm and at peace. She just seems like such a gentle and kind human.
Carlos Zafon passed away two months ago, such a loss in the book world.
I read the other two books 📚 in the series and intend to read the last one this autumn 🍂
You’d ADORE Song of Achilles Hannah! It’s also by Madeline Miller and truly is in my top five books of all time. 💕
The Secret History by Donna Tartt is one of my all-time fall reads
The shadow of the wind's author recently passed away unexpectedly. I hope someone will organised a redathon to re read those fabolous books.
Omg yes this needs to happen! I haven’t read his books yet but I wanted to for so long, this is a great idea
I read all the light we cannot see on your recommendation and I really want to thank you for that. It's the first book I've read that is so hauntingly beautiful and descriptive and emotional
Also you uploaded thrice in a week and I can't be happier♥️
Her voice is so soothing and soft it is really relaxing
I can’t - your bookshelf makes me JELLY JELLY!! 😭✨
I love how you react with Red, White and Royal Blue. I totally agree with you. It's a rollercoaster of emotions. This is one of my favorite romance books of all time. 😍
“If you haven’t read An Ember in the Ashes yet-fix it”
I will- also The Astonishing Color of After is GREAT!
I like your choices
I did check out your channel but, unfortunately, all videos were in Arabic!!
Just in case you haven’t heard this recently: I am so proud of you and I’m happy you are here 💛
I. LOVE. THIS. LIP. COLOR.? That's completely irrelevant to this video. I just started The Starless Sea this week and I read In The Dream House a few weeks ago on your recommendation, enjoyed/enjoying both so much, which I'm not surprised because I almost always enjoy your recs. THANKS FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO
RIGHT?!?! Can we find it what it is please... ☺️
Sameee... that lip colour 😍😍
I just ordered Red, White and Royal Blue because I still haven't read that. You've convinced me to go for it!
20% kind of disappointed by it so far, i guess ill keep giving it a try
SO FUN AND ADDICTING u will love it if romance is ur thing
You will absolutely love it.
@@JacklynCunningham Read it with an open mind. I put it down twice and then I realized I didn't give it a chance ( because of the hype) but I LOVED it
@@nikkitontelle I hope so! I've been hearing so many good things about it so can't wait! :)
TO TELL YOU THAT I CLICKED SO FAST
☺️💗☺️
I’m reading a reaper at the gates rn and I AM NOT READY FOR A SKY AGAINST THE STORM. And yes it deserves all the hype!
Beyond the storm* lmao
Ninth House has been sat unread on my shelf for so long now...I even went and got it signed when it came out 🙈 thanks for reminding me that it exists!
I didn’t know Ruiz Zafón was considered a modern classic! Even less outside of Spain! I haven’t read that book but I have read a few of his other works and they are goooood!
I finally read an ember in the ashes and my heart is burning to binge the other books before December! 😍
Some classics are really good for the fall- like Frankenstein, and Edgar Allan Poe short stories and poems. Also Ray Bradbury has a lot of great fall reads like The Halloween Tree and The October Country. Happy fall, Hannah! :)
the vibes in this video are ✨🍁immaculate🍁✨
it's so funny watching this kind of video in october because i'm brazilian and we are in the middle of the spring bUT I STILL FEEL THE FALL VIBES SINCE EVERYONE I WATCH IS FEELING THEM
I recommend YOU continue reading the shadow of the wind series! especially the 2nd one; it is one of the rare sequels that at least matches if not surpasses the 1st! the 3rd and 4th aren’t quite as good but you continue to get more perspectives on the core family and their friends in each book and it ends so perfectly. one of my top favourite series
YES EMBER IS SO GREAT IM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT BOOK AHHH
I literally took a break from reading a torch against the night to watch your video and now I’m going back to it super excited 😌
It's great to see Circe in this video coz I'm currently reading it. I love reading mythology too. It's very different to Indian mythology and quite dark I feel. But definitely a must read. 🔥👍
Red white and royal blue was so cute and just what my burnt out little soul needed this year
I think you would LOVE the song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. My fav book of all time used to be Ari and Dante and then I read TSOA and it's bumped Ari and Dante to second on my favorites list! I've never loved anything as much as TSOA!! You have to read it omfg the book broke me in the best way possible😫
@Alexandra Masella it's the love story between Achilles and Patroclus (both from Greek mythology). If you're familiar with the story of the Iliad, it's based off that story and it's from Patroclus's point of view! I highly recommend, it's the most beautiful story I've ever read and their love is the most beautiful thing ever 😭😭
Ive always wanted to thank you for introducing me to booktube! You were the first booktuber whose video I watched! Since then 90% of my subscribers are booktubers. And, i really am glad for it! So, thanks a lot:)
As a spaniard I'm so happy you mentioned Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I don't know if you know but he recently passed away so reading his works is the best way to honour him.
I just borrowed "the astonishing colour of after" at the library and now I am even more excited to read it! Thank you for this video!
I'm also a huge fantasy reader but I've had my eye on Red, White and Royal Blue! It's a friend's fave so it's naturally on my wishlist. The experience with the audiobook that you had sounds so wholesome! :D
Yesss I LOVED Ninth House!!! I agree with you on your stance with being entrenched all the way through, that's exactly how I felt too!
I always reread Little Women and Anne of Green Gables every Autumn! I love your videos btw they always make me feel super calm and cosy :). I also have been meaning to read An Ember in the Ashes for so long so I really want to get round to it!
I can listen to her voice whole day!!! So calming
I read The Shadow of the Wind over a year ago from one of your recommendation videos and now it's one of my favorite books 🥺❤
Hannah talking is the best thing ever I can listen to her just talking about books all day
omg i have been looking booktubers that match my style, when i was about to give up searching i click on this video and when you mention the shadow of the wind i get so exited!
I started "An Ember In The Ashes" series because of your recommendations, I've read 2 of them so far and it's one of my favorite series now.😊
my fall tbr: reread Harry Potter for the millionth time because it’s the only thing I’ve been able to do during the pandemic
Potter heads ❣✨
It's spring here, but as a rebellious aquarius, I'm still gonna read Circe soon lol
My favourite book to read in autumn is The Night Circus! I’ll definitely try out some of these picks because it’s Hannah and whenever she recommends something and I read it I like it as well 😂❤️
I'm so happy you uploaded, I know it's going to be great :)
I love how you’re uploading videos not related to books while you also keep ur book content. Ur amazing!
You just made my whole day by posting this
Ilysm ♥️
Seeing Hannah just after waking up is pure bliss.
These recs!!! ✨✨✨
I’ve been waiting to read Ninth House this month because I really felt like I needed to read it in October. One fall red I would say is The Scorpio Races. It’s the quintessential November book in my opinion
Okay but Helene from Ember in the ashes is the best character in my opinion. She's powerful and resilient and her conflicts don't make her look saintly like Laia's or Elias's does and I think that's a good thing because I don't like a perfect main character so her perspective is so exciting. But both Laia and Helene are great women to want to be like and I think that's such a special thing. Amazing recommendations I just added The Shadow of the Wind to my tbr!
Love the recommendations! 😍 Really want to binge all the ember in the ashes books when the next book is out in December. Also want to read In The Dream House after hearing so many people talk about it lately.
My recs:
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Strange the dreamer by Laini Taylor
Six H. P Lovecraft stories
All the crooked saints by Maggie Stiefvater
i geniunely cannot explain how excited i get when i see you've uploaded 🥺🥺
I love it when you say "if you havent read this book, FIX THAT" the tbr pile keeps growing ✨
red, white and royal blue looks like a spring book to me for some reason (i guess it's the light pink cover) which is actually perfect since it's spring here and i still haven't read it
I don’t know if the Spanish translations messed it up but I didn’t enjoy An ember in the ashes at all, and I was reaaaally disappointed because everything you recommend I end up loving it... maybe I’ll give it another chance and this time in English, but I’m not convinced yet
I've literally be wishing for fall reading recommendations. This is so perfect!
I aspire to have bookshelves like yours
QUEEN OF RECOMMENDATIONS
I’ve been thinking that the ‘books I think you should read’ is very objective and might not reflect what different people like to read at different times, but I really find that with YA it’s a wonderful thing to do because all the books are so developmental. I’m looking forward to reading the books that you’ve mentioned!
I can’t tell you how happy I am that you are sharing content again. Also, I just have to say you are beautiful both on the inside and the outside! Thank you for sharing these recommendations.
Lol This is why I turn my Siri off. It's creepy how it responds to conversations. Once, I said thank you to my Mom. My Siri responded: Your satisfaction is all that I need. I was like, nope, nope, nope! Goodbye Hal.
IN LOVE. like i feel like my insides are throwing a party every time i see Hannah uploaded a new video🥲☀️ ABSOLUTE FAN
Circe is an amazing audiobook too!
When I read an ember in the ashes I imagined you as Laia because you are beautiful!! Love your channel!
I'm hoping to read The Shadow of the Wind this season! I'm re-reading The Night Circus right now, because I think it has great fall vibes.
Also, your sweater is super cute!
I would recommend In the Dream House even to those who didnt like Her Body and Other Parties. I liked about half the stories in that but absolutely adored her memoir
omg, I never hear people talk about Shadow of the Wind. It's my FAVORITE BOOK OF all time!!!!!! - much love
Calm app really needs to work with hannah! Her voice is so soothing ❤️ thank you for your videos Hannah they help me with my anxiety ❤️✨
the shadow of the wind! you're the first I've seen talk about it and that's a shame because the whole series is so good
I'm really enjoying reading Victorian Literature for October. Other than spooky and mysteries I like reading about academics. The Thirteenth Tale also feels like an Autumn read.
We dont even have fall season😂 but I'm going to watch this😊
Hannah you really know how to make my day, don't you .
Not gonna lie, you’re the person who got me to read the Six of Crows duology and now I really wanna pick up An Ember in the Ashes as well!
Girl , you are glowing. Looking so so pretty and fresh. Great to see back to back uploads
My favorite book of all time being your first recommendation has made my day
I swear I fall in love Hannah a little more everytime she uploads
Don't forget The Raven Cycle! I'm spending my second fall with Blue and her Raven Boys ❤❤
i really want to start reading the raven cycle, is it good?
Jennifer reads wow u REALLY get me☺️☺️☺️☺️
@@moony2352Amazing! With an ending that is as satisfying as HP - Deathly Hallows
@@jenniferreads6536 i'll definitely check it out now! :DD
Love your recs. The way you talk about books makes me add books to my TBR even when their not in my usual genres. Thank you!
i literally JUST read the shadow of the wind but in swedish so when you started talkung about what its about i was like wait a minute. Then i checked the author and its the same book:) loved it
I literally just came across this channel and I AM MINDBLOWN, Hannah, you are the utter best, a true reader if their ever was one,
Just started An Ember in the Ashes thanks to your recommendation and I am enthralled so far!
I love so many of these books!!! Ember of the ashes, astonishing color of after, children of blood and bone - I feel the exact same way. I’ve found so many great recs from your videos - so thanks!
i think i’m gonna pick up an ember in the ashes really soon after watching this🥺
what’s crazy is i’m watching this video for the first time today, but on monday i had ordered six books, two of which being red, white and royal blue and circe. i just got the books today, so now i know which to start first!
YOOOO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IM LITERALLY BEGGING YOU READ THE ASH PRINCESS SERIES ITS SO UNDERRATED
Shadow of the Wind, I read this book and loved it. The problem with me is when I read a book and once I finish it that is it ! No book has left me hanging there with its characters and events except... except ... Tortilla Flat , and Howards End . It is not about me or anything related to me as a person but independent of me these tow books left their mark on my memory for ever. By the way, English is my second language 🌸
the greatest booktuber of all time 👏
I honestly didn't think anyone could love An Ember In The Ashes as much as me!
Hannah I really much recommend you to continue on the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, because it just getting better and better! It has become one of my favourite series of all time, if you love The Shadow of the Wind, you will adore the others as well :)
this is truly my comfort channel👰
I love watching your book reviews Hannah because you do such a good job of it.Your one of of the best book reviewers on RUclips in my opinion.Keep up the good work.
