She never would’ve gotten a cross if she would’ve kept looking for lost souls to lay with. The preacher helped save her own lost soul. Fast forward and what she ultimately leaves behind is a son who knows the love of Christ, and will continue to spread the word. This song is all about grace and how the love of god can change your entire life. It’s definitely a tear jerker, but it’s such a beautiful story. The legacy of the mother and the legacy of Christ. Beautiful.

You are spot on, Not many people get the ending. Randy suffered a major strock years ago n wasn't expected to live but his wife talked to him everyday while he was in a coma on a respirator. They said may not recover n may want to think about taking him off of life support, well she held Randy's hand n when she spoke to him to understand if he wanted to go or fight n he wanted to fight. He has been recovering at home for over 3 yes n his voice is coming back but will never be the same but they had him sing part of one of his favorite songs Amen, Amen ( not sure if right tittle but I know this word was in the title
