@@zPaaTHGF I always find it amusing to have people seeing such great things and comment that god doesn't exist. Allah says in the Quran "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth; the alternation of the day and the night; the ships that sail the sea for the benefit of humanity; the rain sent down by Allah from the skies, reviving the earth after its death; the scattering of all kinds of creatures throughout; the shifting of the winds; and the clouds drifting between the heavens and the earth-˹in all of this˺ are surely signs for people of understanding." If you still believe that all of that happened by chance (which is extremely illogical because nothing can happen out of nothing), then I don't know who can help you.
Yes, it is unironically beautiful. It means Earth's magnetic field is protecting us. This is just one example of an oasis within a hostile universe set out to kill all living things or to prevent life entirely. Our planet is truly amazing. Each and every condition fell into perfect harmony to allow us to exist. The Earth's distance from the sun, its gravitational force, its strong magnetic poles that diffuse harrowing energy pulses, its moon that is the perfect size to keep our rotation stable, and so on. Not only that, but most planets aren't rocky, and those that are don't have so much water, if any at all. Consequently, the complex beings walking the Earth's snowy surface can look up and behold the humbling but beautiful tragedy prevented above. Earth is a true miracle. One in a billion.
I saw Aurora Borealis on a flight from Toronto to Vancouver. It was strongest from eastern Manitoba to eastern Alberta. Most vivid was in the province of Saskatchewan. Very bright and very powerful against the deep black background at 37,000 feet.
My nieces name is Aurora I helped name her I gave my sister the name Aurora because all of her kids name starts with a A and she was just born 4 days ago I was thinking of a name that started with A and this one come to mind plus the Northern lights are beautiful so I thought it was a fitting name for a girl
Use to watch for the Aurora Borealis while flying over the Northern Pacific sometimes at night from Seattle to Hong Kong, usually on the Eastbound flights back. Do not remember if the flights from Tokyo or Seoul flew more Northernly routes. Incredible displays!
Now that's gorgeous! I was able to see it last March here in N. TN, USA, but the only color visible was green. I'm not complaining, it was still beautiful and mesmerizing.

@markmanuwe3747 you can, actually. But only during extreme stoming, for moderate to weak storms you are correct, then the colours come out only via camera, with the naked eye it would be some greyish white foggy cloud imitation moving real fast
I saw them one night in WI 33 yrs ago. It was about 3am. I had to wake my children up to see the beauty. I will never forget the beauty. The movement of the lights reminded me of piano keys being played. Gorgeous.
You know what's sad.... It's that if we didn't have all these lights on Earth we could see so much of the sky and space...I remember as a kid at my uncle's house I looked up. Saw so many stars..I was mesmerized... It was incredible... I'll never forget it.
As a ypung man, i would cross- country ski on full moon nights. I saw the solar storms of about 30 yrs. ago. To have the two together is a blessing, a dream. God is great.
Really amazing 😮 , Northern Lights Photographer of the Year 2023 competition has been announced, unveiling the most outstanding aurora borealis or australis photographs of the year.
Thanks! I haven't even heard about the competition before, but checked it and there is not any photos from Finland😂 Probably they pick their friends pictures, cos I've seen much more impressive pics this year😅

Crazy to think that living in central Illinois especially in the United States, that I was able to see the northern lights with my own 2 eyes in my backyard last Friday night and didn't have to travel all the way to Norway...that shit is wild bro
Dude same! I'm in Central IL and saw them from my backyard for the first time as well. May 10th, it was crazy. Then 5 months later on October 10th we got to see them again!
Question, was it actually quite this bright in person? I saw the lights twice this year and both times they were a little faint but cameras boosted their colors and brightness significantly. My area has a little bit of light pollution and I live quite a bit south in a region that doesn't normally get them.
Stunning!! You can also see the Northern Lights in NWT and the Yukon in Canada! Just as gorgeous! I hope everyone can experience this phenomenon in their lifetime :)
Brother, we will see this light in our Sagar city also on the night of 1 September 2024 between 7:00 - 7:30. This green light flashed in the sky for 1 second and disappeared. We looked at it for a while and then learned from a friend that it is called aurora. So go to RUclips to watch this video and comment on the first video I found.

Voitteko kuvitella kun me sisaret seisoimme pakkasiltana lumipolulla ja yritettiin huulet törröllä viheltää, ja tiedättekö mitä, revontulet todella muuttivat muotoa! 😮😃😄 Kokeilkaa vaikka itse! 😁 ❤
