I’ve owned my m2k for about a year now and I can confidently agree with every point in this video. I used to only be able to palm grip mice so the transition to fingertip was definitely difficult (couldnt even swipe my mouse properly to turn in game) but eventually it just became so natural to use that I refuse to use any other mouse now. Even if this mouse didnt make my aim any better (which it definitely did) I would still 100% recommend it because its so fun to use and unlike anything else. Just waiting for a wireless version at this point :D

Where do u rest ur hand tho??? Imagine u lay on ur bed but half of it is cut... Ive always loved big mice, the last one I used was Red Dragon Mammoth M801 Length: 121mm Width: 81mm Height: 41mm however it is really old, heavy and outdated sensor. So I upgraded to Cooler Master MM720 which is only 49g and dimensions of 105.42 x 76.52 x 37.35mm quite a bit smaller but now ive gotten used to it and its just fine and i like it a lot more than my previous mouse cuz its so much lighter and more accurate. I cant imagine myself using smaller mice tho, its like driving a small car or wearing small shoes, just doesnt feel big enough ive tried. And then u have m2k which isnt even a real mouse, like where am I supposed to rest or even put my hand ??? They might as well only leave 2 buttons with a stick taped to ur palm no need of a base or anything... That will weight 5-10 grams prob and be even more of a joke

Great video as per usual, I'd love for you to take a look at the JBL Quantum TWS, they are wireless earbuds (think AirPods Pro) with suitable latency for competitive gaming via 2.4 GHz. I think they are interesting even if you only use them as earbuds and not as a full on headset replacement.
I can see how to this true. I tried out Cooler Master MM720 coming from a G Pro and noticed a pretty big improvement in everything. I gave the mouse to a friend since I travel with my SFF and everything I use is cordless other than my gaming pad. Would be a curious to see your opinion about the Cooler Master MM720 since it's a 49g mouse with really nice ergo for claw grip and really affordable.
Optimum I’m begging you to see this not to be annoying anything but you’re One of the only reviewer‘s that I actually trust because of the connection I have with the stats you tell and your description of the items with your personal experience but anyway what is the number one 1440 P and then the number one 1080 P monitors in terms of competitive categories I don’t know if it matters or not but I play Warzone with a 3090
mice like this are always kind of annoying for me, because they are basically everything i want/need in a mouse yet fail at the most important part, let me explain. I recently got a starlight and the less weight and basically flat sides, made an extremely noticeable improvement in my aim, like i felt like i somehow accidently downloaded aimbot or something when i first used it, it was that noticeable. this mouse is almost 20g lighter and has completely flat sides (i keep mentioning this because it's great for consistency, if you put your hand in a slightly different spot then the last time you held the mouse, it wont massively affect how the mouse is pointed because of a divot in the side), but i use a finger/claw hybrid grip, when i'm just holding the mouse or flicking, i'm using fingertip, but the second i start tracking my hand goes straight to claw with a bit of my palm on the mouse for control, and you can't do that with this mouse or the hsk i tried, it's just like a really small thing that ruins the whole mouse for me. maybe i should start practicing only playing fingertip.
So currently which mouse do u recommend to purchase wireless and non wireless and why? (FINGERTIP user) [more of a aggresive fingertip ( fingertip + claw ) ] The Viper Ultimate hits the back of my palm Hand Length: 17.6 & Hand Width: 9.7
Everything the Logitech g pro superlight has is all I need, I feel like If any of the buttons or wireless was missing it would be an instant deal breaker. That's the thing that logitch if not others have found to be what I would think is the golden formula, 4 buttons 1 scroll wheel and wireless. Wish I was able to try it out though.
I think you nailed it, put the same thoughts I had into words. It’s hard to explain but it’s truly beautiful to use. It’s ironic but all the finalmouse marketing actually applies to this more than their own product. I use the pulsar mouse bungee, the cable is the weak spot and that’s saying something. Might try to put an air cord in mine but that limits me to 1khz which I personally think is a well worth trade off. I get cpu usage spikes with 8khz and would need to spend time learning which softwares to use and how to monitor and tune my system, if it’s even at all possible. I’m on 8700k@5ghz. Maybe I can put my usb hub on a different core. Or upgrading cpu may handle it better.
That exactly true, this is the best mouse ever made as of now. I was a palm grip user before I bought this mouse and it took me about 2-3 weeks to get used to fingertip and it worth it. The feel of this mouse is so great when you used to it that g pro super light feels as a brick after it. Looking forward to next Zaunkoenig creation as there is nothing on the market that can compare to m2k as of now.
I desperately want a Lightweight version of something like the Razer Naga Pro but just with the standard 2 thumb buttons (and maybe a forward trigger button). The shape of the Naga Pro is soooo nice for my hand.
glad to see this pop up after discovering the mk1. sad that i cant justify 300 euro for a mouse. plus i've finally found endgame with the mz1 and really wanna try the wireless version with the swappable butt plates. i feel like mz1 with no bump/butt plate on could give you a similar effect to the zaunkoenig
I love how small it is, and I'm intrigued by how it's hollow. It'd probably make it easier to clean. However not having side buttons disqualifies it for me... I hope that big companies take note and start shrinking and lightening their offerings too.

At that point, it would be better to just develope a mousepad that tracks your hand. The clicks are done by tapping on the mousepad itself. Voila, 0g gaming mouse, no debounce delay, doesen't hold you back in speed. Probably unconfortable af, but so is almost everything lighter than the Logitech Superlight.
9:25 I understand that palm and clawgrip users want their mice as light as possible, but as a fingertip user that also uses side buttons, I found that mice that are too light tend to get stuck on my thumb every time I try to use the side buttons. Also, clicking the side buttons causes the mouse to move a lot. This is because unlike palm/clawgrip users, fingertip users don't put a lot of weight on their mice. This is why I prefer mice that are in the 60g 70g weight range.
@@Bruno-cb5gk without some weight being applied on the mouse, you can't use the side buttons without the cursor moving. Try it on your mouse right now.

This mouse was presented in Die Höhle der Löwen in Germany, they has get a deal with a investor and now are selling those mouse worldwide. Only... The price is 299€... This is insane
the sensor latency chart seems to be gone in most of your recent videos ㅜㅜ
been looking forward to see some updates with your test results but here we are..
totally understand all your decisions on anything but it would be so good to see your sensor tests again tho
please reconsider having it in your videos thank you so much for decent contents
Wasn’t the sensor test mainly for wireless mice?
@@Definitely_Melnyxthe high dpi/ viper8k/ budget mice video had the test results
@@Definitely_Melnyx not so sure if the previous videos had some
high dpi video was the first one ive seen
Here's hoping you review the HSK Pro!
i know its not related to the hood classic that the m2k is, but ive been looking to buy myself a monitor, and i just wanna ask - is the budget monitors video still accurate or have there been any changes in the space recently?
Not as far as I know!
The 24G2 is still one of the best btw, but the G24F is arguably better
If that shouldn't be enough, it's always worth checking out rtings and hardware unboxed for great data driven monitor reviews. :)
@@optimumtech Please Optimum if you could do a 2022 Update videos on current best monitors/future monitors it would be great
as the Viewsonic XG2431 is unavailable in half of the world.
Asus ProArt displays are good.
I don't remember if you've discussed this already, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Alienware QD-Oled monitor if you can get your hands on one.
I have one lol - better than anything else out there
Very expensive but at the same time, such a unique mouse. Great video as always🔥🔥
What does the Finalmouse cost on the secondary market though? I have a feeling it may even cost just as much as this.
@@TheSkyCries1 It is around the same price, but it has thousands of units nowadays. Remember when they had resold for multiple hundreds
@@TheSkyCries1 the qualify of finalmouse is very bad compared to m2k. Right mouse button was broken in 2 weeks of usage.
Amazing video! Love your content. Would it be possible for you to compare it to some other "fingertip only" mice like the Starlight-12 Small and G-Wolves HSK wired/HSK+?
Do you main this now? or still on GPX? Ive been thinking about buy this thing for almost a year now...
Would definitely get a wireless version of this
Love your content always educational and honest opinion even being realistic with cost and always give option for all budgets. Thanks for the hard work.
I guess I bought most of the mice in the market even custom ones, I didn't think of the M2K because it's wired and has no side buttons, but after watching this review I’m going to order one
When can we expect Razer Viper V2 PRO review as I can see u already mesured end to end latency on V2 PRO?
Love your mouse review vids.. could you do a video on the pulsar xlite V2 wireless.. it would be much appreciated and compare it with the other mice you have reviewed on
He’s so humble about how good he is at games lol
Great review. Is it the Otsu soft?
Great video as per usual, I'd love for you to take a look at the JBL Quantum TWS, they are wireless earbuds (think AirPods Pro) with suitable latency for competitive gaming via 2.4 GHz. I think they are interesting even if you only use them as earbuds and not as a full on headset replacement.
If they ever make a sub $150 model with similar weight, I'd absolutely consider this
Would you share your koovaks visual settings with us? Love the contrast and overall theme!
Great review. But would you use it as your daily driver?
Great video. So is it becoming your daily driver?
I can see how to this true. I tried out Cooler Master MM720 coming from a G Pro and noticed a pretty big improvement in everything. I gave the mouse to a friend since I travel with my SFF and everything I use is cordless other than my gaming pad.
Would be a curious to see your opinion about the Cooler Master MM720 since it's a 49g mouse with really nice ergo for claw grip and really affordable.
Optimum I’m begging you to see this not to be annoying anything but you’re One of the only reviewer‘s that I actually trust because of the connection I have with the stats you tell and your description of the items with your personal experience but anyway what is the number one 1440 P and then the number one 1080 P monitors in terms of competitive categories I don’t know if it matters or not but I play Warzone with a 3090
The reviewer that good at gaming and reviewing is here
Been looking forward to this review since the impromptu purchase during that one video. Definitely not a mouse for me but still incredible!
mice like this are always kind of annoying for me, because they are basically everything i want/need in a mouse yet fail at the most important part, let me explain. I recently got a starlight and the less weight and basically flat sides, made an extremely noticeable improvement in my aim, like i felt like i somehow accidently downloaded aimbot or something when i first used it, it was that noticeable. this mouse is almost 20g lighter and has completely flat sides (i keep mentioning this because it's great for consistency, if you put your hand in a slightly different spot then the last time you held the mouse, it wont massively affect how the mouse is pointed because of a divot in the side), but i use a finger/claw hybrid grip, when i'm just holding the mouse or flicking, i'm using fingertip, but the second i start tracking my hand goes straight to claw with a bit of my palm on the mouse for control, and you can't do that with this mouse or the hsk i tried, it's just like a really small thing that ruins the whole mouse for me. maybe i should start practicing only playing fingertip.
i would guess that having more room for finger movement without the mouse hitting your palm is a big deal for fingertip grip players
2:35 My good sir, do you shave your fingers?
PS: the perfect mouse cable is no cable.
Need a full in-depth gaming setup tour
And great 😊 content keep it up
So currently which mouse do u recommend to purchase wireless and non wireless and why? (FINGERTIP user) [more of a aggresive fingertip ( fingertip + claw ) ]
The Viper Ultimate hits the back of my palm Hand Length: 17.6 & Hand Width: 9.7
You should try the HSK+, it’s like a wireless version of this WITH SIDE BUTTONS!!
It sucks compared to the m2k
The M3K is coming dec 17th, would like to see that!
Have u tested the glorious ice mousepad? Im intrested in knowing ur opinion on it.. u should try it with ceramic feet or maybe superglides?
now you just have to tie a helium filled balloon to the mouse
wow your aim is ridiculously smooth
Happy to get another perspective for the buyer, thanks!
which dpi and sens u using on that and heavier mouses u was talking about?
as always nice content ! :)
I desperately want a Lightweight version of something like the Razer Naga Pro but just with the standard 2 thumb buttons (and maybe a forward trigger button). The shape of the Naga Pro is soooo nice for my hand.
They could save on mats with bee nest structure and go even below 20g and could sell it for 450 bucks, but they have low iq, so maybe next time.
Good day! I miss seeing your videos on my feed Ali. You are lit
Honestly best tech youtuber
glad to see this pop up after discovering the mk1. sad that i cant justify 300 euro for a mouse. plus i've finally found endgame with the mz1 and really wanna try the wireless version with the swappable butt plates.
i feel like mz1 with no bump/butt plate on could give you a similar effect to the zaunkoenig
he got that dawg in him. bro's aim is wild.
Next iteration of lightweight mice would be wearing a wireless ring that tracks your hand's movement.
brooooo
Ali for Australian of the Year
I love how small it is, and I'm intrigued by how it's hollow.
Problem is the haptic feedback then. Especially the scroll wheel which is basically impossible to implement properly
so youre back to the hayate otsu any thoughts on why you choose that over hein and zero?
9:25 I understand that palm and clawgrip users want their mice as light as possible, but as a fingertip user that also uses side buttons, I found that mice that are too light tend to get stuck on my thumb every time I try to use the side buttons. Also, clicking the side buttons causes the mouse to move a lot. This is because unlike palm/clawgrip users, fingertip users don't put a lot of weight on their mice. This is why I prefer mice that are in the 60g 70g weight range.
that extra weight will provide like 20g of extra resistance at most, just brace it with your pinkie.
@@Bruno-cb5gk without some weight being applied on the mouse, you can't use the side buttons without the cursor moving. Try it on your mouse right now.
but this mosue doesn’t have side buttons
@@ayo0069 So?
What button do you use to crouch on apex? Also great video this mouse is very interesting
Are you going to review the g wolves HSK Plus? Curious as to your thoughts on that one 😅
