Nice find! That looks like a '72. (Horizontal parking lights in the front and Mustang script emblem on the rear instead of individual letters.) I would have been curious to see the VIN.

I bet it looked great in 1987 after it was restored. It was someone's pride and joy. Sad to see it in this condition.
