That Mukai B-Chatter was the ticket. I didn't think trout would hit a chatterbait because of noise it puts out. Learned something new today. Great video.
Oh they love it. I have been slaying using the Flash back mini for a while. Changed the trout fishing scene
Sup Jimmy. Great opening day. Nice bass and trout. Like that micro chatterbait. My friend uses a tied fly/caterpillar like the black and pink one you used, calls it a wooly mammoth and uses a bobber. At sportsmans club I usually use a castmaster or another spoon, after 30 min cought so many trout I switch to bass. Sad sitting this one out with best weather yet. But I will get there when ready. Thanks. I think the lure your friend uses is call the wooly bugger? I make those too and those are great for trout. Spoons are definitely great. I could have thrown one and done damage... But I rather throw something these guys are not familiar with lol. Most ppl there had 3 rods and dough bait. Slow and takes up a lot of room!
@@rawrfishing yes Jimmy you are right! I tried thinking name, was close lol. Do you stick with trout fishing much? I don't eat them and a lot die so I donate. Agree about rods. RI made it just 2 rods per person, all those rods casted everywhere you spend half time untangling crossovers. Especially opening weekend. Ty

They are amazing. The moment I discovered them, I fiddled with many different plastics. I like using the Crappie magnet :)

What is a good budget bfs rod for 1/32-1/8 ounce lures? I’m thinking of pairing it with a Tsurinoya Dark wolf Ultra with 6lb braid and probably 6-4lb mono. Great video!
Thx man. Since the Tsurinoya Ares is out of production... I think a good alternative would be the UL models of the Tsurinoya Dragon. I may get one since people keep asking about this out of production rod and I think I should portray more updated rods for the community. So yeah I can nab a new dragon UL for spring.

Hey Jimmy, I'm going trout fishing at a local lake this Friday (2/8/23). I have both the 1/16 oz and 1/8 oz Zman Flashback Minis. The blade looks a little small on the 1/16 oz size. Which size do you like better for stocked trout? How about the trailer for stocked trout? Paddletail plastic like the B-Vibe, a Crappie Magnet or someone suggested a Berkley Micetail? What do you like? Thanks.
The sizes will depend on your fishing depth. But I use mainly the 1/16th. It would be cool to see zman use the larger blade on the 1/16th tho. Trailers are all about experimental, but Crappie mangets are cheap and fun. But any trailers would technically work. It's all about confidence at that point. Not gonna be available anywhere on the US anymore. ZMAN is preventing any retailers to sell these now. So your best luck is to make your own or buy em from Japan.
