Great video. I've had one of those for years and was curious how other people use it. I'm glad I came across your page. Alot of helpful gardening tips.
hello from the cool rainy Ozarks Harold! a great place to see if advertised things work is go to goodwill or salvation army store!! I see the weasel there! crappie are beginning to bite!! maybe the bride will go fishing and hunting with ya! tight lines and grace be with you!!
We've got one of those, cept it's at least 20 years old. A wooden handle, yellow plastic holder, and the same spikes. I knew what trouble you'd have. Got up this morning to go after Tom, we're getting a good storm: rain sideways, wind, lightening, and thunder. Dad went back to bed and I've been watching it through the window. Good day to ya Preacher
@@preachersdayoff We had a storm last week and it hailed twice. The Lord really released the clouds from His storehouse today, pouring so hard we could barely see 5 yards out the window! While hunting this morning in our box in the air, so many trees were falling. I couldn't truthfully answer the age old question, "do trees scream when they fall in the forest alone? " the wind was blowing too hard to tell. Hope your dill survived, couldn't make good dressing without it.
It's such a joyous time to work the soil again. I'd be tempted to take a torch to those roots and twine all wound up in the weasel. You're a good man, Preacher.
Well, we are bringing the seed trays in side tonight because of a frost warning. Our last frost date is usually April 16 and it looks like it will be spot on.
Good to hear that you give the wife the weasel when she wants it:) I broke mine a few years ago. It still works with 2 ends, instead of 3. Happy gardening!
Is it good for ripping up mud & ice in farm animal pens? The mud in the pen I clean is too hard & thick to shovel up, I can't even grab a handful. I need it in tiny pieces so I can shovel it up. So will this work on that?
It seems the weasel is best suited for lawn patchwork. I had one I bought at a second hand store for $7. I used it for about 5 minutes in the garden like you, and got so frustrated with it I threw it across the yard and the f****n thing broke! I wish I wasn't such a d**k about it I could have kept it for the lawn.
I thought this was a video about the garden weasel not your whole garden. 7 mins of useless banter about his home life ,please show the tool and get to the point of the video.
Gardening in ones backyard. I'll live vicariously through you. Thanks Preacher!
Keep your seat, I'll bring you along

Thanks for stopping by. I'm not an expert but I try to be honest about what works for me.
Great video I’m glad to see beautiful weather here is still little cold and raining it’s all good thanks for sharing
We just had a cold front move through and its supposed to be near freezing tonight. But hopefully that the last threat of frost.

She likes to fish but never asks for new tackle...

We had that storm yesterday. Turned the ground white with pea size hail. I hope my dill sprouts survived.

That's a thought but after I looked, there's a couple plastic spacer bushing in there.

If my new grass is 1/2” high but thin, can I use this tool on top of new grass? Will it damage it? Thanks
You'll need to break your beds up first. This just levels the top few inches and disturbs the small young weeds.
I still get frost till May 24 so no planting yet. Where I am you can't buy dill seed so we grow a bunch too for pickling.
Our last frost is April 16 and there's a chance to night. Those seed tray plants won't go in for another week or two.
How come you didn’t flip the weasel over? It’s twice as aggressive when starting out… it really bites. Try it.
Maybe next time!
Tomatoes are lookn good!! wonder if theres anyway around the root tangling 🤔 Still looks handy!
I think if you stayed on top of them they wouldn't grow big enough to wrap up. These were survivors from the winter.
I have a lot of weeds that have spider-webby roots. I like when they jam up the weasel because then I can clean them out into the weed pile!
Yap yap! Get to the "Garden weasel!
Fast Forward....
I love my garden weasel!
It has a place in my shed
It’s a sweet tool I was surprised also it’s durable . Best for planting grass .
It mainly preps the surface. Great for weed control.
Howdy Preacher- looks like ya got it goin your way. I agree with Uncle, that might make a good back scratcher lol. Y’all take care and God bless ya’ll
It's good for beds but an in ground garden would be better with a tiller.
You just saved me money. I'll stick with my tried and true Oscillating /Stirrup Hoe. Thank you!
They are much better than the Weasel

I don't think it would have the weight to break up frozen mud.
I just want to know about garden tool. Not what you're planting
I'm always here to disappoint...
Awesome! Your in Arkansas? What part? I am in Arkansas...born and raised!
I'm lived in the Ft Smith area my whole life.
It's an awesome tool for the sand in my chicken coop?
That's a great use for it!
I remember those commercials. That reminds me of undoing a backlash in a fishing reel. Some improvements are needed.
Yes, an ol bird nest is the same way
Thanks preacher!!
Why, you're welcome Jeff
Need some moisture in that greenhouse. Not much but some.
If the sun is out you have to open it up, gets way to hot. There goes all the moister.

Preacher, i prefer plan B
My beds are mulched in straw as we speak
"undigested" 😅
LOL
I just bought one of these and it is a POS. Don’t waste your money.
It is what it is, and it ain't a tiller.
