The Flinders Ranges are awesome, been there with one of my sons, been back with my wife and cannot wait to take my wife and Jayco caravan back. Bloody awesome!🇦🇺📷😎
Drone footage out of this world episode full of fun and nice rock formations nice scenery Jack and Megan this is what overlanding is abound all capture in this epic episode greetings from South Africa
If it's not too late, make sure you check out Angirichina Village and check out the history around the town on Blinman. There's a lot of mining history up there.
Another great episode guys. Megan tried hard to be encouraging and supportive (but ultimately failing 😁) about Jack's attempt in making fresh pasta. It looks like more practice is needed. But good onya Jack for trying. 👍
Hey Megan and Jack. Greetings. Isn't the Flinders just magic ? Stunning scenery, amazing wildlife and fascinating geology. If you have the time, highly recommend Arkaroola. Thanks for taking us along.
Loved this episode. It brought back many memories of our trip there this time last year. I thought your music selection was fantastic. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face!
Thanks for sharing great footage. Brings back childhood memories for me when as a family we went to Flinders Ranges about 3 times towing a Viscount caravan behind our Valiant Chrysler. My memories are when I removed a piece of glass that was left in a fire pit to put in the bin and didn’t realise it was burning hot, I burnt my fingers!! Best memories seeing the Great Wall of China and some hut at Wilpena Pound.
Its amazing how seeing something can bring back so many memories from our childhood, like Jack remembering the goats he had as a child after seeing the wild goats... Your journey through the Flinders brings back many fond memories for me too when we used to drive through all there... It is good to see that Wilpena Pound has remained untouched and is as beautiful as it was so long ago... Thanks guys for the memories and they will be good memories for you for many years to come
Sorry for the late reply Tony! That’s what it’s all about mate creating those memories! Glad we re sparked a few for you through our this episode. Thanks for watching mate. 👍😊
This episode brings back great memories of camping in the Flinders many years ago. I remember climbing up to St. Mary’s peak where you get a bird’s eye view of the pound and the ranges to the north. A favourite place we used to swim at was Sacred Canyon , not far from Willpena Pound. Definitely a beautiful place to explore!
@@itsJackandMegan Do You Two Know Just How Cute You Are Together😎🥳😘. I just downloaded all the songs in your videos lol. Great great music my favorite is “ I Like It Like That “ ❤️👌🏼. Feel Good Songs just fits the videos thank You so much for sharing
Stunning scenery, thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us. I loved seeing the wildlife, so cool! Jack you actually made pasta!! Oh my gosh I couldn’t even make it in my kitchen!! Good job even if it was chewy lol!!
You two crack me up 😂 I happened to have watched Harry's pasta vlog. I'm pretty sure he said that you need to use a finer flour than plain white flour. It's almost like a powder. Loved Megan's reaction to it 🤣 Did you go through Brachina Gorge as well? We did a weekender up there a couple of years back. Carne off the Outback Highway into Parachilna Gorge Rd. Free camped there. We headed around to Brachina Gorge on our way out. It's beautiful up there.
Thanks again, great video. Guys try pick up some bag sealer clip sticks, keep food fresh and bugs out. Very cheap online or in a Reject shop or alike. Safe travels 👍
Hey guys, as always we loved your vid, the walks in Wilpena Pound are incredible, we just started a channel, only 3 vids up but we covers the Flinders too.
What a small world! solo traveler here, I just left the flinders ranges after spending a week there. Great video!, it's good to see everything from another point of view. It's probably a budget killer, but the scenic flight over the ranges and Wilpena pound is definitely worth it!
I have never been to the Flinders Ranges so really enjoyed this one (although I always enjoy your videos) I am now watching Harry to see how he made his pasta 🤞
Absolutely love this episode. You guys are getting so good at the videography and editing top job. Hey Megan after all that hiking to get shots you should definitely put some into the video itself just after the scene as a screenshot so we can see 😊. Keep it up guys
Thanks so much Paul, so glad you enjoyed it! Yesss will definitely try to do that more often! This was one of those rare occasions where the video was edited before the photos 😂 Thanks so much for joining us on our travels!
Cooking while camping can be a challenge at times - good effort Jack🧑🍳. Meagan, so diplomatic 😁. I always have a backup plan - eggs, baked beans, shell pasta & chilli powder. Really enjoyed the video, didn't know about the ban on drones in N/P, I suppose a wedge tail eagle 🦅 could attack it and try to eat it - just saying😁. Well done guys.
Lol sitting here listening to Jack saying he is making hot chocolate for Megan, my wife 😅 asks me if I would like some as well...how good is that for a bonus listening to you guys. Yay..enjoy the Flinders
A great place to visit. Special rock formations and great drives in the gorges. Are you heading further north to Arkaroola area. Enjoying your travels so far . Keep it going . Cheers.
Hey Brian sorry for the late reply mate. The flinders really was a special place. Have never heard of that area so will look it up! Thanks for watching! 😊👍
Home made pasta is awesome when done properly but when traveling or on a budget shop bought pasta is the way to go, it cost less, keeps forever and taste good. Hard to get a good sunrise in winter but you are in an awesome place. And FYI. Too many chiefs and not enough indians.
pasta by Jack............. 🤣 mate if you nailed it first time the pressure would be on to repeat it, now there's only one way to go - UP!!! UP!!! UP!!! see parks and wildlife know what managing the park is all about, leave the cute feral goats but ban drone flights - go figure??? 🤔👏 another great sunday video guys
I love the Flingers Ranges. Beautiful scenery and relatively tame tracks, makes for a memorable and vehicle friendly overland trip. As for drones, you can apply from the National Parks to see if they'll give you permission to fly a drone. They review each application on a case-by-case basis, and if a permission is granted, it comes with a lot of conditions on what you can and cannot do. But it's worth it.
It also depends on the weight of your drone. There seems to be different rules for drones weighing 250g or less. So a DJI Mini (1, 2 or 3) will be suitable for a sub-250g photographic/video drone.
Thanks again, I am enjoying watch this trip around Australia as much as the first trip, what about you guys, how are you two finding the second trip, what is different this time then the last apart from Covid, you two seem more relaxed. keep up the great work.cheers
Nothing worse than to many people trying to help at the same time. I was helping a guy get unstuck on a beach one day. Was going to be easy. Next minute a 4wd club turns up and trys to take over despite my car being hooked up. Made everything take so much longer and less safe because 10 people trying to give instructions to the poor guy that had clearly never driven offroad.
That recovery with the snatch strap around the bullbar, people in close proximity and the recovery vehicle trying to reverse out made me cringe. 🤦♂️ People could’ve been seriously injured. Great video though. I enjoyed seeing some recovery work as it’s important to spread the word on what the wrong thing to do is. I also think Jack should keep trying to make pasta. As long as there is a hungry animal around. 😂
Yep I was cringing to watching that bull bar bend 😅 not good but sometimes you just gotta step back and let them take care of it if they don’t wanna listen.
So many people these days in AWD think they can tow caravans and trailers any where lol ,lol , no low range , etc etc . Was wondering how you keep warm in the troopy during the winter months ? especially if you are going to go to the high country in Victoria ! cheers 🍻
Yes front wheel drive was very interesting to watch! We have a our trusty sleeping bags 😂 and that’s it we definitely need to invest in some decent gear tho.
Hey Kelly we actually imported them in from China cost us $180 to get those two bowls into Australia 😂😂 they’re such good quality! IKEA sells them just not as thick as ours.
The bugs were weevils, and they might get into other things aswell if you don't have sealed containers. I've actually had weevils in amongst dried pasta before and then they ended up throughout the pantry.🙄
Please store food stuff in sealed containers, saves the weevils getting in, not only that open packets are an open invitation for mice to get into the vehicle and they are hard to get out believe me it's happened to me.
Lol, where have I heard that before from a woman, A for effort and E for achievement. Keep up the good vids. Maybe you drive and Megan cooks. Then again, switch it up, Megan drives and you cook Jack. There is next weeks challenge.
Never perform a recovery in reverse Bad idea unsafe Look up why this is for future recoverys would hate to see some one or something get hurt as a lack of education Loving the vids Jack an Megan Safe travels
Completely understand but like we said to many people got involved so we just took a step back and let other people take care of it. others tried to explain it was a bad idea with no luck 👍
The Flinders Ranges are awesome, been there with one of my sons, been back with my wife and cannot wait to take my wife and Jayco caravan back. Bloody awesome!🇦🇺📷😎
Could explore it for at least a couple weeks stunning place hey! 👍

We go to different parts of the Flinders a few times every year - always new things to see and new places to visit.
The Flinders Ranges: so remote and ancient and epic ❤️❤️❤️
One of our favourite places the Flinders. Great scenery and heaps of natural history.
Loved this episode. It brought back many memories of our trip there this time last year. I thought your music selection was fantastic. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face!

Love you guys so much awesome video. Huge fan. May you be guided in the right direction and save travels. Love you guys all the way from New Zealand.
Good going Guy's, i love the Emu's, such a beautiful Bird, maybe some of that Pasta would of helped that Lady get some traction lol...
Megan & Jack thanks for the video and it has been a while since I visited the Flinders Ranges 👍👍👍
Gotta get back mate it’s stunning! Thanks for watching 😊
My part of the country. They found the oldest fossel in the Flinders. Thanks ♥️
Stunning scenery, thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us. I loved seeing the wildlife, so cool! Jack you actually made pasta!! Oh my gosh I couldn’t even make it in my kitchen!! Good job even if it was chewy lol!!

Another awesome ep guys, you have got back in the travelling grove,
Beautiful scenery guys, looking good 👍
Great episode guys flinders is such an awesome place . Thank you 🙏🏼
Was camped in the Flinders in April. Cold at night but beautiful.
Was very cold hey! But worth it 😊
Too right. Love the videos guys, was watching you over in the UK before coming to Oz.
Thanks again, great video. Guys try pick up some bag sealer clip sticks, keep food fresh and bugs out. Very cheap online or in a Reject shop or alike. Safe travels 👍
I think we actually have some of them in the Troopy somewhere 😂 gotta find em now!
Well done jack for giving the homemade pasta a go
Looks spectacular.
Great work 😉😜

Oh that scenic flight definitely would have killed the buffet 😂 looks like it would be amazing!
I have never been to the Flinders Ranges so really enjoyed this one (although I always enjoy your videos)
I am now watching Harry to see how he made his pasta 🤞
Definitely watch Harry’s video 😂 he did it much better!

Might I suggest you put your dry food in sealed containers like Tupperware or the like as you might find those bugs in your flour to be weevils.
Great episode. Thank you.
I wish you could’ve got rid of those goats. They are a disaster and sadly outcompete the rock wallabies.
Whilst your around the Flinders area try to get to Farina the bakery is the best and a great camping area.
I've never been!! My goal to go there this year! Great work "attempting" the pasta tho!!
Lol sitting here listening to Jack saying he is making hot chocolate for Megan, my wife 😅 asks me if I would like some as well...how good is that for a bonus listening to you guys. Yay..enjoy the Flinders
Great episode, We can’t wait to check out the Flinder Rangers.

Fantastic love your videos
Thanks for watching Leandro! 👍😊😊
Glad you guys are back on the road! Megan - where did you get those wooden bowls from please? I love them.
Hey how’s it going. We actually imported them in from China! But you can get a similar version from ikea 😊
Home made pasta is awesome when done properly but when traveling or on a budget shop bought pasta is the way to go, it cost less, keeps forever and taste good. Hard to get a good sunrise in winter but you are in an awesome place.

Can’t beat an east cheap pack of pasta 😂

another great sunday video guys
Yep would be bloody awesome to get the drone up in the park! Would make for some incredible footage hey!
We love the Flinders Ranges but like you didn't have enough time there. Will definitely go back.
Yep gotta get back for sure 😅

Thanks Kate I’ll have to try again 😂😂

Hey Bob thanks for watching! We are definitely a lot more chilled out this time round! Absolutely loving it 😊
Have you guys camped at Mt Chambers Gorge before? If not 10/10 worth it

Mate, Harry used 2 eggs, not 4 and then another 1 for two of you. Try it again with fewer eggs and roll it out thinner, you'll get it.
😂😂 that’s what I did wrong
Keep practicing your pasta recipe because fresh cooked is so much better.
The bugs were weevils, and they might get into other things aswell if you don't have sealed containers.
I've actually had weevils in amongst dried pasta before and then they ended up throughout the pantry.🙄
Yep they’re still in the car think we have to do a big clean out now 😞
Nice

Megan do you have a pee toilet anywhere?
Please store food stuff in sealed containers, saves the weevils getting in, not only that open packets are an open invitation for mice to get into the vehicle and they are hard to get out believe me it's happened to me.

1 egg per 100g of flour
weevils are what get into flour
