    My first car! ❤. All the boys loved it...

    • @PatienceMelissa
      @PatienceMelissa 2 года назад

      Mine was a 1972 but not a Mach I. It was a stick shift/manual transmission with a V-8 engine, like a forest green exterior and tan interior. I purchased from original owner who took good care of it. What I liked about the car in addition to the stick shift was the "Fasten Seat Belt" red light and buzzer that went off when someone sat in passenger seat. It would buzz until they fastened their seat belt... And, no, I didn't let them sit on it. Also, the A/C worked great. Really liked that car. ❤

    • @PatienceMelissa
      @PatienceMelissa 2 года назад

      It also had a stereo with cassette player which worked great but that may have been the one my boyfriend had purchased to replace the one I had. He also bought new speakers for me. Later became my husband.

      Lap belts in 71-73 mustangs/cougars. So even when you are buckled, no one can tell. 351C in those, and Cougars, is the right engine.

    Would that V8 be from before or after emission regulations basically killed the muscle car era?

    • @Dunkaroos248
      @Dunkaroos248 5 лет назад +1

      It’s from before. The mustang took a turn for the worst in 1974 when the mustang II came out. Keep in mind that emission controls are no longer necessary on a car this old so if you wanted to open it up with a hotter cam, heads, headers (which it has) you can no problem

Then we would know the sound and how it should take off. Also if you have this info the rear end ratio.. thanks.. you are a lucky guy doing this..👍🐻🇺🇸
